2. Manufacture & Preparation

  • Upon order confirmation, your selected hot tub is scheduled for manufacture or allocation. The product is packed to our high standards, incorporating insulation, jets, audio/lighting features, and external finishes, as specified in your selected model. Quality control checks are conducted before dispatch.

3. Delivery Scheduling

  • Once the hot tub is ready, we arrange and notify you of a delivery date to your address.

4. Site Preparation

Before delivery, you will need to prepare:

  • A level and stable base suitable for the hot tub’s weight and use.

5. Electrical Supply

  • Please consult with a qualified electrician who has experience wiring hot tubs
  • An outdoor RCD-protected socket located 2 to 3 Metres from the hot tub is required and should be connected to the consumer unit with a suitable 2.5mm 3-core heavy-duty outdoor cable with a sealed-on plug.
  • The cable supplied must be long enough to extend from the power supply location to the desired location of the hot tub control panel, covering the floor and reaching the tub. It is recommended that you prepare at least 1 metre of extra cable to ensure it can reach the components comfortably.

6. Water supply & drainage

  • Ensure there is suitable access to the water supply and, if required, to drainage.
  • Please ensure you have read all the manuals in the Resources tab to prepare your Hot tub as efficiently as possible.

7. Delivery & Inspection

  • On delivery day, the hot tub will arrive as arranged. This is a kerbside delivery, meaning the driver will place it in the safest kerbside location and ensure safe access requirements are met.
  • Please inspect the unit immediately for any visible damage or missing parts. Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery to maintain warranty coverage. The hot tub has arrived at your site and is ready for the next step.

8. Installation / Setup

  •  The high-quality modular system allows assembly in just 15 minutes, ensuring high stability thanks to the solid outer wall while also providing mobility. The personal wellness oasis is easily controlled via the OLED touch display or the app.

9. Final Checks & Warranty Validation

Once positioned and ready:

  • Ensure all electrical connections have been completed to specification by a qualified electrician.
  • Fill the tub with water and ensure that all jets, controls, audio/lighting work correctly.
  • Apply any finishing treatments (e.g., protective covers, insulation checks) as required by the manufacturer to maintain warranty coverage.
  • Perform a test soak or heat-up to confirm operation.

Electrical Supply - IMPORTANT +

MSpa Hot Tub: Comprehensive Electrical Supply & Safety Standards

To ensure the safety of your home and the optimal performance of your MSpa, please review these mandatory electrical requirements. While the MSpa is a "Plug & Play" system, it is a high-power appliance that requires a specific electrical environment.

1. Unified Technical Specifications

Every model in the current MSpa lineup is engineered to operate on a standard UK domestic 13-Amp circuit.

  • Power Supply: 220V – 240V / 50Hz
  • Maximum Power Draw: 2100W – 2300W (Model dependent)
  • Connection Type: Standard UK 3-Pin Plug (BS 1363)
  • Internal Fuse: 13-Amp (Located within the plug)
  • Cable Length: Approximately 5.1 Metres

2. The "No Extension Lead" Prohibition (Critical)

Under no circumstances should an MSpa be connected to an outlet via an extension lead, multi-way adapter, or timer plug.

The MSpa utilises a high-wattage PTC heating system. Standard domestic extension leads are not rated to carry a continuous 2300W load for extended periods. Using an extension lead poses the following risks:

  • Fire Hazard: Rapid overheating and melting of the extension lead or adapter.
  • Voltage Drop: Insufficient power reaching the control box, causing pump failure or "HEF" error codes.
  • Warranty Voidance: Damage caused by the use of extension leads is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

3. Outdoor Infrastructure Requirements

For safe operation in an outdoor environment, your power outlet must meet the following criteria:

  • Weatherproof Rating (IP66): The socket must have a weatherproof enclosure that allows the cover to be fully closed and latched while the spa is plugged in.
  • Dedicated Wall Socket: We strongly recommend the spa be plugged into a dedicated wall socket. Avoid sharing a double-socket with other high-load items (e.g., patio heaters or electric grills).
  • Placement: The socket should be installed at a height of at least 30cm – 50cm from the ground to prevent water ingress from surface flooding or heavy rain splashes.
  • Safe Proximity: The socket should be at least 2 metres away from the water's edge to comply with safety regulations, but within the 5.1-metre reach of the integrated power cable.

4. Integrated Safety Protection (PRCD)

Your MSpa is fitted with a Portable Residual Current Device (PRCD) integrated into the power lead for user safety.

  • Pre-Use Testing: You must test the PRCD before every use. Press the "RESET" button (indicator turns red) and then the "TEST" button (indicator should turn off). If the device fails this test, do not use the spa.
  • 16A Labelling: You may notice "16A" printed on the PRCD safety switch. This refers to the maximum capacity of the safety component itself; the hot tub remains a standard 13-Amp appliance.

