2. Order processing & preparation 
   Once your payment is confirmed, your order is prepared for despatch. The cabin is inspected for quality, packed flat in modular sections, and supplied with all accessories, hardware and the instruction manual.
3. Delivery to your address
   Your sauna is delivered by a two-person delivery team on a pre-arranged appointment across the UK mainland, typically within a maximum of 10 working days when in stock (in-stock items 3–5 working days). Because it is a large, heavy item, please ensure someone is available to receive it.
4. Receipt & inspection 
   Inspect all packaging for visible damage on arrival. Open the boxes and check that every part listed in the manual is present and undamaged. Contact our team immediately if anything is missing or damaged, and keep all packaging until the cabin is fully assembled and working.
5. Installation 
   The cabin is designed for straightforward self-assembly using the interlocked EZ™ connection and included tools. Requirements before installation: a level, dry floor strong enough to support the cabin's weight; adequate clearance and ventilation around the unit (it is an L-shaped corner design); and a suitable power supply. Supplied 13A plug-and-play on a standard UK 13-amp socket  — if in doubt, ask a qualified electrician to confirm your circuit. A professional assembly service can be arranged on request.
6. Warranty & aftercare 
   The sauna comes with a 5-year cabin guarantee and a 2-year electrical guarantee as published covering defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage from misuse or neglect. Keep your proof of purchase for any future service or warranty claim.
7. Returns (if applicable)

The SaunaMed Luxury Cedar corner sauna is heated by eight DuraWave™ EMR Neutral™ 100% pure FAR infrared ceramic emitters, lava-sand filled, delivering a gentle long-wave warmth designed to heat the body directly rather than the surrounding air.

Heater Specifications
The cabin carries eight DuraWave™ FAR infrared ceramic emitters with a total rated output of up to 2,800 W. The operating temperature range is 20°C–60°C, and the cabin typically pre-heats in around 10–15 minutes. The infrared wave band is targeted at 7.5–15 microns (long-wave far-infrared), with a peak of approximately 9.4 microns.
Performance and Experience
Far-infrared heat is often described as gentler and more comfortable than the intense air temperatures of a traditional sauna, allowing longer, relaxed sessions. The emitters use SaunaMed's EMR Neutral™ design, described by the manufacturer as an ultra-low-EMR system. Combined with the Canadian Red Cedar cabin and tempered glass, the result is a warm, characterful and comfortable space.
Customer Responsibility
Although the emitters are fitted at the factory, the customer is responsible for providing a suitable power supply and final connection. The sauna is supplied as 13A plug-and-play for a standard UK socket if there is any doubt about the suitability of your circuit, connection should be checked by a qualified electrician in line with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671).

The SaunaMed Luxury Cedar FAR infrared range is supplied as 13A plug-and-play, designed to connect to a standard UK 13-amp domestic socket without the need for an electrician. An extra-long 3 m power cable runs from the roof of the cabin.
Even with a plug-and-play unit, we recommend connecting the sauna to a socket on a healthy, appropriately protected circuit that is not shared with other high-demand appliances. If your wiring is older, or you are unsure whether your circuit is suitable, please have it checked before use.
Any electrical work — for example, adding a dedicated socket or converting to a hard-wired connection — must be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure the installation complies with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671). A professional will confirm the correct cable size, fuse rating and socket type for safe operation.
