1. The "Cube" Profile (Dimensions & Capacity)

• The Build: Height 2.04m | Width 2.08m | Depth 2.06m.
• The Heat Ratio: With a 7.45 m³ volume and a 9kW heater, this cabin offers one of the fastest heat-up times in its class.
• The Occupancy: While officially rated for up to 5 people, it is the ultimate "Luxury 4" model, providing enough bench depth for two adults to recline fully or four to sit with ample personal space.

Due to the 447 kg net weight of the spruce and glass, the foundation load requirement is higher than that of standard models.

• The Calculation: 447kg (Timber/Glass) + 40kg (9kW Heater & 20kg Stones) + 400kg (4-5 Adults) = 887kg.
• The Foundation Requirement: Your floor (concrete, reinforced joists, or tile) must be rated to support a minimum of 1,200 kg, ensuring a 25% safety margin.
• The Level Rule: Because of the corner-glass design, there is zero room for error. If the floor is even 2mm out of level, the glass panels will not meet flush, and the door seal will fail.

This model is paired exclusively with the Fenix 110 External Digital Control.

• The Setup: Your electrician must install a dedicated 40-Amp radial circuit.

• The 24-Hour Quality Rule: Because of the weight and complexity of the glass, you must inspect all components within 24 hours. This ensures any transit issues are flagged before the build begins.

Within 7 days of installation, you must apply a breathable wood oil. This is non-negotiable for the Alaska View—the 40mm spruce panels need this protection to prevent "shakes" (natural hairline cracks) as the 9kW heater brings the cabin to 90°C.

They are responsible for ensuring the installation complies with local wiring regulations, appropriate cable sizing for the run-length, and your property’s total electrical load capacity.

The Alaska View is a high-performance sauna requiring a dedicated radial circuit.

The Alaska View utilises an external power unit. Your electrician should plan the wiring as follows:

• Mains Feed: A dedicated 40-Amp feed runs to the Harvia Power Unit (to be installed in a dry, ventilated location outside the sauna).
• Data Run: A low-voltage data cable runs from the Power Unit to the Fenix 110 Touch Panel.
• Internal High-Temp Run: Power lines run from the Power Unit to the Heater inside the cabin.

Because the Alaska View’s 40mm solid spruce walls retain heat exceptionally well, standard PVC house wiring is strictly prohibited inside the sauna envelope.

• The Requirement: All cabling entering the sauna (Heater, Sensors, and Lighting) must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone-insulated cable (rated to 180°C).
• Compliance Note: Standard PVC (e.g., Twin & Earth) will degrade over time under 9kW heat cycles. The use of non-silicone cabling voids the electrical warranty of the Harvia components.

To ensure a fair and professional installation, we define the following boundaries:

• The Installer (Balance Recovery or Contractor): We physically mount the 9kW heater, the Fenix 110 sensors, and the protective lighting within the cabin.
• The Electrician: Responsible for the final "live" termination into the Power Unit/Heater, testing the full circuit integrity, and issuing the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

The electrical hardware warranty is valid only when:

1. A valid EIC is issued by a registered professional.
2. SiHF-JB silicone cabling is used for all internal connections.

Technical Requirements & Site Readiness

The Alaska View is a high-mass, precision-engineered sauna. Due to its 447kg net weight and its unique corner-glass architecture, the following technical standards are required to ensure structural integrity and to validate your warranty.

Unlike panel-built saunas, the Alaska View uses 40mm solid timber. This weight, combined with the glass corner, requires a non-negotiable structural base.

• Load Capacity: The foundation must be engineered to support a "Live Load" of 1,200kg (447kg build weight + 9kW heater/stones + 2-4 occupants).
• The "Zero-Tolerance" Level: The base must be perfectly level. Because the glass corner is a structural feature, any "run-off" in the floor will prevent the glass panels from meeting flush, causing heat loss and potential stress fractures in the glass.
• Surface: We recommend reinforced concrete, load-bearing floor joists (if indoors), or a level-set tiled floor.

The Alaska View is powered by a 9.0kW Harvia system managed by the Fenix 110 Digital Hub.

• Power Requirement: A dedicated 40-Amp radial circuit (230V 1N~ or 400V 3N~).
• The Digital Hub (Fenix 110): The power unit should be mounted in a dry, well-ventilated area (e.g., a nearby cupboard or on an external wall). A data cable must run from this unit to the touch-panel location.
• Mandatory Cabling: All wiring entering the sauna must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cable. Standard PVC wiring will fail under the 9kW heat cycles and voids all electrical warranties.
• Boundary: We mount the hardware; your electrician is responsible for the final "live" connection and issuing the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

• The Pallet: Your sauna arrives as a single, weather-wrapped pallet weighing approximately 477kg.
• Integrated Assistance: We provide kerbside delivery. If access is clear, our crew will assist you in manually carrying the 40mm spruce panels and glass elements from the pallet to your designated room.
• The 24-Hour Inspection: You must inspect all glass and timber components within 24 hours of arrival. Due to the weight of the Alaska View panels, any transit damage must be flagged immediately to ensure a priority replacement.

