The Luna Outdoor Sauna with Changing Room is a premium, made-to-order retreat. Because this is a large-scale timber structure, we follow a precise process to ensure a smooth transition from our workshop to your garden.

1. Place Your Order & Site Assessment

Select your Luna Sauna configuration, including timber type, heater size, and luxury add-ons (LED lighting, bucket & ladle, or headrests).

• Video Consultation: As this is a large, handcrafted unit, we kindly request a detailed video of your property and the intended installation site. This allows us to verify that delivery vehicles and unloading equipment can safely access your space.
• Order Confirmation: You will receive a full breakdown of your purchase and a dedicated reference number.

2. Handcrafted Production

Once confirmed, your sauna enters production.

Each component—from premium spruce timber to tempered glass doors—is carefully stacked, weather-protected, and shrink-wrapped onto a heavy-duty timber base. This consolidated packaging prevents transit damage and ensures every piece of your order is accounted for upon arrival.
• Kerbside Delivery & Accessibility: Our service is kerbside delivery, meaning the pallet is offloaded at the nearest safe access point to your property using a tail-lift vehicle. To ensure a smooth arrival, please confirm that your location can accommodate a large goods vehicle.
• Integrated Unloading & Site Assistance: Unlike standard logistics providers, we offer an enhanced unloading service. Our drivers will position the pallet as close to your desired location as site access permits. Furthermore, our team will assist with breaking down the pallet and transporting the individual components directly from the kerbside to your designated installation site.

Customer Responsibility

While the heater system is pre-installed and configured by the manufacturer, the customer is responsible for all electrical wiring, power supply, and final connections. Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician in full compliance with UK electrical safety regulations to ensure safe, efficient, and long-lasting operation.

The electrical supply required will depend on the kW rating of your chosen sauna heater. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified electrician prior to any installation.

Typically, a dedicated supply is required—similar to those used for electric showers or cookers. Most domestic sauna heaters in the UK are connected to a single-phase 230V supply, and the Amps can be calculated using:

Watts ÷ Volts = Amps

For example: a 6kW (6000W) heater ÷ 230V = approximately 26 Amps

Standard Delivery and Unloading

Delivery to your doorstep, including the safe unloading of the sauna from the vehicle, is fully included in the purchase price. Because our sauna pallets are large—weighing well over a tonne and arriving on a flatbed truck—our team comes fully equipped to handle offloading, so you do not have to provide equipment or manual labour.

The Unloading Process

Our delivery personnel will manage the entire unloading procedure for your kit. Depending on your site's specific roadside access, our team will efficiently offload the pallet using our own forklift or carefully by hand (piece by piece), ensuring all components are safely transferred from the truck to your designated delivery staging point.

Specialised Site Access

While standard unloading from the truck to an accessible staging point is fully included, moving the heavy pallet or its individual components to a final location that lacks standard access (for example, far from the road, up steep inclines, or over large obstacles like high walls) may require specialised equipment, such as a mobile crane.

If your final placement requires a crane, this falls outside of our standard unloading service and must be arranged separately. If you are unsure whether your site requires specialised equipment, please contact us prior to delivery for advice or assistance in determining the right solution for your specific property.

At Balance Recovery, we are confident in the quality of the Viking Industrier products we offer. Therefore, we provide a 2-year guarantee on all items sold, with the exception of electrical or automatic equipment. Warranty terms for such equipment are determined by the manufacturer and provided separately.

To help us quickly address your issue, please include the following in your claim:

• Preferred solution: Let us know your preference for resolving the issue (repair, replacement, etc.).

• This warranty may be voided if assembly instructions provided by Balance Recovery are not followed.
• Assembly should only be conducted by skilled personnel or those authorised by Balance Recovery.
• The warranty does not apply if the product is used for purposes other than its intended use or if our instructions are not followed.
• Balance Recovery is not responsible for issues arising from natural wear and tear, atmospheric influences, or failure to comply with product care instructions.

If your issue falls outside the scope of this warranty, we may still offer repair services at your expense. Rates and terms will be discussed and agreed upon separately. 

Returns and Refunds Policy for Made-to-Order Saunas

We take pride in delivering high-quality, made-to-order saunas designed to meet your unique specifications. Because each sauna is individually crafted, our returns and refund policy reflects the bespoke nature of these products.

Why Returns Are Limited for Made-to-Order Saunas

Each sauna is custom-built according to specific customer requirements. As these items cannot be resold or restocked, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once the production process has begun.

Please review all details of your order carefully before confirming, including dimensions, features, and finishes.

• Our Policy in Detail: Customisation Acknowledgement: By placing an order, you acknowledge that your sauna is a bespoke product created to your specifications.
• Non-Returnable Items: Once production has commenced, cancellations, returns, or refunds are not permitted unless the product arrives defective or damaged.
• Damaged or Faulty Products: If your sauna arrives with visible damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will assess the issue and may provide a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Order Review

We strongly recommend verifying all measurements and customisation details before confirming your order.

• Right to Cancel (Before Fabrication): You may cancel your order before fabrication begins, subject to an administrative fee.
• Relevant Consumer Laws: This policy is designed in accordance with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and accurately described. If your sauna fails to meet these standards, we will take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
• Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order items are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period for online purchases. However, your rights remain protected if the product is faulty or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
