2. Delivery & Logistical "Source of Truth"

• Palletised Security: To protect the internal water tank and the delicate "Triple-Shell" black finish, these units are shipped palletised.
• The "Kerbside" Reality: Delivery is via a tail-lift vehicle. You must have a flat, hard-standing surface (like concrete) for the pallet truck to operate.
• The 24-Hour Integrity Audit: * Visual: Check the black powder-coating for any transit scuffs.
• Internal: Inspect the steamer tank area. Unlike standard heaters, "Combi" units have internal plumbing; ensure no parts have shifted or come loose during transit.
• Deadline: Photographic evidence of transit damage must be reported within 24 hours to activate a claim.

The Combi range is more electrically demanding than a standard heater. It is essentially two appliances in one housing.

B. Stone & Tank Prep

Wash your stones to prevent "dust-steam" and ensure the manual drain valve at the bottom of the heater is fully closed before adding water.

C. The Convection Stack

Place stones loosely in the centre. Do not block the steam outlet. The steam needs a clear path to rise from the internal tank into the room.

• 3-Phase (400V 3N): The recommended installation for balancing the load across phases and reducing individual fuse strain.

• The 24-Hour Critical Check: Unbox immediately. Inspect the black powder-coated exterior for scuffs.
• Steamer Check: Open the top cover and verify the water tank is securely seated and the manual drain valve at the base is intact.
• Note: Report any transit issues within 24 hours. Once the unit is wall-mounted, cosmetic transit insurance expires.

2. Preparing the Mounting Surface

The Combi unit is heavier than the standard R Mini due to the water reservoir and internal plumbing.

• Structural Load: A fully loaded 7.5kW Combi (Heater + 15kg Stones + 5L Water) has a static weight of approximately 40kg.
• Reinforcement: We strongly recommend anchoring the mounting bracket into structural timber studs or a 20mm plywood backing plate behind the sauna cladding.

This is a Dual-Circuit appliance. It requires a specific wiring configuration to manage the stones and the steamer independently.

The Concept R Mini Combi is a sophisticated "Bio-Sauna" instrument. These guidelines explain the conditions required to protect your 24-month warranty and ensure the longevity of both the heating elements and the integrated steam system.

1. Warranty Duration & Scope

The duration of coverage is strictly determined by the installation environment:

• Domestic/Private Use: 24 Months (2 Years).
• Commercial/Public Use: 6 Months.
• Note: Any unit installed in a shared facility (e.g., boutique hotels, gyms, or spas) falls under the Commercial 6-month term due to the increased operational hours.

2. Professional Installation Standards

For these guidelines to be met and the warranty to remain valid, the following must be documented:

• Electrician’s Authority: All electrical work must be performed by a qualified, registered electrician. You must retain the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) as proof of a professional, safe installation.
• Cabling Requirements: Use of non-silicone (PVC) cabling within the sauna heat zone voids the warranty. Only the SiHF-JB Silicone Cable (180°C) is approved for the final connection.
• Control Hubs: The unit must be paired with an approved Combi-capable controller (e.g., Xenio CX110C). Damage resulting from the use of incompatible third-party control systems is not covered.

3. Steamer Stewardship & Water Quality

The integrated 1kW steamer is a precision component. Its lifespan is directly linked to water management:

• Fresh Water Only: Never use pool water, salt water, or "softened" water containing high salt concentrations. This causes rapid corrosion of the steamer element, which is not a manufacturing defect.
• Limescale Maintenance: In hard-water areas, the steamer tank must be descaled regularly. Failure of sensors or elements due to limescale buildup is classified as a lack of maintenance and is excluded from coverage.
• Fragrance Placement: Aromas must be placed only in the provided soapstone cup. Adding oils directly into the water reservoir can cause "foaming over," which can lead to electrical shorts and damage not covered by warranty.

4. Element Protection & Airflow

• The "Loose Stack" Guideline: Stones must be loosely stacked around the elements to allow convection cooling. If elements fail due to warping or "heat-clashing" caused by over-packing the stone chamber, the claim will be rejected.
• Stone Purity: Stones must be washed prior to the "First Heat" to prevent dust from baking onto them and insulating the elements, which can lead to premature burnout.

5. Cosmetic & Transit Integrity

• 24-Hour Inspection Window: Any cosmetic damage to the black powder-coated exterior must be reported with photos within 24 hours of delivery.
• Post-Installation: Once the unit has been wired or wall-mounted, it is considered accepted in its cosmetic condition.

6. Limitation of Liability

These guidelines cover the repair or replacement of faulty hardware only. Harvia/Sentiotec does not cover:

• Labour costs for the removal or reinstallation of the heater.
• Consequential loss of business or personal use.
• Damage caused by external power surges or fluctuating voltage.

Returns and Refund Policy

At any time after submitting your order online or by telephone and up to 14 days following the date you receive the items from us (“Cooling Off Period”) you decide you no longer want an item, we will be happy to exchange the item or give you a full refund provided that you notify our After Sales team at any time before the Cooling Off Period ends by post or email that you wish to cancel the item and, where the item has already been delivered, it must be returned to us ‘as new’ – unused and complete in the original packaging.

If at the time of cancellation the item has already been dispatched or delivered to you, you must return the cancelled item to us (at your own cost) in accordance with our returns policy. Please package the item securely and return it to us together with the original delivery note.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations require refunds to be made within 14 days of the date the customer sends notice of cancellation.

If you are purchasing an item from Balance Recovery by distance means (whether online or via telephone) as a business and not as a consumer, items may only be returned for a refund at Balance Recovery’s discretion; non-stock items are subject to a restocking charge of 25% of the relevant order value. Custom-manufactured items may not be refundable.

If you wish to cancel an item you have ordered, please notify our After-Sales team by email. As we process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an item from being dispatched.

We will refund the reasonable costs you incur in returning the following items to us:

• Items we delivered to you in error
• Items which are faulty or damaged upon delivery
• Items which are substitutes for items originally ordered

We ask that you send us copies of receipts for such costs.

In all other circumstances (including where you cancel an item during the Cooling-Off Period), you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Suppose we do not receive the original item back from you, together with the original delivery note. In that case, we may arrange for the collection of the item from the delivery address and may recover from you the charges (not exceeding direct costs) we incur in doing so. Until you return items to us, you are responsible for their safekeeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap items adequately to prevent damage.

Faulty or Damaged Items

• If the item/s you ordered are damaged or have parts missing upon receipt, provided you inform our After Sales team within 48 hours of receiving the items (supplying them with the reference details shown on the delivery documentation together with details of the damage or missing items and pictures of any damage), we will offer a replacement or a refund.
• If the item(s) you ordered are faulty upon receipt or fail within the first 30 days, we will collect the defective item(s) and offer a replacement or a refund.
• We will typically collect damaged or faulty items within the first 30 days after receipt of the goods. Please contact our After Sales team before returning damaged or defective goods. Refunds will be credited only to the payment method used for the original purchase.
