Yes. Unlike solo units, 2-person models are engineered with dual ergonomic backrests and a wider bench. The internal layout is designed so that both users have sufficient shoulder room and legroom. Many models also utilise full-glass fronts or large windows to create an "open-concept" feel, which increases the sense of space and prevents a claustrophobic atmosphere during shared sessions.

The power requirements depend on the heating technology used:

• Infrared Models: Most 2-person infrared units are "Plug and Play," meaning they operate on a standard 13-Amp UK household socket.
• Traditional or Hybrid Models: Units equipped with a steam stove typically require more power to heat the stone mass and may require a 32-Amp dedicated supply. We recommend checking the specific kilowatt (kW) rating of your chosen model; however, for the majority of infrared home units, no specialised electrical rewiring is necessary.

This depends on the specific model construction. While many 2-person saunas are designed for indoor use with aesthetically pleasing timber finishes, we also offer outdoor-specific models. These are built with weather-resistant roofing and treated timbers such as Thermowood to withstand the UK climate. Always ensure your chosen model is rated for outdoor use before placing it in a garden or on a patio

Because a 2-person cabin has a relatively small internal volume (typically between 3 to 4 cubic metres), it is highly efficient. An infrared model will usually reach the optimal therapeutic temperature in 15 to 25 minutes. Traditional steam models may take slightly longer (30 to 45 minutes) as they must heat the thermal mass of the sauna stones before a consistent temperature is reached.
