1. Choose your model & place your order
   Confirm that a traditional, steam-producing 2 person sauna is right for you (rather than an infrared cabin). Add the SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna to your cart and complete your purchase online. You will receive an order confirmation with your reference number.

2. Order processing & preparation
   Once payment is confirmed, your order is prepared for despatch. The cabin is inspected and securely packaged flat-packed in modular sections, complete with the Harvia heater, 20 kg of stones, fixings and instructions.

3. Delivery to your address
   Your sauna is delivered by our two-person team on a pre-arranged appointment. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, as the packages are large and heavy.

4. Receipt & inspection
   On arrival, inspect all packaging for visible damage and check that the parts listed in the manual are present. Contact our team promptly if anything is missing or damaged, and keep all packaging until assembly is complete.

5. InstallationThe cabin is assembled by two people using basic tools. Requirements before installation: a level, dry, well-ventilated indoor location; adequate clearance around the cabin; and, crucially, a dedicated electrical supply installed by a qualified electrician to power the Harvia heater. The heater connection must be carried out professionally.

6. Warranty & aftercare
   Your sauna is covered by a 5-year cabin and 2-year electrical guarantee as published. Keep your invoice as proof of purchase. Maintain ventilation and clean the timber gently to keep the cabin in good condition.

7. Returns (if applicable)
   If you change your mind, returns may be arranged in line with our Return & Refund Policy, provided the item is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.

The SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna is heated by a Harvia Vega electric sauna heater, supplied with approximately 20 kg of genuine sauna stones. This is a traditional stove-and-stones arrangement that produces authentic, steam-capable heat — the classic Finnish löyly experience.

Heater Specifications

The 2-person cabin is fitted with a single Harvia Vega heater rated at approximately 3.5 kW (3500 W). The heater is wall-mounted and encased, with its controls located on the unit for straightforward operation. It heats the 20 kg charge of stones, which store and radiate heat throughout the session.

Performance and Experience

the Harvia Vega warms both the air and the stones. Pouring water over the hot stones releases a burst of steam, raising the perceived humidity and creating the enveloping heat that distinguishes a traditional sauna from an infrared cabin. Combined with the Hemlock cabin and reflective foil-foam insulation, the heater delivers even, comfortable warmth.

Stones Care

The included sauna stones should be arranged as described in the heater manual to allow good airflow and even heating. Use only water intended for sauna use when creating steam, and follow Harvia's guidance on stone arrangement and periodic replacement.

The heater is a hard-wired appliance0.875rem. All electrical connection must be carried out by a 0.875rem;qualified electrician style in compliance with UK wiring regulations to ensure safe, reliable operation and to maintain warranty protection. See the Electrical Supply section for details.

The SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna Electrical Supply

This is a traditional electric sauna with a hard-wired Harvia heater — it is not a 13-amp plug-and-play appliance and does not connect to a standard household socket. The Harvia Vega heater must be connected to a dedicated electrical circuit installed by a qualified electrician. The sauna is designed to run on a single-phase supply. Because the heater draws significantly more power than a standard plug-in appliance, it requires its own suitably rated circuit and protection. Your electrician will confirm the correct cable size, circuit rating and isolation for the heater, and will complete the connection in accordance with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671). Larger sauna models in this range require correspondingly larger supplies; for this 2-person model the electrician will size the circuit to the heater's 3.5 kW rating. Please arrange for the electrical supply to be planned before delivery so that installation can proceed smoothly. Professional connection is essential both for safety and to maintain your warranty. Exact cable and breaker specifications are determined on site by your electrician.

The sauna arrives flat-packed with full assembly instructions and typically requires two people to assemble using basic tools. The cabin panels are designed to fit together straightforwardly. The electrical connection of the Harvia heater must be carried out by a qualified electrician on a dedicated circuit (see Electrical Supply – IMPORTANT). If you would prefer a professional assembly service, this can be arranged at additional cost depending on your location and site conditions.

The SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna Warranty

The SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna is covered, as published, by a 5-year cabin guarantee and a 2-year electrical guarantee, giving you long-term confidence in your purchase. This cover applies to manufacturing or technical defects arising during normal use within the warranty period.

Please note: the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper installation. Issues resulting from incorrect electrical connection, water damage, impacts, scratches or other accidental damage are not included. Electrical work must be completed by a qualified electrician to maintain cover.

An optional 3-Year Extended Electrical Parts Warranty (£145) is available for residential installations. Your sales invoice acts as proof of warranty and states the start and end dates of your coverage.

The SaunaMed Traditional 2-Person Electric Sauna Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact our team by phone, email or live chat to arrange a return. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply in full. To return your sauna, please ensure it is securely repacked in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Once confirmed, we will organise collection of larger items or direct you to a convenient drop-off point for smaller parcels. Returned items should be unused and in their original condition. Where a product has been assembled, connected or used, this may affect your ability to return it; please contact us for guidance specific to your circumstances. If you choose to cancel or reject your order before delivery, a small deduction may be applied to cover the associated shipping and return costs.
