Redlight Panels

Most high-quality Redlight Panels utilize a "dual-chip" or mixed array to deliver two distinct types of bioactive light simultaneously:

• Deep Red (660nm): This wavelength is readily absorbed by skin tissue. It is primarily used to boost collagen production, reduce fine lines, and accelerate the healing of surface wounds or scars.
• Near-Infrared (850nm): This longer wavelength is invisible to the naked eye. It penetrates much deeper into the body (up to 5cm), reaching muscle tissue, joints, and bone. It is essential for reducing deep-seated inflammation, relieving joint pain, and speeding up muscle recovery after exercise.

Distance is critical for receiving the correct "dose" of light energy (irradiance).

• Targeted Treatment: For deep tissue issues like a sore knee or lower back pain, we recommend positioning the panel 6 to 12 inches (15–30cm) away from the body.
• General Skin Health: For full-body skin rejuvenation or general energy boosts, a distance of 12 to 24 inches (30–60cm) is ideal to cover a larger surface area.

Irradiance is the measurement of power output, typically expressed in milliwatts per square centimetre (mW/cm²). It determines how much light energy your body actually receives. A high-quality panel should deliver at least 100mW/cm² at a distance of 6 inches. If the irradiance is too low (common in cheaper devices), the light will not penetrate deep enough to stimulate cellular repair, rendering the session ineffective.

Yes. While red light is not UV and does not damage the skin, the LED intensity of a professional panel is extremely bright.

• Near-Infrared (NIR) Caution: Although NIR light is invisible, it is still being emitted at high power.
• Recommendation: We strongly advise wearing the blackout goggles provided with your panel, especially if you are facing the device or treating the facial area. This prevents eye strain and ensures a relaxing experience.

Our Redlight Panels are designed for versatility and do not usually require permanent installation.

• Door Mount: Most medium-to-large panels come with an over-the-door hook and pulley system, allowing you to hang the unit on any standard internal door without drilling.
• Floor Stand: Smaller and half-body panels can be placed on a stable floor stand or simply propped up on a flat surface.
• Modular capability: Some ranges allow you to connect multiple panels together physically and electrically to build a custom "wall of light" as your budget allows.

Safety is a priority. High-standard Redlight Panels are engineered to be Low-EMF (Electromagnetic Field) devices. They typically use shielded internal drivers and grounded power cords to ensure that EMF emission is negligible (often 0.0 µT) at the recommended treatment distance of 6 inches, making them safe for daily use.

More is not always better. The body has a "biphasic dose response," meaning there is a sweet spot for light absorption.

• Standard Session: We recommend 10 to 20 minutes per treatment area.
• Frequency: For best results, aim for 3 to 5 sessions per week. Exceeding 20 minutes per area does not provide extra benefits and may essentially "cancel out" the positive cellular stimulation.

Cheaper LED drivers often produce a rapid, invisible strobe effect known as "flicker." While you may not consciously see it, this can cause eye strain and neurological fatigue. Our professional panels use high-quality drivers to ensure a steady, non-flickering beam of light, ensuring your nervous system remains calm during therapy.
