• The 1-person Classic Hemlock is the most compact model in the Classic range — ideal if space is limited or the sauna is for one person.

• Confirm you have a suitable spot roughly 90 × 90 cm with 190 cm of height, near a standard 13A socket.

• Add it to your cart and complete your purchase online; you will receive an order confirmation with a reference number.

2. Order processing and preparation

• Once payment is confirmed, your order is prepared and quality-checked at the warehouse.

• The cabin is securely packaged flat-packed for shipment, with heaters fitted and all accessories, tools and the manual included.

3. Delivery to your address

• A 2-person delivery team is included for UK mainland, by pre-arranged appointment.

• Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, as the boxes are large and heavy.

4. Receipt and inspection

• Inspect all packaging for visible damage on arrival.

• Check that all parts listed in the manual are present and undamaged, and contact us immediately if anything is missing or damaged.

• The interlocked EZ panels click together and are designed for assembly in around 30 minutes with the included tools.

• Requirements before use: a level, dry floor strong enough to support the cabin; a standard UK 13A socket within reach; and adequate clearance and ventilation around the unit.

• After assembly, test the heaters, digital controls, lighting and audio before your first full session.

The SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 1-Person sauna is heated by SaunaMed's DuraWave EMR Neutral 100% pure FAR infrared ceramic emitter system — four lava-sand-filled ceramic heaters that warm the body directly with long-wave far-infrared rather than heating the surrounding air.

Emitter Specifications

The cabin is fitted with 4 × DuraWave FAR infrared ceramic emitters rated up to 1400 W in total. These are lava-sand-filled ceramic elements designed to emit long-wave far-infrared, with an operating temperature range of approximately 20°C to 60°C and a pre-heat time of around 10–15 minutes. The emitters are supplied fitted within the cabin as standard.

Performance and Experience

Because far-infrared warms the body rather than the air, the cabin operates at a lower ambient temperature than a traditional sauna while still providing a deep, enveloping warmth. The DuraWave EMR Neutral system is engineered for ultra-low electromagnetic emissions, which many users prefer for longer, more comfortable sessions. Combined with the Canadian Hemlock double-wall construction and tempered glass, the cabin offers good heat retention and a comfortable radiant environment.

Customer Responsibility

The emitter system is pre-installed at the factory. The sauna is designed to run from a standard UK 13A socket; the customer is responsible for ensuring the socket and supply are suitable and in good order. If you are in any doubt about your electrical supply, please consult a qualified electrician.

The SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 1-Person FAR Infrared Sauna Electrical Supply 

The SaunaMed Classic Hemlock 1-Person FAR Infrared Sauna is designed as 13A plug-and-play. It connects to a standard UK 13-amp household socket using the supplied extra-long power cable, so — unlike a traditional electric sauna — it does not normally require a dedicated circuit or hard-wiring by an electrician. 

Before use, please confirm that the socket you intend to use, and the circuit behind it, are in good condition and suitable for a continuous heating load. The sauna should be plugged directly into a wall socket rather than run through a lightweight extension lead.

If you are unsure whether your supply is suitable, or if your property has any unusual electrical arrangements, we strongly recommend having the installation checked by a qualified electrician working in accordance with UK electrical safety regulations (BS 7671). A professional can confirm the correct socket, fuse rating and circuit protection for safe operation.

This sauna is covered by a 5-year cabin guarantee and a 2-year electrical guarantee, as published by the UK stockist. This provides long-term peace of mind, covering manufacturing or technical defects that may arise during normal use within the applicable guarantee period.

Please note: the guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or negligence. Issues resulting from water exposure beyond normal use, impacts, scratches or other accidental damage are not included.

Your sales invoice acts as your proof of guarantee, showing the start and end dates of your cover. Please keep it safe, along with your assembly and electrical records.
