Holl’s Purewave 2 | 2-Person Dual Healthy Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna

The Holl’s Purewave 2 (HL-PW02) is the 2026 definitive choice for high-fidelity, compact infrared therapy. Engineered to deliver a bespoke recovery experience, this 130 x 110 cm cabin features Dual Healthy technology, allowing users to toggle between Quartz emitters for instant, deep-tissue muscle repair and Magnesium emitters for cellular-level detoxification. Crafted from high-density Canadian Spruce with premium Abachi wood interior fittings, the Purewave 2 combines sophisticated thermal engineering with a luxury "Art of Living" aesthetic.

With a focused 2250W power output, the Purewave 2 provides 360-degree infrared immersion without the need for high-voltage industrial wiring. Featuring a Dual-Action Ioniser, Bluetooth resonance audio, and 7-colour LED chromotherapy, it is a complete sensory sanctuary designed for daily physical and mental resetting.

Why the Purewave 2 is the 2026 Benchmark for Home Recovery:

1. Dual Healthy Full-Spectrum Emitters (x5)

The Purewave 2 utilises an advanced 5-panel array to cover the entire infrared spectrum:

  • Quartz Mode (IR-A / IR-B): Delivers intense, penetrating heat that reaches the subcutaneous layers, ideal for stimulating blood flow and accelerating recovery after intense exercise.
  • Magnesium Mode (IR-C): Provides a gentler, ambient heat that induces heavy sweating for effective detoxification and skin purification.
  • Total Immersion Architecture: The emitters are strategically positioned to provide uniform coverage, ensuring no "cold spots" even in a compact cabin.

2. Premium Abachi Wood Ergonomics

While the exterior features robust Canadian Spruce, the touchpoints are designed for 2026 luxury standards:

  • Abachi Bench & Headrest: This rare, knot-free timber is prized in sauna engineering for its low thermal conductivity. Even when the cabin reaches its peak, the Abachi remains comfortably cool to the touch.
  • Solid Canadian Spruce Exterior: Backed by an industry-leading 10-year wood warranty, the high-altitude spruce ensures the cabin remains dimensionally stable and airtight.

3. Integrated "Bio-Atmosphere" Suite

  • Dual-Action Ioniser: Unlike standard saunas, the Purewave 2 actively purifies its own environment, eliminating odours and enriching the air with negative ions for a more "dynamic," mountain-fresh breathing experience.
  • Resonance Audio & Smart Control: A central touchscreen manages your Bluetooth/MP3 audio via hidden resonance speakers, allowing the music to vibrate through the wood for a tactile acoustic experience.
  • 7-Colour Chromotherapy: Specialised LED frequencies help regulate your circadian rhythm—use Red for energy and Blue for evening relaxation.

  • Space Optimisation: With a footprint of just 1.43 square meters, it is ideal for master suites, walk-in dressing rooms, or converted home offices.
  • Floor Prep: As an infrared unit, the Purewave 2 does not generate steam or moisture. It can be safely installed on any level interior surface, including luxury vinyl tile (LVT), hardwood, or low-pile carpet.
  • Zero-Contact Cooling: The secured glass door and large wooden handle ensure the heat is retained perfectly while the exterior remains safe for placement against walls.

Holl’s & France Sauna Buying Guide

Ensuring a Smooth, Safe, and Professional Sauna Delivery Experience. This guide outlines the complete process from placing your order to installation, safety checks, and aftercare. Following these steps will help ensure a seamless delivery and setup of your Holl’s Sauna or France Sauna, whether you are installing it at home or in a professional wellness environment.

1. Place Your Order

  • Choose your preferred Holl’s Sauna or France Sauna model — whether infrared, traditional indoor, hybrid, or outdoor. Complete your purchase on our website by providing your delivery address.
  • The price listed includes delivery within mainland UK (exclusions include the Channel Islands, areas of Scotland, and Ireland).
  • You will receive an order confirmation email immediately with your order details, estimated delivery timeframe, and next steps.
  • To ensure smooth access on the day of delivery, we may request photos or a short video of the delivery area, access routes, or surrounding space.
  • This helps our logistics team confirm the feasibility of delivery and kerbside unloading requirements.
  • All saunas are held in our UK warehouse and prepared for dispatch once your order is confirmed. Kerbside delivery and unloading are included at no additional cost.

