The Roca Sunflower Commercial Spa Buying Guide

How It Works

A commercial overflow spa is a fitted, in-ground installation, so the journey runs from consultation through civils and plant to commissioning. Here's what to expect.

1. Consultation & Site Assessment: We review your project — intended use (hotel, gym, leisure, wellness), location, deck recess, plant-room space and electrical supply — and recommend the right Sunflower configuration (jet count, heater/pump pack, sanitisation, lighting and controls). As the range's flagship, the Sunflower makes a natural design centrepiece. CAD line drawings are provided for your designer/installer.
2. Specification & Order: We confirm the equipment pack (heater output, pumps, blower, filtration), sanitisation, lighting and control package (with or without Wi-Fi), then place your order and confirm lead time.
3. Civils, Plant Room & Electrical (by your team): Your contractors prepare a level, load-bearing base and the deck recess, build the plant room, and arrange the hard-wired electrical supply via a qualified electrician (SWA cable to a waterproof isolator, per Part P). Given the Sunflower's size, a 3-phase 400 V supply is expected. We provide the drawings and specifications.
4. Delivery: The pre-plumbed shell and equipment are delivered to site (free UK delivery). Access, offloading and craneage are planned in advance — important given the 2.8 m diameter and weight.
5. Installation & Commissioning: Professional installation sets and plumbs the shell, balance tank and plant, connects to the certified electrical supply, fills and balances the water, and commissions the control system. (We can arrange this service.)
6. Handover, First Use & Aftercare: Your team is briefed on operation, filtration cycles, sanitisation and routine maintenance. With water balanced and the spa up to temperature, it's ready for guests. We're on hand for spares, servicing and support.

Roca Sunflower Delivery & Installation

Delivery Free UK delivery of the pre-plumbed shell and equipment to your site. As the largest spa in the range (2.8 m diameter), delivery access, offloading and craneage are planned with you in advance. Inspect the delivery on arrival and report any transit damage immediately.

Installation (commercial, in-ground) The Sunflower is a fitted commercial installation, not a self-assembly tub. It requires a prepared base and deck recess, a plant room for the equipment pack, and a hard-wired electrical supply. Professional installation and commissioning are available and recommended — we'll quote based on your site, civils and plant requirements.

Electrical The spa is hard-wired by a qualified electrician. As the largest model (2,000 L, 8-person, 32 jets), a full-commercial equipment pack will require a 3-phase 400 V supply. Under UK Building Regulations (Part P), the supply runs from the consumer unit in SWA cable to a waterproof rotary isolator. We'll confirm the exact load and supply for your chosen equipment pack.

Manufacturer's Warranty

The Roca Sunflower is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Commercial spa warranties are typically tiered — a multi-year warranty on the acrylic shell plus a shorter full/components warranty — and the exact term depends on your supply configuration and supplier.

Conditions & exclusions (typical)

• Cover requires compliant installation and hydraulics by authorised professionals, and correct ongoing maintenance.
• Excludes consumables, corrosion/scaling/abrasion from poor maintenance, misuse, water above the maximum temperature, installation by non-authorised parties or use of non-original parts.
• Keep your proof of purchase and installation/commissioning records.

Returns and Refunds Policy

As a UK-supplied product, the Roca Sunflower is covered by your standard statutory rights.

1. Your Statutory Rights

• Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered accordingly.

• Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply, a 14-day cancellation right may be available for standard (non-bespoke) orders. As commercial spas are often specified/built to a project's equipment pack, please confirm the cancellation position with us before ordering.

2. Inspection on Delivery

• Inspect your delivery on arrival and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork. Report any transit damage to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk within 48 hours with photographs.

3. Faults & Defects

• Manufacturing faults are handled under the warranty above and your statutory rights. Contact our team and we'll coordinate inspection, repair or replacement.

4. Bespoke / Commissioned Configurations

• Project-specific equipment packs and installed commercial spas may be treated as bespoke; we'll confirm the returns/cancellation terms for your specific order at the point of sale.
