• You will receive a confirmation email immediately with your order details, the estimated delivery time (typically 6-8 weeks), and any potential next steps.
• To help ensure a smooth delivery, you are very welcome to send us a detailed video of your property and the surrounding area where the sauna will be delivered. This allows us to check access for the delivery vehicle and unloading equipment, helping avoid any unexpected issues on delivery day. The delivery is kerbside delivery only.

2. Order Processing & Manufacturing

• Once your order is confirmed, production is scheduled.

Your Balance Recovery 2 - 3 Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna is handcrafted from premium Thermowood, selected for its durability, moisture and heat resistance, and excellent thermal performance.

The sauna is supplied as a complete flat-pack kit, including:

• Sauna cabin components
• Benches and fittings
• 6 kW Harvia sauna heater and stones
• 2x Headrests
• 1x Bucket, Ladle, and Thermometer 
• All components are carefully manufactured, inspected, and packed for dispatch.

3. Delivery Organisation – FREE Kerbside Delivery & Unloading

• When your sauna is ready, we arrange FREE last-mile kerbside delivery, including unloading.

What this means:

• Your sauna is delivered on a pallet to the nearest safe kerbside location at your property
• The delivery team will unload the pallet from the vehicle
• Delivery is pre-scheduled, and you will be notified of the estimated date and time in advance
• Please note: kerbside delivery does not include moving components beyond the kerbside or positioning the sauna on its base.

4. Pre-Installation Preparation

Before delivery, please ensure the installation site is ready:

• A level, solid foundation capable of supporting approximately 600 kg (empty) plus occupants (approximately 1000 kg) is a must.
• To avoid potential issues, it is recommended not to place the base on a slope or in an area prone to water pooling.
• Clear access from the kerbside drop-off point to the installation area

Electrical preparation, please consult with your electrician in advance:

• As the heater is included in your sauna kit, customers are strongly advised to consult a qualified electrician in advance to assess and prepare the electrical supply. It is advised that your electrician has experience dealing with wiring sauna heaters or experience with sauna builds.

Typically, this will include:

• A dedicated single-phase electrical supply
• Correct cable sizing
• A suitably rated isolator switch
• All heater specifications and wiring instructions are supplied with your sauna kit.

5. Delivery Day & Unloading

On the scheduled delivery day:

• Your sauna will arrive palletised
• The delivery team will unload the pallet at the kerbside
• You are responsible for moving the components from the kerbside to the installation area

Once unpacked:

• Check all components carefully
• Report any missing or damaged items within 24 hours to maintain warranty eligibility.

6. Installation Options

• You may choose self-assembly or professional installation.

Professional Installation Service (Recommended):

• We offer a nationwide sauna installation service for the Balance Recovery 2 - 3 Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna at a fixed price of: £1,299 + VAT
• Our Installation team will arrive on the same day as your Balance Recovery 2 - 3 Person Outdoor Barrel Sauna (Complete Kit) 
• Professionally installed saunas include a 2-year warranty
• The Build will be completed in one day; this will be invoiced separately, closer to the day of installation

Self-Assembly (Flat-Pack)

Electrical connection:

• Must be carried out by a qualified electrician, ideally with sauna wiring experience

Watts ÷ Volts = Amps

For example: a 6kW (6000W) heater ÷ 230V = approximately 26 Amps

Cable size depends on cable length, installation method, and other on-site factors. Always defer to your electrician’s judgment. Heater Selection – Harvia Vega BC60 (6 kW)

The Harvia Vega BC60 6 kW is an ideal and well-matched choice. It offers reliable performance while remaining energy-efficient for this sauna's size.

With a heating range suitable for 5–8 m³, the BC60 is perfectly sized for the BR sauna, delivering consistent heat without unnecessary power consumption. It provides straightforward, dependable sauna heating without WiFi or advanced digital controls—making it a cost-effective and robust option.

Heaters with higher kW ratings will heat a sauna more quickly but also consume more energy. For the BR’s 5.5 m³ volume, the 6 kW BC60 strikes an excellent balance between heat-up time and efficiency.

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician before your sauna arrives to ensure the electrical supply, cable sizing, and isolator meet requirements.

All Harvia Vega BC60 heaters are supplied with stones included.

Sauna Warranty Terms – Balance Recovery

At Balance Recovery, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of all our saunas. To give you complete confidence in your purchase, we offer a 2-year warranty when the sauna is installed by a professional or an approved installer. For customers who choose to self-assemble, a 1-year warranty applies.

To maintain product longevity and ensure the warranty remains valid, please follow the guidance below.

1. Finishing Requirements

Self-assembled wooden saunas must be treated both internally and externally with a suitable breathable wood oil immediately after installation. This is essential to validate the warranty.

2. Missing or Defective Components

If any components are missing or damaged upon delivery or during assembly, please take clear photographs and contact us immediately at contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.

Missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product. Claims submitted after this timeframe will not qualify for free replacement, though parts can still be supplied at an additional cost.

3. Foundation Requirements

The sauna must be installed on a level, properly prepared base to ensure correct alignment of doors, windows, and structural elements.

4. Warranty Terms

• The warranty is valid for 2 years from handover for professionally installed saunas, and 1 year for self-assembled units, provided all instructions and finishing requirements are followed.
• The warranty covers manufacturing faults, construction defects, and missing components.
• Replacement or repair of parts does not extend the original warranty period.
• Claims must include photographic evidence and full details, sent to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk within the required timeframe.
• Balance Recovery reserves the right to request additional inspection or involve independent experts if necessary.

5. Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under the warranty:

• Damage caused by incorrect self-assembly or failure to follow installation instructions.
• Products stored outdoors in flatpack form and exposed to the elements.
• Transport damage, which must be reported to the courier immediately.
• Issues arising from an uneven or unsuitable foundation.
• Failure to finish the wood inside and out after assembly.
• Natural wood characteristics, including knots, resin pockets, tone variations, expansion, contraction, or minor cracking.
• Breakage or damage to glass components and condensation on glass.
• Loss, damage, or defects caused by theft, vandalism, or extreme weather conditions.

6. Warranty Invalidation

The warranty will be void if:

• The buyer fails to inspect the product’s contents and condition before assembly.
• Missing parts are not reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Faulty or incorrect components are installed despite being identifiable before assembly.
• Incorrect details are provided, or proof of purchase cannot be supplied.

Returns and Refunds Policy for Made-to-Order Saunas

Why Returns Are Limited for Made-to-Order Saunas

Each sauna is custom-built according to specific customer requirements. As these items cannot be resold or restocked, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once the production process has begun.

Please review all details of your order carefully before confirming, including dimensions, features, and finishes.

• Our Policy in Detail: Customisation Acknowledgement: By placing an order, you acknowledge that your sauna is a bespoke product created to your specifications.
• Non-Returnable Items: Once production has commenced, cancellations, returns, or refunds are not permitted unless the product arrives defective or damaged.
• Damaged or Faulty Products: If your sauna arrives with visible damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will assess the issue and may provide a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Order Review

• Right to Cancel (Before Fabrication): You may cancel your order before fabrication begins, subject to an administrative fee.
