1. Place Your Order And Site Check

• Select the hot tub model that fits your space and needs. Because each unit is prepared specifically for you, we kindly request that you provide a short video of the route the delivery team will take, from the kerbside where the delivery vehicle will pull up to the final location where the hot tub will be installed. 
• Please include any gate and pathway widths, height restrictions, turns, steps, and walls that may be encountered during the route. This helps us confirm access for the delivery vehicle (truck, HIAB/crane, or pallet-lift) and ensures the hot tub can be placed correctly upon arrival. Once we have this, we will send you an order confirmation with all the details.

2. What To Do If Access Is Limited (Please Read).

• When access is limited, a crane may be required to position your hot tub. We recommend discussing this possibility with one of our team members before contacting a crane company.
• It is your responsibility to organise the required lifting equipment, as a local company can visit and conduct any necessary site assessments. During positioning of the hot tub, the health and safety measures, as well as site assessment, are the responsibility of the crane provider.

3. Manufacture & Preparation

• Upon order confirmation, your selected hot tub is scheduled for manufacture or allocation. The product is built to our high standards, incorporating insulation, jets, audio/lighting features, and external finishes, as specified in your selected model. Quality control checks are conducted before dispatch.

4. Delivery Scheduling

• Once the hot tub is ready, we arrange and notify you of a delivery date to your address. This is an all-day appointment, and you will be called approximately one hour before the delivery team's arrival.

5. Site Preparation

Before delivery, you will need to prepare:

• A level and stable base suitable for the hot tub’s weight and use.
• Clear access routes for the delivery vehicle and unloading equipment. Pathway widths to be a minimum of 50mm wider than the tub's depth. I.e., Tub depth 830mm, pathway width required 880mm minimum. Height restrictions must be at least 200mm above the tub's height when it is on its side. I.e., a tub size of 2100 x 2100 means there is no height restriction below 2300mm.

6. Electrical Supply

13 Amp hot tubs:

• An outdoor RCD-protected socket located 2 to 3 Metres from the hot tub is required and should be connected to the consumer unit with a suitable 2.5mm 3-core heavy-duty outdoor cable with a sealed-on plug.
• The cable supplied must be long enough to extend from the power supply location to the desired location of the hot tub control panel, covering the floor and reaching the tub. It is recommended that you prepare at least 1 metre of extra cable to ensure it can reach the components comfortably.

32 Amp hot tubs:

• Hot tub models powered by a 32-AMP supply must be wired directly into a waterproof, rotary isolator switch.
• A qualified electrician must install an IP65-rated, waterproof isolator located 2 to 3 Metres from the hot tub.
• This should be connected to the consumer unit with a three-core 6mm armoured cable. Connected to the isolator switch should be another 6mm armoured cable, which is long enough to extend from the isolator switch to the floor, across the floor, and around the tub from the power supply to the location where you require the hot tub control panel. 
• We recommend that you prepare at least 1 metre of extra cable to ensure that it can comfortably reach the components.
• The electrical installation should be certified to Part P of the Building Regulations and BS 7671 of the Wiring Regulations. Please have a qualified electrician assess and install the dedicated circuit, isolator, RCD protection, or supply as required for your model.

7. Water supply & drainage

• Ensure there is suitable access to the water supply and, if required, to drainage.
• Please ensure you have read all the manuals in the Resources tab to prepare your Hot tub as efficiently as possible.

8. Delivery & Inspection

• On delivery day, the hot tub will arrive as arranged. This is an all-day appointment, and you will be called approximately one hour before the delivery team's arrival.
• Please inspect the unit immediately for any visible damage or missing parts. Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery to maintain warranty coverage. The hot tub has arrived at your site and is ready for the next step.

9. Installation / Setup

• Full delivery and installation are included as standard.
• Your hot tub will be delivered by our experienced two-person team, who will position it in the agreed location, unwrap and inspect it, assemble the steps, fit any accessories (cover lifter, cover, etc.), and connect it to the pre-installed electrical supply (which must meet our specifications).
• The control box will be tested, and you’ll be guided through the basic operation of your hot tub. We do not wait for the tub to be filled, but if there is any problem starting up, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, and we will endeavour to assist you. All packaging will be removed and taken away by our team.

