2. Logistics & Arrival Protocol

• The Format: These units are shipped in high-density, protective packaging. Despite their "Mini" name, they are built with heavy-duty stainless steel internals.
• The 24-Hour Audit: Upon delivery, unbox immediately. Inspect the black coating for any transit scuffs. The Concept R's beauty lies in its flawless finish; any cosmetic claims must be made within 24 hours of receipt.
• Weight Factor: At roughly 20kg (empty), it is a 1-person lift, but care must be taken not to scratch the exterior during wall mounting.

3. Infrastructure: The "Safe-Side" Brief

The Concept R Mini is an external-control heater. It has no dials on the unit itself, ensuring a clean look inside the cabin.

• 3-Phase vs. Single Phase: All models in this range are designed for 400V 3N (3-Phase) but can be converted to 230V 1N (Single Phase) by your electrician using the jumper bridges provided in the terminal box.

4. Site Arrival to First Heat: The 5-Step Process

A. Wall Mounting

The Concept R Mini includes a mounting bracket. Ensure this is fixed into structural timber (studs), as a fully loaded 7.5kW unit with stones weighs approximately 35kg.

B. Stone Prep

Wash the 15kg of stones. The Concept R Mini uses a separate stone chamber from the heating elements. This design protects the elements from direct water contact and extends their lifespan.

C. The "Loosely Balanced" Load

Stack the stones loosely. If you pack them too tight, the internal "Triple-Shell" safety cooling won't work, and the heater will trip its high-limit reset button frequently.

D. Sensor Placement

The temperature sensor must be mounted on the wall directly above the center of the heater, exactly 150mm below the ceiling.

E. The "Burn-Off" (First Heat)

Run the heater at 80°C for 30 minutes with the sauna door open. You may notice a slight smell—this is the protective coating on the stainless steel elements curing. This is normal.

Notice to Property Owner: This document is for planning and coordination with your contractor. All electrical works must be carried out by a qualified, registered electrician. They are the final authority on cable sizing, circuit protection, and ensuring the installation complies with local wiring regulations. You must always defer to your qualified electricians judement as requirements vary property to property.

1. Power Demand & Load Balancing

The Concept R Mini is an exceptionally efficient heater, but it requires a dedicated circuit. Your electrician will determine the best connection based on your property’s available phases.

2. Supply Flexibility (Single vs. 3-Phase)

• 400V 3N (3-Phase): This is the native configuration. It provides the most stable heat distribution and puts the least amount of "stress" on your home's main fuse.
• 230V 1N (Single Phase): All Concept R Mini models can be converted to single-phase. Your electrician will use the copper jumper bridges (included in the terminal box) to link the phases.
• Note for 7.5kW: At 32.6 Amps, this model requires a robust 6mm² or 10mm² supply cable depending on the run length.

3. The "Triple-Shell" Cabling Rule

The Concept R Mini features a triple-walled design for safety, but the internal terminal box still reaches high temperatures.

• The Silicone Mandate: All wiring from the wall junction box to the heater terminals must be SiHF-JB Silicone Cable (rated to 180°C).
• Direct Warning: The use of standard PVC, "Arctic," or SY cable for the final connection is strictly prohibited. These materials will become brittle and crack over time due to thermal cycling, creating a significant fire risk.

4. External Control Hub Integration

As an "E-Series" heater, the Concept R Mini has no internal controls. It must be paired with an external digital controller (e.g., Harvia Xenio CX110).

• Data Link: Your electrician will need to run the low-voltage data cable from the control panel to the power unit, and then the high-voltage silicone feed to the heater.

• The 24-Hour Inspection: Because this heater is a design centerpiece, please unbox it immediately upon arrival.
• Check: The black powder-coated exterior for any transit scuffs or "flex" marks.
• Check: The internal element rack to ensure no displacement has occurred during shipping.
• Note: Report any cosmetic defects with photos within 24 hours. Once the unit is mounted to the wall, it is considered "accepted" in its current condition.

