Every Luna sauna in our collection is delivered exclusively as a precision-engineered flat-pack kit. This is a major advantage for UK homeowners with restricted access. The kit arrives on a large pallet (approx. 2.4m or 3.3m long), meaning the individual spruce panels and components can be carried manually through standard side gates, alleys, or even through a house if necessary. This removes the need for expensive crane hire or "wide-load" vehicle access.

Both models feature the same iconic "Luna" rounded-corner design and marine plywood frame construction. The difference is the internal floor plan:

• Luna 2.3m x 2.4m: A spacious 4.0 m² single-room sauna designed for 4–6 people.
• Luna 3.3m x 2.4m: Features a 6.0 m² total footprint, which includes a dedicated 2.0 m² changing room. This model is ideal for those who want a private space to transition from the garden into the sauna's heat.
  
  

The Luna kit is designed for straightforward assembly. Most customers find that with two people, the structure can be completed in 1–2 days. The process involves laying the floor joists (cradles), building the walls using the 18mm spruce cladding panels, and installing the rounded corner staves. Every kit includes detailed drawings, architectural plans, and a comprehensive usage and maintenance guide.

Yes. To ensure your sauna reaches and maintains high temperatures efficiently in the UK winter, we offer an optional 100mm Rockwool insulation upgrade for the walls and roof. This is particularly effective when paired with the standard tempered double-glazed windows, making the Luna one of the most energy-efficient outdoor sauna kits on the market.

While the main structure is built from durable Nordic Spruce, the interior benches and backrests are crafted from premium deciduous wood (Aspen or Alder). Deciduous wood is preferred for seating because it has a lower thermal conductivity—meaning it stays comfortable against your skin even at high temperatures—and it does not secrete resin like coniferous woods.

Because the Luna is a heavy, structural building (900kg to 1360kg), it must sit on a solid, level, and well-drained base. We recommend a concrete pad, paving slabs, or a heavy-duty reinforced timber deck. A level foundation is critical to ensure that the large panoramic glass windows and the lockable door align perfectly within the marine-grade frame.

The Luna is typically paired with a Harvia heater rated 6kW to 9kW. For a safe and compliant installation, you will need a dedicated 32-amp power supply using armoured cabling. This must be installed by a qualified UK electrician. We recommend having your power supply ready at the site before your flat-pack kit arrives to streamline the final setup.