10. Final Checks & Warranty Validation

Once positioned and ready:

• Ensure all electrical connections have been completed to specification by a qualified electrician.
• Fill the tub with water and ensure that all jets, controls, audio/lighting work correctly.
• Apply any finishing treatments (e.g., protective covers, insulation checks) as required by the manufacturer to maintain warranty coverage.
• Perform a test soak or heat-up to confirm operation.

32 Amp Hot Tub Electrical Requirements

A 32-amp hot tub requires a dedicated electrical setup to operate safely and efficiently.

This includes:

• Dedicated Supply: A 32-amp RCD-protected circuit breaker on its own dedicated supply line.
• Professional Installation: Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Isolation Switch: An isolator switch should be fitted within a visible distance of the hot tub (but not within reach of the water) for maintenance and safety purposes.
• Additional Costs: The electrical installation is not included in the standard purchase price and will incur an additional expense.
• Performance Benefits: The higher power capacity allows multiple pumps and heating elements to operate simultaneously, delivering enhanced performance and a more powerful massage experience — ideal for larger hot tubs.

Warranty Coverage:

• 5-year warranty on the spa's shell structure, covering water loss due to structural failure.
• 1-year warranty on the shell surface, protecting against water loss from material defects such as cracks and peeling.
• 2-year warranty on the Control System and control panel.
• 1-year warranty on electrical equipment components, including pumps and heaters.
• 1-year warranty on the ozone generator.
• 1-year warranty on audio system components.
• 1-year warranty on LED lights (excludes LED bulbs).
• 90-day warranty on basic and optional spa components.

Warranty Limitations:

• The limited warranty excludes damage caused by misuse or improper maintenance.
• Parts exchange or replacement is covered only if faulty parts are returned.
• Guarantee service requires presentation of the original invoice or sales receipt.
• Transport costs and risks are not covered.
• Radio/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi reception is not covered by warranty.
• Various exclusions apply, including chemical misuse, unauthorised alterations, improper use, and the use of unauthorised sanitisers.

At Balance Recovery, we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing one of our hot tubs. Please review the following policy carefully so you understand your rights and our procedures regarding cancellations and returns.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Cooling-Off Period – First 7 Days

From the moment your order is placed, you have 7 days to change your mind for any reason.

During this period, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund to the original payment method.

1.2 Cancellations After 7 Days (Day 8–27)

Because our hot tubs and coolers are bespoke products, cancellations made after day 7 and up to day 27 qualify for a 70% refund of the amount paid.

1.3 After 28 Days

If you cancel 28 days or more after placing your order, the refund amount is limited to 50% of the total order value.

2. Returns (Up to 30 Days After Delivery)

If you're not completely satisfied with your hot tub, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving it.

2.1 Customer-Handled Returns

If you choose to arrange the return yourself, you must:

• Provide clear photos and videos showing the hot tub’s condition.
• Email all evidence with your return request to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk
• Be aware that additional media may be requested, such as a video showing the tub in full working order.

Please note:

• If the courier you select damages or loses the goods, we may be unable to process the 70% refund.
• If the hot tub is damaged but repairable, the repair cost will be deducted from your refund.

2.2 Returning Accessories, Filters & Consumables

For items such as filters, chemicals, cleaning products, stools, covers, and similar accessories:

• Returns are accepted if the items are unused and in their original condition. Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk to request a return.
• Refunds are issued within 2–5 working days once the returned goods have been received and inspected.

2.3 Delivery Charges

If you choose to return a product because you have changed your mind, delivery charges are non-refundable.

3. Important Notes

• All refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.
• Damage caused during a customer-arranged return shipment is not the responsibility of Balance Recovery.
• For bespoke hot tubs, cancellation deductions are applied due to material allocation and production processes already underway.
