1. Place Your Order

• The price listed includes delivery within mainland UK (exclusions include the Channel Islands, areas of Scotland, and Ireland).
• You will receive an order confirmation email immediately with your order details, estimated delivery timeframe, and next steps.
• To ensure smooth access on the day of delivery, we may request photos or a short video of the delivery area, access routes, or surrounding space. 
• This helps our logistics team confirm the feasibility of delivery and kerbside unloading requirements.
• All saunas are held in our UK warehouse and prepared for dispatch once your order is confirmed. Kerbside delivery and unloading are included at no additional cost.

2. Order Processing & Preparation

• Once your order is confirmed, your sauna is scheduled for preparation and dispatch.
• Our saunas are crafted from premium-grade wood, selected for durability, insulation, and aesthetic quality.
• All components — including the cabin structure, benches, glazing, and heating elements — are prepared, quality checked, and securely packaged for shipment.

3. Delivery Organisation

When your sauna is ready, we organise pallet delivery of the flat-pack components to your address (kerbside).

You will be notified of:

• Delivery date
• Estimated time window
• Any access requirements (e.g., suitable driveway space for pallet trucks)
• Your sauna is dispatched directly from our UK warehouse, and unloading is included at no additional charge.

4. Pre-Installation Preparation

Before delivery, please ensure:

• A suitable foundation
• The base must be level, stable, and capable of supporting the sauna’s full weight, including that of its occupants.
• Clear access
• Access routes should be unobstructed to facilitate the movement of pallets and components.

Responsibility: It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the electrical infrastructure (the wall socket and the ring-main circuit) is capable of handling this continuous load. We strongly recommend a "Socket Integrity Check" by a Registered Electrician prior to first use.

1. Power Consumption & The "Sustained Load" Factor

Unlike a kettle or a toaster, which draws high power for 2–3 minutes, a sauna draws high power continuously for 30 to 60 minutes. This creates heat in the house wiring and the plug itself.

• Dedicated Socket Mandatory: The unit must be plugged directly into a single, permanent wall socket.
• The "No Extension" Rule: You must not use extension leads, multi-plug adapters, or "daisy-chained" power strips. Most household extension leads are only rated for 10A or 13A peak, and sustained use at 10A can cause the cable to overheat, melt, or cause an electrical fire.

Every Holl's Moon 2 delivery must follow these safety steps:

• The 24-Hour Inspection Rule: You must unbox and inspect the 8mm tempered glass door and all black-finished wood panels within 24 hours of delivery.
• Cosmetic Reporting: Any transit damage must be reported immediately. Once assembly begins, the unit is considered accepted in its current condition.
• Storage: Keep all panels in a dry, indoor room. Do not store the FSC Hemlock in a damp garage or outdoors, as this will cause the wood to expand before it can be correctly fitted.

2. Choosing Your Installation Pathway

• The Build: Unlike the 1-person model, the Moon 2 is a 2 to 3-person task. The larger 130cm curved panels require additional support to hold the arc while the "Fast-Click" system is engaged.
• Precision: A spirit level is mandatory. Because of the larger diameter, any floor slope is magnified, which will cause the roof panel to misalign.

1. Warranty Duration

Holl’s (Poolstar) provides a tiered warranty for the Moon 2-Person model:

• Wood Structure: 10-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects, structural failure, or major warping of the FSC-certified Hemlock.
• Electrical Components: 2-Year Warranty covering the 6 Carbon panels, 2 Quartz Full Spectrum heaters, Control Hub, Bluetooth audio, and LED systems.
• Usage: This warranty is valid for private domestic use only.

2. Conditions for Validity

To keep your 10-year structural and 2-year electrical warranty active, the following conditions must be met:

• Indoor Environment: The unit is strictly for indoor use in a dry, ventilated, and heated room. Placement in a damp garage, uninsulated garden room, or near an open shower will void the warranty due to the risk of wood expansion and electrical corrosion.
• Level Flooring: Due to the large Ø 130 cm base, the floor must be perfectly level. Structural damage or door misalignment caused by a sloping floor is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.
• Direct Power Connection: The sauna must be plugged directly into a permanent wall socket. Any electrical damage or component failure caused by the use of extension leads or multi-plug adapters will void the 2-year electrical warranty.

3. The 24-Hour Inspection Rule (Fragile Components)

5. Claims Procedure

If a fault occurs:

• Contact Support: Provide your Balance Recovery invoice and the GTIN (HL-MOON2-BLK).
• Evidence: You will be required to provide photos of the fault and the electrical connection (to confirm no extension lead was used).
• App Diagnostics: If your issue is electronic, ensure your sauna is connected to 2.4 GHz WiFi to allow for potential remote firmware updates and diagnostics.

Returns and Refund Policy

At any time after submitting your order online or by telephone and up to 14 days following the date you receive the items from us (“Cooling Off Period”) you decide you no longer want an item, we will be happy to exchange the item or give you a full refund provided that you notify our After Sales team at any time before the Cooling Off Period ends by post or email that you wish to cancel the item and, where the item has already been delivered, it must be returned to us ‘as new’ – unused and complete in the original packaging.

If at the time of cancellation the item has already been dispatched or delivered to you, you must return the cancelled item to us (at your own cost) in accordance with our returns policy. Please package the item securely and return it to us together with the original delivery note.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations require refunds to be made within 14 days of the date the customer sends notice of cancellation.

If you are purchasing an item from Balance Recovery by distance means (whether online or via telephone) as a business and not as a consumer, items may only be returned for a refund at Balance Recovery’s discretion; non-stock items are subject to a restocking charge of 25% of the relevant order value. Custom-manufactured items may not be refundable.

If you wish to cancel an item you have ordered, please notify our After-Sales team by email. As we process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an item from being dispatched.

We will refund the reasonable costs you incur in returning the following items to us:

• Items we delivered to you in error
• Items which are faulty or damaged upon delivery
• Items which are substitutes for items originally ordered

We ask that you send us copies of receipts for such costs.

In all other circumstances (including where you cancel an item during the Cooling-Off Period), you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Suppose we do not receive the original item back from you, together with the original delivery note. In that case, we may arrange for the collection of the item from the delivery address and may recover from you the charges (not exceeding direct costs) we incur in doing so. Until you return items to us, you are responsible for their safekeeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap items adequately to prevent damage.

Faulty or Damaged Items

• If the item/s you ordered are damaged or have parts missing upon receipt, provided you inform our After Sales team within 48 hours of receiving the items (supplying them with the reference details shown on the delivery documentation together with details of the damage or missing items and pictures of any damage), we will offer a replacement or a refund.
• If the item(s) you ordered are faulty upon receipt or fail within the first 30 days, we will collect the defective item(s) and offer a replacement or a refund.
• We will typically collect damaged or faulty items within the first 30 days after receipt of the goods. Please contact our After Sales team before returning damaged or defective goods. Refunds will be credited only to the payment method used for the original purchase.
