• To help ensure a smooth delivery, you are very welcome to send us a detailed video of your property and the surrounding area where the sauna will be delivered. This allows us to check access for the delivery vehicle and unloading equipment, helping avoid any unexpected issues on delivery day. The delivery is kerbside delivery only.

Your Balance Recovery 2 Person Mini Outdoor Sauna is handcrafted from premium Thermowood, selected for its durability, moisture and heat resistance, and excellent thermal performance. The sauna is supplied as a complete flat-pack kit, including:

• Sauna cabin components
• Benches and fittings
• 3.5 kW Harvia sauna heater and stones

• 1x Bucket, Ladle, and Thermometer 
• All components are carefully manufactured, inspected, and packed for dispatch.

3. Delivery Organisation – FREE Kerbside Delivery & Unloading

When your sauna is ready, we arrange FREE last-mile kerbside delivery, including unloading.

What this means:

• Your sauna is delivered on a pallet to the nearest safe kerbside location at your property
• The delivery team will unload the pallet from the vehicle
• Delivery is pre-scheduled, and you will be notified of the estimated date and time in advance

Please note: kerbside delivery does not include moving components beyond the kerbside or positioning the sauna on its base.

4. Pre-Installation Preparation

Before delivery, please ensure the installation site is ready:

• A level, solid foundation capable of supporting approximately 500 kg (empty) plus occupants, approximately 700 kg, ensures the foundation is sturdy enough to hold 1000 kg
• To avoid potential issues, it is recommended not to place the base on a slope or in an area prone to water pooling.
• Clear access from the kerbside drop-off point to the installation area

Electrical preparation, please consult with your electrician in advance:

• As the heater is included in your sauna kit, customers are strongly advised to consult a qualified electrician in advance to assess and prepare the electrical supply. It is advised that your electrician has experience dealing with wiring sauna heaters or experience with sauna builds.

Typically, this will include:

• A dedicated single-phase electrical supply
• Correct cable sizing
• A suitably rated isolator switch
• All heater specifications and wiring instructions are supplied with your sauna kit.

5. Delivery Day & Unloading

On the scheduled delivery day:

• Your sauna will arrive palletised
• The delivery team will unload the pallet at the kerbside
• You are responsible for moving the components from the kerbside to the installation area

Once unpacked:

• Check all components carefully
• Report any missing or damaged items within 24 hours to maintain warranty eligibility.

Self-Assembly (Flat-Pack):

Typically, a dedicated supply is required—similar to those used for electric showers or cookers. Most domestic sauna heaters in the UK are connected to a single-phase 230V supply, and the Amps can be calculated using:

Watts ÷ Volts = Amps

For example: a 6kW (6000W) heater ÷ 230V = approximately 26 Amps

This sauna comes with a Harvia Vega BC35 3.5kW electric heater. This can be run from either a single-phase or three-phase supply. Please give the heater installation manual to your electrician so that he can understand how to wire it.

Heater Selection – Harvia Vega BC35 (3.5 kW)

The Harvia Vega BC35 3.5 kW is an ideal and well-matched choice. It offers reliable performance while remaining energy-efficient for this sauna's size.

With a heating range suitable for 5–8 m³, the 3.5 kW is perfectly sized for the BR sauna, delivering consistent heat without unnecessary power consumption. It provides straightforward, dependable sauna heating without WiFi or advanced digital controls—making it a cost-effective and robust option.

Heaters with higher kW ratings will heat a sauna more quickly but also consume more energy. For the BR’s 2.8 m³ volume, the 3.5 kW BC35 strikes an excellent balance between heat-up time and efficiency.

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician before your sauna arrives to ensure the electrical supply, cable sizing, and isolator meet requirements.

All Harvia Vega BC35 heaters are supplied with stones included.

To ensure the longevity of your product and to maintain your factory warranty, please carefully follow the guidelines below.

1. Important Care Instructions

Wood Treatment Requirement

If your wooden product is supplied as a self-assembly kit, it must be treated both internally and externally with a suitable breathable wood oil immediately after assembly. This is a mandatory requirement for warranty validation.

2. Reporting Missing or Defective Parts

Upon delivery and during assembly, please inspect all components carefully. If any parts are missing or defective, take clear photographs and contact us at contact@balancerecovery.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Claims for missing items submitted after this period will not be covered under the warranty. However, we may still supply replacement parts outside this window, though charges will apply.

3. Installation Surface

Your sauna must be installed on a level, pre-prepared foundation to ensure correct alignment and proper functioning of doors and windows.

4. Warranty Coverage

The warranty is valid for:

• 2 years from the date of handover for professionally installed saunas
• 1 year for self-assembled saunas, provided all installation and finishing guidelines are followed

The warranty includes:

• Structural and manufacturing defects
• Missing components reported within the required timeframe
• Assessment and investigation by specialists, if necessary

The warranty does not extend if replacement parts are supplied during the warranty period.

5. Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under the warranty:

• Assembly Errors: Any damage resulting from incorrect self-assembly or failure to follow the supplied installation instructions.
• Improper Storage: Damage caused by storing the product outdoors in flat-pack form or exposing it to weather conditions before assembly.
• Transportation: Any transport-related damage must be reported directly to the transport company.
• Incorrect Installation: Including installations on uneven surfaces or failure to follow the assembly guidelines.
• Lack of Finishing: Failure to treat the wood inside and out with appropriate breathable wood oil immediately after assembly.
• Natural Wood Characteristics: Including movement due to temperature or humidity (expansion or contraction), variations in colour or grain, knots, resin pockets, and minor cracking.
• Glass & External Factors: Damage to glass caused by the buyer, condensation on glass, or damage resulting from theft, vandalism, or extreme weather events.

6. Conditions That Invalidate the Warranty

• Failure to Inspect Upon Delivery: The warranty will be void if the customer does not thoroughly inspect the delivery for quantity, quality, and condition before assembly. Any missing components must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Reports after this timeframe may still be addressed, but replacement parts will be chargeable.
• Installing Known Faults: Proceeding with assembly using parts that were clearly damaged or incorrect at the time of delivery.
• Incorrect or Incomplete Information: Providing false details or failing to provide proof of purchase may render warranty claims invalid.

Returns and Refunds Policy for Made-to-Order Saunas

Why Returns Are Limited for Made-to-Order Saunas

Each sauna is custom-built according to specific customer requirements. As these items cannot be resold or restocked, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once the production process has begun.

Please review all details of your order carefully before confirming, including dimensions, features, and finishes.

• Our Policy in Detail: Customisation Acknowledgement: By placing an order, you acknowledge that your sauna is a bespoke product created to your specifications.
• Non-Returnable Items: Once production has commenced, cancellations, returns, or refunds are not permitted unless the product arrives defective or damaged.
• Damaged or Faulty Products: If your sauna arrives with visible damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will assess the issue and may provide a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Order Review

• Right to Cancel (Before Fabrication): You may cancel your order before fabrication begins, subject to an administrative fee.
