2. Delivery & Electrical Supply Information

1. Scope of Responsibilities

A successful installation requires a clear division of labour between our specialists and your electrical contractor.

What Our Installation Team Provides:

The Customer’s Responsibility (To be completed by a Certified Electrician):

• Circuit Design: Calculating and installing the correct cable and protective devices (MCB/RCD).
• Final Connections: Live wiring and terminal connection of the heater and lighting.
• Control Peripherals: Installation of control panels, door sensors, and thermostats.

2. Electrical Supply Requirements

The Housing: Inspect the stainless steel exterior for any transit-related scuffs or structural damage.

• Cost Waiver: All specialist labour and genuine spare parts charges are fully waived under approved claims.

Sauna Heater Return & Refund Policy

1. Right to Return & Notification

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return your heater for a refund. To initiate a return, please contact our support team at contact@balancerecovery.co.uk. Our team will provide you with the necessary return authorisation and the correct warehouse address for dispatch.

2. Conditions for a 100% Refund

To receive a full refund, the heater must be returned in "as-new" condition in its original, undamaged packaging.

• Showroom Standard: You may handle and inspect the heater only as you would in a physical retail store (e.g., checking the finish, size, and weight).
• Installation Marks: A full refund is only possible if the heater has not been installed. Heaters showing signs of being mounted, screw marks on the chassis, or wiring marks on the terminals may be subject to a reduction in refund value.

3. Exclusion: Thermal Usage & Stones

For safety and technical reasons, the following conditions apply:

• Thermal Cycling: Once a heater has been connected to a power supply and turned on (commissioned), it has undergone thermal cycling. For safety and liability reasons, we cannot accept returns on heaters that have been used, as the internal elements can no longer be guaranteed as new.
• Sauna Stones: If sauna stones were included and the boxes have been opened or the stones washed or placed in the heater, they are non-returnable due to the dust and residue involved.

4. Diminished Value & Usage Fees

Should the heater be returned in a deteriorated state, or if it has been used beyond what is necessary to establish its characteristics, the buyer shall be liable for the reduction in value.

This includes damage to the stainless steel casing, damage to internal heating elements, or missing technical components such as thermostats or sensors. Balance Recovery reserves the right to deduct the loss in resale value from the final refund amount.

5. Refund Timeline

• Processing: Refunds will be processed once our technical team inspects the returned unit.
• Payment: The refund will be issued no later than 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

6. Electrical Compatibility Disclaimer

Please note that returning a heater because it was incompatible with your property's electrical supply (for example, requiring 3-phase power rather than single-phase) is subject to the same 14-day return window.
