1. Place Your Order & Site Check

• The Access Video: The 643/L is a full-sized square spa (215cm x 215cm). We require a video of your garden access. Because of its 2.15m length, we must ensure there is sufficient "swing room" around house corners.
• The Height Check: With a cabinet height of 86.5cm, we need to ensure no gate headers or low-hanging pipes obstruct the path when the tub is on its side.

2. Navigating Your Property

• Pathway Width: Minimum 920mm (86.5cm height + 55mm buffer).
• Vertical Clearance: On its dolly, the spa stands roughly 225cm high. Please check for low-hanging gutters or internet cables that could snag the unit during transit.

3. Proactive Delivery Scheduling

• The Journey: Your 643/L undergoes an intensive "Social Load" wet test to ensure the twin 3HP pumps, 43 hydro-jets, and 2 fountain jets are performing to factory standards.
• The Booking: We coordinate with you to find a delivery date that works for your schedule.
• On the day, you will receive a personal courtesy call one hour before arrival to ensure you are ready and the site is prepped.

4. Site Preparation

• The Base: This model is heavy. A solid, level foundation (concrete or structural decking) is non-negotiable.

IMPORTANT: PROPERTY REQUIREMENTS VARY. A 25 Amp draw is a substantial, dedicated load. You must consult a qualified, registered electrician to conduct a site-specific assessment of your property’s consumer unit and total load capacity to ensure it can support this spa safely.

1. Professional Responsibility & Boundaries

To ensure a safe and compliant installation, please note:

• OUR ROLE: We are professional spa technicians. Our expertise is in the positioning, hydraulic setup, and final connection from your pre-installed isolator to the spa's internal Gecko Y2 control pack.
• YOUR ROLE: You are responsible for providing the appropriate electrical supply. We are not domestic electricians and are not qualified or insured to install house wiring, circuit breakers, or rotary isolators. This infrastructure must be completed and tested by your electrician before we arrive.

2. The Specification (25 Amp High-Torque)

The 643/L features a 3kW heater and twin 3HP pumps. The 25 Amp supply is the "Sweet Spot" for this model—it provides enough amperage to keep the heater active while the pumps are in use, ensuring the water doesn't cool down during long social sessions.

3. Installation Mandatory Requirements

• Rotary Isolator: A waterproof IP65-rated rotary isolator must be installed. For safety and emergency access, this must be positioned between 2 and 5 metres from the spa.
• The "Tail" Cable: Your electrician must provide a length of 3-core SWA Armoured Cable connected to the load side of the isolator.
• Required Length: Please leave at least 5 metres of spare cable coiled at the isolator location. Our team will route this into the spa for the final connection.
• Hardwired Only: This spa requires a 25 Amp hardwired connection. It cannot be used with a standard plug or a 13A/16A socket.

4. Arrival Readiness

Our delivery team follows a precise schedule to ensure all customers receive their "one hour before arrival" courtesy call. If we arrive and the electrical supply is not ready or does not meet the 25 Amp specification:

1. We will not make the electrical connection. 
2. The spa will be left empty and cannot be tested or commissioned.

A Return Visit Fee will be charged to come back and complete the connection once your electrician has provided the correct supply.

• Supply-Related Damage: Any damage to the control board, the silent circulation pump, or the twin 3HP massage pumps caused by an inadequate supply, "voltage drop," or incorrect wiring at the property is not covered.

3. Owner Maintenance & Exclusions

• Surface Care: The 5-year acrylic warranty does not cover damage caused by leaving the spa empty in direct sunlight (UV degradation) or using abrasive cleaning agents.
• Chemical Balance: In a 6-person spa, bather load affects chemistry rapidly. Imbalanced water can corrode the 3kW heater and pump seals. Maintain a pH of 7.2 to 7.6 to safeguard your equipment guarantee.
• Winterisation: Damage caused by frozen water in the plumbing lines is considered a maintenance failure. The spa must remain powered on (utilising the built-in frost protection) or be professionally winterised during freezing months.

1. Eligibility — Special Orders and Hot Tubs

• Special Orders: Weekend range hot tubs are prepared specifically to your order and are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Hot Tubs: As large, made-to-order spa units, Weekend range hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Change of Mind: Because these items are specialised and configured, wet-tested and commissioned to order, we cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind".
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, access routes, electrical supply requirements and technical specifications before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before it is confirmed for preparation, wet-testing or dispatch.
• After Confirmation: Once your hot tub has been confirmed for preparation or dispatch, cancellations and amendments may no longer be possible.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check the unit and all accessories carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, unsuitable site or access, and damage arising from installation conditions outside our control are not grounds for return of a made-to-order hot tub.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the exemption above.
