Consultation and Product Selection

• Your journey begins with a personal consultation with the Sales Director of Balance Recovery and the CEO of KUUT.
• During this session, everything is covered from A-Z, from choosing the right sauna model to answering any questions you may have.
• Together, you’ll explore your space, lifestyle, and wellness goals to ensure you find the perfect KUUT sauna for your home. This personalised approach guarantees that every customer receives expert guidance and clarity before placing an order.

1. Choose & Order

• Start by selecting your preferred model, such as the “L with Shower,” from the KUUT sauna range. Once you place your order, you’ll receive an estimated delivery timeframe, usually around 8–10 weeks.
• While waiting, prepare your site by ensuring you have a level, solid base (for example, a concrete pad or paved area) and clear access for delivery. You’ll also need to plan your electrical connection and, if applicable, water and drainage points for the shower version.

2. Manufacture & Pre-Assembly

• Each KUUT sauna is crafted from high-quality Nordic timber, tempered glass, and premium components, including a Finnish electric heater.
• The sauna is fully assembled at the factory, so when it arrives, all major construction work is already complete. This ensures a clean and consistent build, making installation fast and straightforward.

3. Delivery to Your Home

• Your sauna will arrive fully assembled and delivered to your property by truck. Depending on your site access, a forklift or crane may be needed to move it into position.
• Unloading is not included in the price. The customer is responsible for arranging unloading and positioning. Some suppliers can provide this service for an additional charge if required.
• Before delivery, ensure there is clear access for the truck and sufficient space to manoeuvre the sauna into your garden or chosen area.

4. Site Preparation & Connections

• It’s essential to have a level, sturdy base ready before delivery. The sauna must sit on a firm surface that can support its full weight.
• All electrical work is the customer’s responsibility. You will need to arrange a qualified electrician to connect the sauna safely to your mains supply.
• For shower models, you must also have suitable water supply and drainage connections in place before installation. These services are not included in the sauna price and should be completed before delivery to ensure a smooth setup.

5. Installation & Final Setup

• Once delivered and positioned, the sauna can be connected to electricity and, for the shower version, to water and drainage.
• The design is “plug and play,” meaning minimal on-site assembly is required. However, all electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified professional to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• If you prefer, professional installation and connection services can be arranged for an additional cost.

6. Using Your Sauna

• Switch on the control unit to activate the heater. The sauna will warm up quickly, providing a relaxing, spa-like experience without the need for firewood.
• Shower models combine sauna heat with a built-in shower area, allowing you to alternate between hot and cold for complete wellness benefits.
• The interior features premium natural wood, glass panels, and ergonomic benches, ensuring comfort and ease of maintenance.

7. Aftercare

• Regular cleaning and maintenance will keep your sauna in top condition. Wipe benches and glass panels after each use and ensure the heater remains free from debris.

• For shower models, you can switch between the sauna and the shower for the whole spa experience—all from the comfort of your own garden.
• The KUUT outdoor sauna is designed to be simple to install, easy to use, and built to last for years in your home.

• The KUUT Electrical Outdoor Sauna comes equipped with a Harvia Cilindro Plus electric heater, made in Finland. This premium electric heater is specifically designed for high-quality home saunas, delivering fast and even heating throughout the cabin.
• The Cilindro Plus holds a large number of sauna stones, allowing you to pour water over them to create gentle steam and soft, relaxing heat — just like a traditional Finnish sauna.
• Each unit includes a digital control panel (usually the Harvia Xafir CS110 or Xenio CX110), letting you easily set and monitor temperature and session duration with the touch of a button. Because the sauna is fully electric, there is no need for wood, smoke, or ventilation — connect it to your home’s electrical supply and enjoy consistent, efficient heat.
• For safety, every heater features a protective safety rail and built-in overheat protection, ensuring reliable and worry-free operation.

*Important: All electrical wiring, cabling, and final connections are the customer’s responsibility and must be carried out by a qualified electrician in full compliance with UK electrical regulations. The sauna must be connected to a dedicated power supply that meets the heater’s specifications. Failure to do so may void the warranty and compromise safety.

• The KUUT Electrical Outdoor Sauna L is powered by a 9 kW Harvia Cilindro Plus electric heater, controlled through a Harvia Xafir CS110 digital control unit.
• This sauna requires a dedicated electrical supply, suitable for a 9 kW load. The system may operate on either single-phase (230 V) or three-phase (400 V) power, depending on your property’s setup. Your electrician will determine which option is appropriate based on your home’s electrical capacity.
• All electrical wiring, cabling, and final connections are the customer’s responsibility and must be completed by a qualified electrician in full compliance with UK electrical safety regulations.

Before installation, your electrician should ensure:

• A dedicated circuit is available for the sauna heater.
• The correct breaker, fuse, and cable sizes are used for a 9 kW system.
• All connections are made in accordance with current UK standards (BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations).
• Outdoor-rated wiring and protective devices (RCD/MCB) are used where required.
• Lighting, control units, and auxiliary connections (such as the shower) are designed for standard outdoor IP-rated connections and may use a 16 A IP44 plug as specified by KUUT.
• All electrical installation work must be certified and tested before the sauna is used. Improper or uncertified wiring can void the warranty and may pose a safety risk.

Kuut saunas are delivered fully assembled. To protect the sauna’s base frame, it is recommended to install the sauna above ground level. Place a water-resistant material, such as bitumen strips, between the base frame and the surface to prevent direct contact with the ground.

Assembled Deliveries:

Assembled saunas cannot be offloaded by hand. Depending on access, you have three options: forklift, HIAB, or crane.

• Forklift: If there is enough space to move the sauna from the truck to its final position, a forklift is the most cost-effective option.
• HIAB: For lifting the sauna over a fence or wall near the road, a HIAB is a practical and affordable choice.
• Crane: If your sauna’s final position is far from the road and lacks forklift access, a crane will be necessary.

• Please note that the warranty does not cover natural variations in wood grain or colour, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damage caused by misuse, neglect, or environmental factors.

Returns and Refunds Policy for Made-to-Order Saunas

We take pride in delivering high-quality, made-to-order saunas designed to meet your unique specifications. Because each sauna is individually crafted, our returns and refund policy reflects the bespoke nature of these products.

Why Returns Are Limited for Made-to-Order Saunas

Each sauna is custom-built according to specific customer requirements. As these items cannot be resold or restocked, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once the production process has begun.

Please review all details of your order carefully before confirming, including dimensions, features, and finishes.

• Our Policy in Detail: Customisation Acknowledgement: By placing an order, you acknowledge that your sauna is a bespoke product created to your specifications.
• Non-Returnable Items: Once production has commenced, cancellations, returns, or refunds are not permitted unless the product arrives defective or damaged.
• Damaged or Faulty Products: If your sauna arrives with visible damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will assess the issue and may provide a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Order Review

We strongly recommend verifying all measurements and customisation details before confirming your order.

• Right to Cancel (Before Fabrication): You may cancel your order before fabrication begins, subject to an administrative fee.
• Relevant Consumer Laws: This policy is designed in accordance with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and accurately described. If your sauna fails to meet these standards, we will take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
• Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order items are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period for online purchases. However, your rights remain protected if the product is faulty or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
