1. Your Warranty Coverage

Because the Home Fin is a high-performance electrical appliance, the warranty duration is based on how often it's used:

• For Your Home (Private Use): 24 Months (2 Years).
• For Business (Commercial Use): 6 Months.
• Tip: If you register your heater with the manufacturer, you may even be eligible for an additional year of coverage. Keep your original receipt safe!

2. The Professional Touch

The most important way to protect your warranty is to ensure the setup is handled by a pro.

• Qualified Installation: To keep the warranty valid, your heater must be installed by a Registered Electrical Contractor.
• The "Golden Ticket": Please keep a copy of the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) your electrician gives you. This is the official proof that the unit was earthed and fused correctly, which is the first thing a manufacturer will ask for in the unlikely event of a claim.

• Fresh Water Only: Only use fresh tap water on your stones. Water from swimming pools (chlorine) or the sea (salt) is incredibly corrosive and will damage the stainless steel internal parts.
• Clean Stones: Rinsing your stones before they first go in prevents "stone dust" from baking onto the elements, which helps them stay efficient and last much longer.

4. External Controls & Sensors

Harvia Sauna Heaters — Returns & Refunds Policy

At Balance Recovery we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, the following returns policy applies to our range of Harvia sauna heaters. It is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. Your 14-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your Harvia sauna heater. To start a return, contact us at contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with your order number and details before sending anything back.

2. Condition & Packaging

To be eligible for a return, the heater must be unused and unopened, in its original, undamaged packaging, complete with all components, fittings, control units, stones and documentation included. Heaters that have been installed, wired in, used, or removed from their original packaging cannot be returned under this change-of-mind policy (your statutory rights for faulty goods are unaffected — see section 6).

3. Return Shipping

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked, insured service suitable for a heavy item, as the heater remains your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse. Please retain your proof of postage.

4. Inspection on Return

Once your return arrives at our warehouse it will be inspected to confirm its condition and that it is complete. We aim to complete this inspection promptly and will keep you informed throughout.

5. Your Refund

• If, on inspection, the heater is returned complete and undamaged in its original condition, we will issue a full refund.
• If any part of the heater is found to be missing or damaged on inspection, the cost of the missing or damaged part(s) will be deducted from your refund, and the remaining balance refunded to you.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the inspection is complete.

6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

This change-of-mind policy is separate from your rights if goods arrive faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described. Any missing, damaged or incorrect parts should be reported promptly on delivery (please refer to the product's manufacturer's warranty for the reporting timeframe). Where goods are faulty or damaged in transit, you will not be charged for return shipping, and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

7. How to Request a Return

Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. We will confirm the return address and next steps before you send anything back.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described; under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have cancellation rights for most items bought at a distance.
