How It Works

The Harvia Urban range pairs a designer glass-front cabin with your choice of Harvia heater package. Below is the step-by-step journey from order to your first session.

1. Choose Your Cabin & Heater Package Select the Urban Medium White and decide between cabin-only or a Harvia heater package (6 kW Spirit, 7 kW Virta, or 7 kW Virta Combi steam — each with stones and a Fenix Wi-Fi control). Not sure which? Tell us your room size and electrical supply and we'll recommend the right match. Complete your purchase and you'll receive an order confirmation.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch Your order is prepared and the cabin is supplied with assembly materials and instructions. Lead times are confirmed at order (some Harvia items ship from Finland).

3. Delivery to Your Address Free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The boxes are large and heavy, so please ensure someone is available to receive them; you'll typically be contacted to arrange a convenient day.

4. Receipt & Inspection Inspect all packaging on arrival and check every component against the manual. Report anything missing or damaged straight away, and keep all packaging until the sauna is fully assembled and working.

5. Assembly The Urban Medium is designed for straightforward assembly — two people and basic tools are recommended, and the adjustable legs make levelling simple. Prefer not to build it yourself? We can arrange professional installation at additional cost, quoted to your location.

6. Electrical Connection (Heater) A qualified electrician must connect your Harvia heater to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply sized to the heater's output (7 kW packages require a 32 A supply), in full compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). This is essential for safety and to maintain warranty cover.

7. Commissioning & First Use Add the sauna stones, pair the Fenix control and MyHarvia2 app (if fitted), run a first heat cycle, then set your temperature and lighting for your first authentic Finnish sauna.

8. Aftercare Keep the cabin ventilated, clean the timber and glass as advised, and periodically check the heater, controls and lighting. Contact us anytime for stones, accessories or support.

The Harvia Sauna Experience Delivery & Installation

Delivery We offer free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The Urban Medium is supplied flat-packed with assembly materials and instructions; lead times are confirmed at order, as some Harvia products ship directly from Finland. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, and inspect all components on arrival.

Assembly The cabin is designed for straightforward DIY assembly using the supplied materials and full instructions — two people and basic tools are recommended, with adjustable legs for easy levelling. If you'd prefer, we can arrange professional installation at additional cost, quoted to your location and site conditions.

Electrical connection The Urban Medium is a traditional electric sauna and requires a Harvia heater (6 kW minimum) connected to a hard-wired electrical supply by a qualified electrician, in line with UK regulations. The 7 kW packages require a 32 A supply. We'll confirm the exact supply requirement for your chosen package so it can be installed and certified ahead of first use.

Harvia Manufacturer's Warranty

The Harvia Urban Medium White comes with a Harvia manufacturer's warranty as standard, giving you long-term confidence in your purchase.

Conditions & exclusions

• Cover applies to manufacturing and material defects under normal domestic use.
• The warranty does not cover damage from improper assembly, incorrect electrical installation, misuse, neglect or accidental damage, or natural timber characteristics (minor grain, colour and dimensional variation).
• Correct assembly per the manual and electrical connection by a qualified electrician are required to maintain cover.
• Keep your proof of purchase as evidence of warranty.

Returns and Refunds Policy: Made-to-Order Collection

1. The Nature of Your Purchase

• Items in our made-to-order range are prepared specifically for your order. Please verify all dimensions, your heater package and your electrical requirements before finalising.

2. Natural Material Disclosure

• Aspen is a natural timber; grain, knots and tone may vary slightly from images, and minor movement can occur as the wood adapts — these are not defects.

3. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• You may cancel or amend within 24 hours of placing your order. After this window, but before the order is dispatched/prepared, a small administration fee may apply. Once prepared for dispatch, cancellation may not be possible.

4. Damages and Manufacturing Faults

• Inspect your delivery on arrival and report any transit damage to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk within 48 hours with photographs. Manufacturing defects are handled in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Statutory Rights

• Your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods remain fully protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For non-bespoke stocked items, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 14-day cancellation right may also apply — we'll confirm based on how your order is fulfilled.