2. Order Processing & Preparation

  • Once your order is confirmed, your sauna is scheduled for preparation and dispatch.
  • Our saunas are crafted from premium-grade wood, selected for durability, insulation, and aesthetic quality.
  • All components — including the cabin structure, benches, glazing, and heating elements — are prepared, quality checked, and securely packaged for shipment.

3. Delivery Organisation

When your sauna is ready, we organise pallet delivery of the flat-pack components to your address (kerbside).

You will be notified of:

  • Delivery date
  • Estimated time window
  • Any access requirements (e.g., suitable driveway space for pallet trucks)
  • Your sauna is dispatched directly from our UK warehouse, and unloading is included at no additional charge.

4. Pre-Installation Preparation

Before delivery, please ensure:

  • A suitable foundation
  • The base must be level, stable, and capable of supporting the sauna’s full weight, including that of its occupants.
  • Clear access
  • Access routes should be unobstructed to facilitate the movement of pallets and components.
  • Electrical Preparation (Customer’s Responsibility)
  • All electrical work is entirely the customer’s responsibility.

Requirements vary depending on the model and the layout of your property.

You must:

  • Arrange for a qualified electrician prior to installation.
  • Check the electrical specifications listed on the product page.
  • Ensure correct cable sizing, breaker and isolator selection, and compliance with UK electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
  • Provide your electrician with the manufacturer’s electrical manual in advance.
  • Where possible, have the electrician present on installation day.
  • Important: Failure to use a qualified electrician or failure to meet the required electrical standards may void the warranty.
  • Each product page includes an Electrical Supply section for further clarification.

If self-assembling:

  • Review the assembly manual provided with your order.
  • Prepare the necessary tools and sufficient manpower in advance.

5. Delivery & Unloading

On the scheduled delivery day:

  • Your sauna arrives on a pallet
  • Our delivery team unloads the pallet (via pump truck/trolley where possible)
  • Components are placed at your designated kerbside or base area

Once delivered, please:

  • Unpack all components
  • Check for missing or damaged parts
  • Report any issues within 24 hours to maintain warranty eligibility

6. Installation / Assembly

Professional Installation (Optional)

  • If you choose professional installation, our experienced carpenters will assemble your sauna within one full day.

What Our Team Does:

  • Full assembly of the sauna build only
  • Correct fitting of all internal components (no electrical hookup)
  • Final checks to ensure the sauna is ready for commissioning
  • Installation quotes can be requested directly from the product page. Pricing varies by model; we do not charge for travel.

Self-Assembly (Flat-Pack)

If you prefer to self-assemble:

  • Follow the detailed instruction manual
  • Assembly usually takes 1–2 days, depending on experience
  • Electrical Connection (Customer’s Responsibility)
  • All wiring, final electrical connection, and compliance with UK standards must be carried out by a qualified electrician appointed by the customer.

This includes:

  • Correct cable sizing
  • Safe heater connection
  • Isolation switch requirements
  • Certification of the installation
  • Incorrect or uncertified electrical work will void the warranty.

7. Finishing Touches & Safety Check

Once assembled:

  • Apply a breathable oil-based finish to interior and exterior wood surfaces (required for warranty validity)
  • Confirm the structure is level and stable
  • Check all doors, glazing, and ventilation
  • After wiring is complete, perform a first heat-up test
  • Obtain any required electrical certification from your electrician

8. Enjoy Your Sauna & Ongoing Support

Your sauna is now ready to use.

Please remember:

  • Self-assembled saunas carry a 1-year manufacturer's parts warranty

IMPORTANT: NOTICE TO THE PROPERTY OWNER

Owner’s Brief for the Holl’s Purewave 2 (2-Person)

The Purewave 2 draws approximately 9.8 Amps. While this is below the 13A limit of a standard UK plug, the sauna is a continuous load device (running for 30–60 minutes at a time).

THE GOLDEN RULE: We strongly recommend a dedicated socket (no other appliances running on that specific outlet). If your home has older wiring or if you prefer the cleanest look, your electrician may suggest hardwiring the unit to a 16A or 20A circuit.

1. Power Infrastructure Requirements

The Purewave 2 powers 5 Dual Healthy emitters, the touchscreen, the Ionizer, and the audio system simultaneously.

