2. Preparation Checklist: The Foundation

Even though the Panorama S has a compact footprint, the weight is concentrated.

• The Calculation: The build weighs 323kg. With 4 occupants and a 9kW heater with stones, the base must support a "Live Load."
• Our Recommendation: Your foundation (concrete, paving, or reinforced decking) must be able to withstand 1,000kg.
• The Level Rule: Because of the massive glass front, the base must be perfectly level. Any slight tilt puts pressure on the glass panels and prevents the door from sealing properly.

2. Control Pathway Configuration

Please identify which proposal has been selected, as the wiring topography differs:

• Proposal 1: Harvia Xenio Fenix 110 (External Digital)
• The Setup: A power unit is mounted externally (in a dry location).
• Wiring: Requires data cable runs between the digital touch panel and the power unit, and high-temp silicone wiring from the power unit to the heater and sensors.
• Proposal 2: Integrated Manual Control
• The Setup: Controls are located on the heater unit itself.
• Wiring: The mains power feed is wired directly into the heater’s internal terminal block.

3. Mandatory Material Standard: SiHF-JB

Because the Panorama S generates intense heat very quickly, standard PVC-insulated cabling is strictly prohibited.

• The Requirement: All wiring entering the sauna (for the 9kW heater, sensors, and the protective lamp) must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone-insulated cable (rated to 180°C).

• Levelling: The foundation must be perfectly level. We cannot "shim" the glass front; if the base is uneven, the door will not align, and heat will escape.

4. Installation Service Pathways

Pathway B: Self-Assembly (Independent Contractors)

• Your Contractor's Responsibility: Your team handles the assembly using the provided Harvia technical manuals.
• Warranty: Includes a 1-Year Parts-Only Warranty. Your contractor is responsible for the structural alignment and labour.

5. Mandatory Post-Install Steps (Warranty Activation)

To validate your warranty for either pathway, two steps must be completed:

1. The 7-Day Preservation Seal: You must apply a high-quality breathable wood oil to all Spruce surfaces within 7 days. This prevents the timber from drying out or warping under the intense heat of the 9kW system.

1. Two Levels of Protection

• Professional Tier (2-Year Comprehensive): Valid when the Balance Recovery Team performs the installation. This covers the structural alignment of the glass and timber, the hardware mounting, and the Harvia electrical suite.
• Self-Assembly Tier (1-Year Parts-Only): Valid for independent builds. We guarantee the quality of every Harvia component and Spruce timber panel we ship. Your chosen contractor is responsible for the build quality and alignment.

2. The Harvia 9.0kW Heating System

As the heart of your sauna, the Harvia heater is built to world-class standards. We break the warranty down into two parts:

• The Heater & Control Hub (2 Years): We guarantee the heater’s stainless steel body, the internal circuitry, and the Fenix 110 Digital Hub (if selected) against manufacturing defects.
• The Heating Elements (12 Months): These are the core components that generate the heat. They are guaranteed for 12 months of residential use.
• The "Stone Rule": For the elements to stay healthy, you must use the provided Finnish sauna stones and stack them loosely according to the manual. Packing stones too tightly restricts airflow and causes elements to overheat, which can void this portion of the cover.

3. The Panorama Glass & Spruce Timber

• Glass Alignment: Because the Panorama S features a full-glass front, the warranty on the door seal and glass tension is tied directly to the Level Foundation requirement.
• The Nature of Spruce: Solid Spruce is a living material. Under the intense heat of a 9kW heater, you may notice minor surface cracks or resin beads. These are not defects; they are the "fingerprints" of an authentic timber sauna.
• Preservation: You must apply a breathable wood oil within 7 days to lock in your timber warranty.

4. Electrical Compliance

To protect the Harvia hardware and your home, the electrical warranty is only active if:

1. Your electrician provides an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

At Balance Recovery, we supply premium Harvia products built to order. Because Harvia items are manufactured specifically to each customer's requirements, our returns and refunds policy reflects their specialised, made-to-order nature. Your statutory rights are preserved in full throughout.

1. Eligibility — The Made-to-Order Nature of Your Purchase

• Made to Order: Harvia products are made to order and enter production once your order is confirmed.
• Non-Refundable Once Production Begins: Because each item is commissioned specifically for you, orders are non-refundable once production has begun. We cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind" from that point.
• Special Orders, Saunas and Hot Tubs: Special orders, saunas and hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before production begins.
• Once Production Begins: After production has started, the order is non-refundable and cancellations cannot be facilitated.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released to manufacture.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the made-to-order exemption above.
