Read this before you order — your electrical supply depends on the heater you choose
The Else Classic has no single fixed electrical requirement: it is determined by the heater specified at order. Every electric heater Celsium offers for the Else Classic is a higher-output model (9 kW and above), so each should be planned as a dedicated, hard-wired three-phase 400 V connection. Wood-burning stoves need no electrical supply to the heater at all, and the hybrid infrared option runs on a standard 230 V supply.
The general rule

Every electric heater offered for the Else Classic — Harvia Spirit XW 9 kW, Cilindro 10.8 kW and Legend 10.8 kW; HUUM Drop, Hive Mini and Core; Tulikivi Halla E 9 kW; Saunum Experience 9 kW — is a three-phase 400 V (3N~) heater and should be wired as a dedicated three-phase, hard-wired circuit.

Wood-burning stoves need no electrical supply to produce heat (a flue/chimney and building-control sign-off apply instead).

The hybrid infrared option runs on a standard 230 V supply.

The Harvia Legend electric heater shares the Harvia pillar-heater platform used by the Cilindro PC110E, so its 10.8 kW figures follow the Cilindro pattern (3 × 16 A, 5 × 2.5 mm²) — always confirm against the Harvia Legend manual for your exact model. The Saunum Experience manual mandates a minimum 5 × 2.5 mm² connection cable and gives the exact fuse rating and recommended room volume in its Table 1.
Installation requirements (UK)

All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).

Provide a dedicated, hard-wired radial circuit for the heater — do not share it with other loads.

Protect the circuit with an appropriate RCD/RCBO and fit a local isolator / means of disconnection within reach of the heater.

Electrical installation is the customer's responsibility and should be arranged before delivery so the connection can be certified at commissioning.

Always follow the exact fuse, cable and RCD figures in the chosen heater's manual — these can differ between models of the same kW.
Quick sizing note (Watts ÷ Volts = Amps)
Current draw = power ÷ voltage. A 9 kW heater on a 230 V single-phase supply would pull roughly 9,000 ÷ 230 ≈ 39 A, which is why single-phase installations of larger heaters need a high-current radial and thicker cable. Spread across a 400 V three-phase supply, the same 9 kW draws far less per phase (≈ 13 A per phase), which is why three-phase is preferred — and required — for the higher-output heaters offered on the Else Classic.
