2. Order processing & preparation 

Once payment is confirmed, your order is prepared for despatch. The sauna is quality-checked and securely packaged, with the Harvia heater, stones, accessories and instructions included.

3. Delivery to your address 

Your sauna is delivered by a 2-person team to UK-mainland addresses by pre-arranged appointment. Because the boxes are large and heavy, please ensure someone is available to receive them.

4. Receipt & inspection 

Inspect all packaging for damage on arrival, then confirm every part listed in the manual is present and undamaged. Contact us immediately if anything is missing or damaged, and keep all packaging until assembly is complete.

5. Installation 

 Assemble the cabin per the instructions (basic tools; typically two people). Requirements before installation: a level, dry floor able to support the sauna's weight; adequate clearance and ventilation; and a dedicated single-phase electrical circuit installed and connected by a qualified electrician in compliance with BS 7671. Test the heater, controls and lighting after assembly.

6. Warranty & aftercare 

Your sauna is covered by a 5-year cabin guarantee and 2-year electrical guarantee (as published). Keep your proof of purchase and installation details for any future service or warranty claim.

7. Returns (if applicable) 

If you change your mind, returns may be arranged in line with our Return & Refund Policy, provided the sauna is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.

The SaunaMed Traditional 3-Person Sauna is heated by a Harvia Vega 4.5 kW electric sauna heater — a genuine traditional (convection) heater from one of the world's most established sauna brands. Combined with 20 kg of sauna stones, it creates the authentic high-heat, steam-on-demand environment that defines a classic Finnish-style sauna.

Heater Specifications

The Harvia Vega heater (model BC45) is rated at 4.5 kW (4,500 W) and is supplied as a single, purpose-built unit with controls located on the heater itself. It is matched to the 3-person cabin size for consistent, even warmth. 20 kg of sauna stones are included and load directly into the heater.

Performance and Experience

 As a traditional heater, the Vega produces a dry radiant heat that rises through the cabin, while water ladled over the hot stones releases löyly (steam) for the invigorating, deeply warming sensation traditional sauna users seek. The Canadian Hemlock double-wall cabin and tempered glass door help the sauna reach temperature and retain heat efficiently.

Customer Responsibility

The heater must be connected to a dedicated single-phase electrical circuit by a qualified electrician. The customer is responsible for the electrical supply and final connection, which must comply with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671) to ensure safe operation and to maintain warranty cover. The SaunaMed Traditional 3-Person Electric Sauna

This is a traditional electric sauna and requires a dedicated, hard-wired electrical supply — it is not designed to be plugged into a standard 13-amp household socket.

The sauna operates on a single-phase supply. The Harvia Vega 4.5 kW heater must be hard-wired to its own dedicated circuit, correctly protected and sized for the heater's load.

All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician and must comply with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671). A professional will confirm the correct cable size, circuit protection and isolation required for safe, reliable operation.

Please arrange your electrical supply before installation. Completing the connection professionally ensures the sauna runs safely and efficiently and helps protect your warranty. We're pleased to offer complimentary delivery across the UK mainland on this SaunaMed sauna, delivered by a 2-person team on a pre-arranged appointment.

Delivery is typically arranged within a short lead time when the item is in stock; however, please note that timings may vary with stock and logistics. Some SaunaMed models are supplied on pre-order — please check the availability shown at checkout, and our team will keep you updated on your expected delivery date. 

The sauna arrives flat-packed with full assembly instructions and typically requires two people to build. The process is straightforward and can be completed with basic tools; the interlocking cabin construction is designed for a quick, click-together assembly.

The electrical connection is separate from delivery and assembly: the heater must be hard-wired to a dedicated single-phase circuit by a qualified electrician (see Electrical Supply — IMPORTANT). If you'd prefer a professional assembly service, one can be arranged at additional cost, with pricing depending on your location and site conditions.

Warranty Of SaunaMed Traditional 3-Person Electric Sauna

Every SaunaMed Traditional Sauna is supplied with a 5-year cabin guarantee and a 2-year electrical guarantee, giving you long-term confidence in your purchase. This covers manufacturing or technical defects arising during normal use within the applicable guarantee period.

Please note: the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence or incorrect installation. Issues resulting from water misuse, impacts, scratches or other accidental damage are not included. Electrical cover is conditional on the sauna having been installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK regulations.

An optional 3-Year Extended Electrical Parts Warranty may be available for residential installations at additional cost. Your sales invoice acts as proof of warranty.

Return & Refund Policy

To return your sauna, please ensure it is securely repacked in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Once confirmed, we'll organise collection of larger items or direct you to a convenient drop-off point for smaller parcels.

Products should be unused and in their original condition to qualify for a refund. Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed in accordance with our returns policy.

If you choose to cancel or reject your order before delivery, a small deduction may apply to cover associated shipping and return costs. Our goal is to make the process as transparent and straightforward as possible, from order to return.