2. Preparing the Mounting Surface

Warranty Standards for 3.5kW, 4.5kW, 6.0kW, and 7.5kW Models

The Concept R Mini is a high-end designer heater engineered for precision performance. To ensure your system remains covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, please adhere to the following professional standards and maintenance protocols.

1. Warranty Duration

Coverage is determined by the environment of installation:

• Domestic/Private Use: 24 Months (2 Years).
• Commercial/Public Use: 6 Months.
• Note: Any installation in a shared environment (such as a gym, spa, hotel, or community health club) is classified as Commercial due to the higher duty cycle and thermal stress on the internal components.

2. Conditions for Validity (Installation Audit)

The warranty is a technical partnership. To remain valid, the following criteria must be met:

• The EIC Requirement: You must retain the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) provided by your registered electrician. This is the only accepted proof that the unit was earthed and fused according to national wiring regulations.
• The Silicone Mandate: The use of PVC or standard domestic cabling within the sauna's heat zone voids the warranty immediately. Only SiHF-JB Silicone Cable (180°C) is approved for the final connection to the heater.
• Control Compatibility: The Concept R Mini must be paired with an approved Harvia or Sentiotec external control hub. Damage caused by non-compatible third-party controllers is not covered.

3. Mechanical Integrity & Airflow

The "Triple-Shell" design relies on consistent airflow to protect the heating elements.

• The "Loose Stack" Rule: Elements that fail due to warping or "heat-clashing" caused by stones being packed too tightly are not covered. Air must be able to move freely between the stones and the elements.
• Stone Purity: Stones must be washed before the "First Heat." Residual dust can bake onto the elements, creating "hot spots" that lead to premature element burnout.
• Element Replacement: Heating elements are classified as "consumable parts" and are covered for manufacturing defects only. Failure due to limescale buildup or physical damage from improperly stacked stones is excluded.

4. Cosmetic & Transit Integrity

• The 24-Hour Inspection: Because the Concept R Mini is a designer centerpiece, any cosmetic damage to the black powder-coated casing must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Exclusion: Once the unit has been wall-mounted or the terminal box has been opened by an electrician, the unit is deemed "accepted" in its current cosmetic condition.

5. Limitation of Liability

This warranty covers the repair or replacement of faulty hardware only. Harvia/Sentiotec does not cover:

• Electrician labor costs for the removal, diagnostic, or re-installation of components.
• Loss of use or business revenue during downtime.
• Damage caused by external factors such as power surges, lightning strikes, or improper water quality (e.g., chlorinated pool water).

Harvia Sauna Heaters — Returns & Refunds Policy

At Balance Recovery we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, the following returns policy applies to our range of Harvia sauna heaters. It is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. Your 14-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your Harvia sauna heater. To start a return, contact us at contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with your order number and details before sending anything back.

2. Condition & Packaging

To be eligible for a return, the heater must be unused and unopened, in its original, undamaged packaging, complete with all components, fittings, control units, stones and documentation included. Heaters that have been installed, wired in, used, or removed from their original packaging cannot be returned under this change-of-mind policy (your statutory rights for faulty goods are unaffected — see section 6).

3. Return Shipping

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked, insured service suitable for a heavy item, as the heater remains your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse. Please retain your proof of postage.

4. Inspection on Return

Once your return arrives at our warehouse it will be inspected to confirm its condition and that it is complete. We aim to complete this inspection promptly and will keep you informed throughout.

5. Your Refund

• If, on inspection, the heater is returned complete and undamaged in its original condition, we will issue a full refund.
• If any part of the heater is found to be missing or damaged on inspection, the cost of the missing or damaged part(s) will be deducted from your refund, and the remaining balance refunded to you.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the inspection is complete.

6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

This change-of-mind policy is separate from your rights if goods arrive faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described. Any missing, damaged or incorrect parts should be reported promptly on delivery (please refer to the product's manufacturer's warranty for the reporting timeframe). Where goods are faulty or damaged in transit, you will not be charged for return shipping, and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

7. How to Request a Return

Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. We will confirm the return address and next steps before you send anything back.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described; under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have cancellation rights for most items bought at a distance. This policy is provided in addition to those rights.