Pre-wired

  • Circuit Compatibility: Ensure the socket you use is not on a "daisy-chained" extension lead. NEVER use a multi-way adapter or a thin extension cable, as these will overheat and fail.
  • Socket Condition: If using a standard socket, ensure it is in good condition with no visible discolouration. A loose or old socket can cause arcing at 9.8A.

2. Safety & Digital Components

  • RCD Protection: The circuit must be protected by a 30mA RCD. This is non-negotiable for any sauna environment to protect the user and the digital touchscreen.
  • Ioniser & Air Flow: The Ioniser works by releasing negative ions to purify the air. Ensure the electrician or installer does not block the Ioniser's vent when positioning the sauna against a wall.
  • Surge Protection: Because the Purewave features a central touchscreen control panel, it is more sensitive to power surges than manual models. A surge-protected circuit is highly recommended to protect the digital logic boards.

3. Audio Resonance & Emitter Wiring

  • Resonance Speaker: Unlike traditional speakers, this unit vibrates the Spruce walls to create sound. The wiring is low-voltage; ensure it is snapped into the control hub securely to prevent "static" or audio dropouts.
  • Dual Healthy Toggle: The control panel manages the power distribution between Quartz and Magnesium. Your electrician should verify that the panel initialises correctly and that all 5 emitters respond to the intensity adjustments.

4. Commissioning

  • First Heat Test: Monitor the plug and socket for the first 30 minutes. They should be warm, but never hot to the touch.
  • Certification: If you choose to have the unit hardwired, ensure your electrician provides a Minor Works Certificate to validate your 2-year electronics warranty.

Owner’s Electrical Action Plan

  1. Identify Power Source: Locate a dedicated wall socket within 2 meters of the sauna's rear/top entry point.
  2. Verify RCD: Check your consumer unit to ensure the "Sockets" or "Sauna" circuit is RCD protected.
  3. Touchscreen Test: Ensure the Bluetooth pairs and the 7-colour LED Chromotherapy cycles through the full spectrum without flickering.Ioniser Check: Confirm you can
  4. hear the faint hum or smell the "fresh" air generated by the dual-action ioniser.
Delivery & Installation +

Delivery & Installation Protocol: Holl's Purewave 2

HL-PW02 | 2-Person Dual Healthy Infrared Cabin

The Purewave 2 is a "Plug & Play" style unit, but its sophisticated touchscreen interface and resonance audio system require precise assembly to ensure all electronic connections are secure.

1. Receipt & "Elegance" Audit (Mandatory)

  • The 24-Hour Inspection Rule: Unbox and inspect the secured glass door, the 5 Dual Healthy emitters, and the Abachi headrests within 24 hours.

  • Surface Check: Inspect the Canadian Spruce exterior for any transit scuffs. Because the Purewave is a "rare elegance" model, aesthetic perfection is part of the product's value.

  • Component Inventory: Confirm the inclusion of the Dual-action Ioniser, the touchscreen control panel, and the Bluetooth resonance speakers.

2. Site Preparation: The 130x110 Wellness Nook

  • The Surface: The 130 x 110 cm base must be perfectly level. Even in a small unit, an unlevel floor can cause the glass door to misalign, preventing the magnetic seal from closing properly.
  • Environment: This is an Indoor Sauna. It must be placed in a dry, ventilated room. The touchscreen and ioniser are sensitive to high ambient humidity or freezing temperatures.
  • Airflow: Maintain a small gap (2-5cm) between the cabin walls and the room walls to allow the electronics to breathe

3. Installation Pathway: The High-Tech Assembly

Pathway A: Professional Installation (Recommended)

  • Audio/Digital Sync: Professionals will ensure the touchscreen panel is calibrated and the resonance speakers are mounted to provide optimal acoustic vibration through the Spruce walls.

  • Ioniser Placement: Correct installation of the Dual-action Ioniser to ensure active air purification during sessions.

Pathway B: Self-Assembly (2 Person Task)

  • Panel Connection: The Purewave utilises a buckle or interlocking system. Ensure the panels are flush before locking to protect the internal wiring channels.
  • Wiring the Emitters: Follow the colour-coded "Plug & Play" connectors for the 5 Dual Healthy panels. Test each connection before installing the Abachi benches.
  • Glass Handling: The secured glass door is heavy. Use two people to align the hinges to avoid stressing the glass corners.