Pathway A: Professional Installation Service

If you’d like us to take the lead on the physical build, we offer a full structural assembly service.

• The Scope: Our team arrives on-site to assemble the 40mm spruce walls, fit the corner glass panels, and mount the interior benches and Harvia hardware.
• The Handover: Once the structure is complete, we’ll walk you through the Fenix 110 controls, so you’re ready for your first session.
• Warranty: Because we handle the assembly, this pathway includes a 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty covering both the components and the structural labour.

Pathway B: Independent Contractor / Self-Assembly

Many of our clients already have a construction team on-site for a larger home renovation. We are more than happy to provide the hardware for your team to install.

• The Scope: We deliver the complete Harvia/Sentiotec crate, including all timber, glass, hardware, and technical manuals. Your chosen contractors take over the assembly and alignment from there.
• The Support: Your team will have access to the same technical manuals and electrical briefs that we use, ensuring they have everything they need for a successful build.
• Warranty: This pathway includes a 1-Year Parts-Only Warranty. We guarantee the quality of every Harvia component; your contractors are responsible for the structural labour and final alignment.

To lock in your warranty, two steps are required:

1. 7-Day Preservation: You must apply a breathable wood oil to all internal and external Spruce surfaces within 7 days. This stops the 40mm timber from "checking" or cracking as it adjusts to the 9kW heat.
2. The Test Burn: Once certified by your electrician, run the sauna at 80°C for 60 minutes. This sets the timber and clears the manufacturing oils from the Harvia elements.

The Final Step: Your Electrician

Regardless of which pathway you choose, the final "Live" connection is always handled by your own qualified electrician. Once the sauna is physically built (by our team or yours), your electrician will perform the final hook-up to your consumer unit and issue the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC). This ensures that the high-voltage 9kW system is fully integrated into your home's specific power grid by a local pro who knows your property.

The Alaska View is an investment in long-term wellness. Our warranty is designed to be transparent, fair, and focused on keeping your 447kg sanctuary performing at its peak for years to come.

• Professional Tier (2-Year Comprehensive): When the Balance Recovery Team handles your installation, we guarantee the structural integrity of the 40mm spruce walls and the precision alignment of the panoramic glass corner. This covers both parts and the labour to correct any structural shifts.
• Self-Assembly Tier (1-Year Parts-Only): If you choose to use your own contractors, we guarantee that every Harvia component and Spruce timber panel is free from manufacturing defects. Your contractor is responsible for the build quality and final glass alignment.

• The Brain (2 Years): The Fenix 110 Digital Power Unit and touch panel are covered against electronic failure.
• The Engine (2 Years): The stainless steel housing and internal circuitry of the 9kW heater are covered against manufacturing defects.
• The Elements (12 Months): The heating elements are high-wear components. They are covered for 12 months, provided the "Stone Rule" is followed (stones stacked loosely to allow airflow).

Solid Spruce is a natural, "living" material. To maintain its beauty and structural seal under 9kW heat cycles:

• The Preservation Rule: You must apply a breathable wood oil within 7 days of installation to validate the timber warranty.
• Natural Characteristics: Minor surface cracks (shakes) or resin beads are natural reactions to high-density thermal heating in solid timber and are not considered defects.

To protect your home and the Harvia hardware, the electrical warranty is active only if:

1. Certification: You provide a valid Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) from your electrician.
2. Materials: Your electrician uses SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cable for all internal connections. (Standard PVC wiring voids this warranty).

The Alaska View’s panoramic corner is its standout feature.

• The Level Rule: Structural glass warranty claims are only valid if the sauna was installed on a perfectly level foundation (as specified in our Foundation Brief). If the floor is uneven, the resulting stress on the glass is not a manufacturing defect.

Harvia Saunas — Returns & Refunds Policy

At Balance Recovery, we supply premium Harvia products built to order. Because Harvia items are manufactured specifically to each customer's requirements, our returns and refunds policy reflects their specialised, made-to-order nature. Your statutory rights are preserved in full throughout.

1. Eligibility — The Made-to-Order Nature of Your Purchase

• Made to Order: Harvia products are made to order and enter production once your order is confirmed.
• Non-Refundable Once Production Begins: Because each item is commissioned specifically for you, orders are non-refundable once production has begun. We cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind" from that point.
• Special Orders, Saunas and Hot Tubs: Special orders, saunas and hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before production begins.
• Once Production Begins: After production has started, the order is non-refundable and cancellations cannot be facilitated.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released to manufacture.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the made-to-order exemption above.
