• Inspect all packaging for visible damage on arrival. Open the boxes and check that every part listed in the manual is present and undamaged. Contact customer support immediately if anything is missing or damaged, and keep all packaging until assembly is complete.

5. Installation

• The cabin is designed for straightforward two-person assembly using the included tools. As a 13A plug-and-play unit, it connects to a standard UK 13-amp socket. 

Requirements before installation:

• A level, dry indoor floor able to support the cabin's weight.
• Access to a standard UK 13-amp socket within reach of the 3 m power cable.
• Adequate clearance and ventilation around the unit.
• After assembly, test the heater, digital controls, lighting, media system and ioniser.

The SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 2-Person sauna is heated by five DuraWave™ EMR Neutral™ FAR infrared ceramic emitters, delivering a gentle, radiant warmth designed for comfortable, lower-temperature infrared sessions rather than the intense heat of a traditional stove sauna.

Heater Specifications

The cabin uses 5 × DuraWave™ FAR ceramic emitters (lava-sand filled), rated up to 1750 W in total. The operating range typically spans 20°C to 60°C, and the cabin pre-heats in approximately 10–15 minutes. The DuraWave™ EMR Neutral™ design is engineered for ultra-low electromagnetic radiation.

Far-infrared warmth heats the body directly rather than heating the air to high temperatures, which many users find a more comfortable and enveloping experience. SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 2-Person FAR Infrared Sauna Electrical Supply - IMPORTANT

The SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 2-Person FAR Infrared Sauna is designed as a 13A plug-and-play appliance. It connects to a standard UK 13-amp socket using the extra-long 3 m power cable supplied from the roof of the cabin, so no hard-wiring is required for a plug-and-play connection.

Because the cabin draws power from a standard domestic circuit, we recommend using a dedicated, appropriately protected socket and avoiding the use of extension leads or multi-way adaptors.

While no electrician is required for a standard plug-and-play connection, all electrical work and any modifications should be carried out in compliance with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671). If you have any doubt about your circuit, socket or fuse rating, consult a qualified electrician.

Please note: the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or negligence. Issues resulting from water exposure, impacts, scratches or other forms of accidental damage are not included under the guarantee.

An optional 3-Year Extended Electrical Parts Warranty is available for residential use at additional cost. Your sales invoice acts as proof of warranty, clearly stating the start and end dates of your coverage.