4. Commissioning & "Pure" Calibration

  • The First Run: Heat the cabin to 45°C for 45 minutes with the door open to clear manufacturing dust and activate the Ioniser.
  • Digital Interface Test: Test the touchscreen controls for session programming, Bluetooth pairing, and the 7-colour LED Chromotherapy.
  • Emitter Toggle: Verify that you can switch between Quartz (intense heat for joints) and Magnesium (gentler heat for skin/detox) via the control panel.

Installation Readiness Checklist

  •  Inspection: All 5 emitters and the glass door checked within 24 hours?

  •  Floor: Level 130x110cm area ready?

  • Power: Standard 230v socket available (dedicated circuit strongly recommended)?

  • Access: Clear path to the room of choice (flat-pack panels)?

  •  Team: 2 adults ready for assembly?

Holl’s Purewave 2: Warranty Statement

HL-PW02 | Dual Healthy Infrared Protection Terms

The Purewave 2 is a high-performance, elegant wellness cabin. To protect your 10-year wood warranty and 2-year electronics coverage, the following professional care and installation standards are required.

1. Warranty Duration

Holl’s provides a robust guarantee for this refined 2-person model:

  • Wood Structure: 10-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects, structural failure, or rot of the Canadian Spruce and Abachi wood.
  • Electronics: 2-Year Warranty covering the 5 Dual Healthy emitters, central touchscreen control panel, Bluetooth resonance audio system, and the Dual-action Ionizer.
  • Usage: These terms apply strictly to private domestic indoor installations.

2. Conditions for Validity

To maintain your coverage, these technical and environmental conditions are mandatory:

  • Power Integrity: While the Purewave 2 draws 9.8 Amps, it must be connected to a high-quality, dedicated wall socket. The use of extension leads, multi-way adapters, or "smart plugs" is strictly prohibited and will void the 2-year electronics warranty due to the risk of voltage fluctuations and overheating.
  • Touchscreen Care: The central control panel is a sensitive digital interface. Damage caused by high-pressure cleaning, chemical solvents, or excessive moisture (pouring water in the cabin) is not covered under warranty.
  • Indoor Climate: This unit is an electronic instrument. Installation in unheated, damp, or outdoor environments (including uninsulated garden rooms) will void both the wood and electronics warranties. The Spruce and digital boards require a stable, dry indoor temperature.

3. The 24-Hour Inspection Rule (Glass & Digital)

  • Secured Glass: You must unbox and inspect the glass door and the 5 infrared emitter covers for transit damage within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Touchscreen Check: Power on the unit immediately to ensure the touchscreen responds to touch and the LED display is free of "dead pixels" or transit-related fractures.
  • Hand-Finished Spruce: Inspect the exterior Spruce for any deep gouges or structural cracks reported within the 24-hour window.

4. Material Integrity & Care

  • Breathable Wood Finish: To maintain the 10-year warranty, you must apply a breathable oil-based finish to the exterior Spruce. This prevents the wood from drying or warping.
  • Abachi Components: The interior Abachi benches and headrests should be kept raw or treated with specific sauna-safe paraffin oil. Never use varnish or gloss paint, as these release toxic fumes at infrared temperatures and void the warranty.
  • Ionizer Maintenance: The Dual-action Ionizer should be kept free of dust. Failure to clean the ionizer intake can lead to fan burnout, which is considered a maintenance issue rather than a manufacturing defect.

5. Claims Procedure

In the event of a technical or structural issue:

  1. Documentation: Provide your original purchase record and the GTIN/Model name (HL-PW02).
  2. Visual Evidence: Clear photos of the touchscreen error code (if applicable), the installation site, and the specific defect.
  3. Electrical Context: Details of the power source (e.g., dedicated wall socket) will be required for any emitter or control board claims.

Warranty Validity Checklist

  • Inspection: Reported any transit damage to the glass or touchscreen within 24 hours?
  •  Environment: Is the sauna in a temperature-controlled indoor room?
  • Power: Is the unit plugged directly into a dedicated wall socket (no extensions)?
  • Wood Care: Has a breathable oil-based finish been applied to the exterior Spruce?