5. Professional Consultation & Liability

While the MSpa is designed for easy installation, the integrity of your home's electrical system is paramount.

  • Electrician's Judgment: If your property’s wiring is dated, or if your outdoor socket shows signs of discolouration or heat damage, you must always defer to the judgment, onsite assessment, and formal calculations of a qualified electrician.
  • Circuit Capacity: An electrician should verify that your outdoor ring main can accommodate a continuous 10-Amp to 13-Amp draw without tripping other household circuits.

Disclaimer: As the equipment supplier, we accept no liability for damage, injury, or product failure resulting from the use of extension leads, faulty domestic wiring, or non-compliant outdoor sockets.

Delivery & Installation +

1. Pre-Delivery Site Check & Preparation

MSpa hot tubs are ingeniously packed and delivered in sturdy boxes, making them highly portable and easy to manoeuvre. However, to ensure a seamless drop-off, we kindly request a quick site check:

  • Site Access Video: Please provide a short video walking the route our delivery courier will take—from the kerbside to your preferred drop-off point.
  • Clearance Checks: Please highlight any narrow garden gates, steep steps, or tight corners. While heavy machinery is not required, the boxes are heavy (often 30kg-50kg+ depending on the model), and our couriers use hand trucks or pallet jacks. Knowing the route ensures they can deliver your hot tub safely.
  • Base Preparation: Prepare a flat, level, and structurally sound base capable of supporting the hot tub's total weight when fully filled with water and occupants (this can exceed 1,000 kg). Good options include concrete, sturdy decking, or reinforced paving.
  • Water & Drainage: Ensure your chosen location has easy access to a garden hose for filling, and consider where the water will drain when it is time to empty the tub.

2. Electrical Supply Requirements (Crucial Safety Information)

MSpa hot tubs are designed for convenience, with the vast majority operating as "Plug & Play" systems on a standard UK 13-Amp electrical supply. However, because water and electricity are a dangerous combination, strict safety guidelines must be followed:

  • Plug & Play System: Your MSpa comes with a factory-fitted cable featuring a built-in PRCD (Portable Residual Current Device) to protect against electrical faults.
  • Outdoor Socket Specification: The hot tub must be plugged directly into a professionally installed, IP66-rated weatherproof outdoor socket. The socket must be permanently wired to your home's consumer unit and protected by an RCD.
  • Strictly No Extension Leads: Under no circumstances should you use an extension cable, multi-plug adaptor, or standard indoor socket routed through a window. Extension cables cause voltage drops that can permanently damage the hot tub's heater and pump, and they pose a severe fire and electrocution risk. This will void your warranty.
  • Professional Consultation: Because a hot tub draws a continuous high load (typically 2000W - 2300W when the heater and bubbles are running), we strongly advise consulting a qualified electrician. They will assess your home's current electrical load and install a dedicated outdoor socket located at a safe distance (usually 2 to 3 metres) from the tub to ensure safe, uninterrupted use.

3. Delivery Day Logistics

Once your hot tub is dispatched from our warehouse, we will notify you of your delivery date.

  • Kerbside / Doorstep Delivery: Your hot tub will arrive securely boxed via a courier or pallet network. The driver will place the box in the safest, most accessible ground-level location at your property.
  • Inspection: Upon arrival, please inspect the box immediately for any severe visible transit damage.
  • Reporting: Any physical damage to the box or the unit inside must be reported to our team within 24 hours of delivery to ensure your warranty coverage remains valid.

4. Setup & Installation

The MSPA features a high-quality, user-friendly design that allows for incredibly fast assembly without professional tools.

  • Quick Assembly: Depending on your specific model (inflatable or rigid-wall modular), the outer tub can usually be set up and inflated/assembled in just 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Electrical Connection: Once assembled, plug the unit directly into your dedicated IP66 outdoor socket. Test the PRCD on the plug (using the Test/Reset buttons) before filling.
  • Filling & Testing: Fill the tub with water from your garden hose up to the marked minimum/maximum line. Do not turn the heating or bubble functions on until the water has reached the correct level.
  • Smart Controls: Once filled, use the wired control panel or the MSpa mobile app (on supported models) to activate the heater, filter, and jets.

5. Final Checks & Warranty Validation

To complete your setup:

  • Filter Installation: Ensure the filter cartridge is correctly attached to the water inlet before running the pump.
  • Insulation & Covers: Apply the provided insulated bladder and protective top cover while the water heats up. This drastically reduces heating time and energy costs.
  • Manuals: Please ensure you have read all the manuals provided in the Resources tab of our website to operate and chemically treat your hot tub safely and efficiently.

Your hot tub is now ready for use! Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Should you have any questions regarding operation, water chemistry, or spare parts, our support team is always here to help.
