The SaunaMed Full-Spectrum 6-Person Infrared Sauna is heated by DuraWave Full Spectrum quartz-glass infrared emitters, which combine far-infrared (FAR) with near-infrared (NIR). This full-spectrum approach warms the body directly for a deep, comfortable session at a gentler air temperature than a traditional sauna.

Heater Specifications
The cabin is fitted with 9 × DuraWave Full Spectrum quartz-glass infrared heaters (FAR + NIR). The rated power is stated as approximately 2,700 W in the manufacturer's description, although this figure does not appear in the spec table and should be verified. The temperature range is typically 20°C to 60°C, and the Full-Spectrum cabins are described as pre-heating in just a few minutes.

Performance and Experience
Full-spectrum infrared warms the body directly rather than heating the air to the very high temperatures of a Finnish sauna, so the cabin feels gentler while still encouraging a deep sweat. Infrared intensity can be adjusted by individual heater bank, and the whole cabin can be controlled over Wi-Fi, allowing you to tailor each session. The SaunaMed Full-Spectrum Electrical Supply - IMPORTANT

The SaunaMed Full-Spectrum range is marketed as 13A plug-and-play, intended to run from a standard UK 13-amp socket. For the smaller cabins in the range this means no special wiring is usually required.

However, this is the largest, most powerful cabin in the Full-Spectrum range.. The manufacturer notes that in high-voltage conditions it is advisable to consult an electrician before installation to assess whether the sauna should be hard-wired. We therefore recommend treating the electrical supply for the six-person cabin as something to confirm with a qualified professional before you buy or install.

All electrical work — whether connecting to a standard socket, fitting a dedicated circuit, or hard-wiring the unit — must be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure the installation complies with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671).

The SaunaMed Full-Spectrum 6-Person Infrared Sauna is covered by a 5-year cabin guarantee and a 2-year electrical guarantee, as published by the manufacturer. This gives you long-term confidence in both the timber cabin and the electrical components under normal domestic use.

Please note: the guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or negligence. Issues resulting from water exposure, impacts, scratches or other accidental damage are not included. Installation not carried out in line with the manufacturer's instructions and UK electrical regulations may also affect cover.

Your sales invoice acts as proof of warranty, clearly stating the start and end dates of your coverage. An optional extended electrical parts warranty may also be available — please contact us for current details.

We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with your order, please contact our team by phone, email or live chat to arrange a return, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To return your sauna, please ensure it is securely repacked in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Once confirmed, we'll organise collection of larger items from your address.

Returns are handled in accordance with our standard UK returns policy. Where a return is due to a change of mind, the item must be unused and in its original condition; where an item is faulty, we will put things right in line with your statutory rights.

If you choose to cancel or reject your order before delivery, a small deduction may be applied to cover the associated shipping and return fees.
