Redlight Therapy

Most high-quality Redlight Panels utilise a "dual-chip" or mixed array to deliver two distinct types of bioactive light simultaneously:

• Deep Red (660nm): This wavelength is readily absorbed by skin tissue. It is primarily used to boost collagen production, reduce fine lines, and accelerate the healing of surface wounds or scars.
• Near-Infrared (850nm): This longer wavelength is invisible to the naked eye. It penetrates much deeper into the body (up to 5cm), reaching muscle tissue, joints, and bone. It is essential for reducing deep-seated inflammation, relieving joint pain, and speeding up muscle recovery after exercise.

Irradiance is the measurement of power output, typically expressed in milliwatts per square centimetre (mW/cm²). It determines how much light energy your body actually receives. A high-quality panel should deliver at least 100mW/cm² at a distance of 6 inches. If the irradiance is too low (common in cheaper devices), the light will not penetrate deep enough to stimulate cellular repair, rendering the session ineffective.

Our Redlight Panels are designed for versatility and do not usually require permanent installation.

• Door Mount: Most medium-to-large panels come with an over-the-door hook and pulley system, allowing you to hang the unit on any standard internal door without drilling.
• Floor Stand: Smaller and half-body panels can be placed on a stable floor stand or simply propped up on a flat surface.
• Modular capability: Some ranges allow you to connect multiple panels together physically and electrically to build a custom "wall of light" as your budget allows.

The choice depends on your budget, available space, and wellness goals:

• Redlight Beds: These offer a systemic, full-body treatment. By lying inside a 360-degree chamber, every inch of your skin and muscle tissue receives therapeutic light simultaneously. This is the most efficient method for total-body recovery, reducing systemic inflammation, and improving sleep cycles. It is a passive, relaxing experience similar to a spa treatment.
• Redlight Panels: These are targeted, modular devices. They are ideal for treating specific areas (such as a sore knee, lower back pain, or facial skin rejuvenation) or for those with limited space. While you can achieve full-body benefits with large panels, you typically need to stand up and rotate your body to treat all sides, making the session longer and more active than using a bed.

• Redlight Panels: These are designed for "plug-and-play" simplicity. They operate on a standard UK domestic 3-pin plug and can be hung on a door, placed on a floor stand, or propped against a wall.
• Redlight Beds: Due to their immense power (often 5000W+), full-body beds require a dedicated electrical circuit installed by an electrician. They cannot be plugged into a standard wall socket. You will also need a dedicated room or space (approx. 2.5m x 1.5m) with good ventilation to allow the cooling fans to operate efficiently.
