Harvia Panorama Small Indoor Sauna | Premium Glass-Front Finnish Cabin

Elevate your urban residence or modern home with the Harvia Panorama Small, a masterclass in Finnish sauna engineering designed specifically for high-end UK interiors. The Panorama Small (PANORAMA-S) bridges the gap between compact space-saving and an expansive, high-end spa aesthetic.

As the name suggests, the Panorama Small is defined by its architectural transparency, offering an immersive wellness experience that transforms a standard room into a dedicated sanctuary of light and heat.

Architectural Design: The "Panorama" Glass Concept

The hallmark of this model is its fully glazed front, featuring clear 8 mm single-pane safety glass. Unlike traditional enclosed saunas, the Panorama Small uses large-scale glass elements to create a seamless visual flow, preventing that "boxed-in" feeling while maintaining an elite thermal seal.

  • Premium Glazing: Includes clear safety glass elements (694 x 1952 x 8 mm) and a versatile door (590 x 1915 x 8 mm).
  • Flexible Installation: The door features a mirrored assembly option, allowing for left or right-hand hinging to suit your specific room layout.

Superior Materiality: Nordic Spruce & Linden

The Harvia Panorama Small is an "element cabin," precision-manufactured for stability and thermal efficiency in the damp British climate.

  • The Exterior: Constructed from high-quality spruce element walls with 12.5 mm sturdy tongue and groove boards. Spruce is selected for its natural durability and traditional Finnish scent profile.
  • The Interior: Features the "Panorama" interior design, crafted exclusively from Linden (Lime wood). Linden is highly prized in 2026 luxury builds for its smooth, splinter-free texture and low heat conductivity, ensuring benches remain comfortable even during intense 90°C+ sessions.

Optimised Comfort & Smart Wellness

Despite its "Small" designation, the interior is ergonomically mapped for up to 4 persons, utilising a multi-level seating arrangement to maximize heat zones.

  • Seating & Support: Includes 3 x 620 mm wide benches, 2 dedicated headrests, and matching backrests for total recline comfort.
  • Atmospheric Lighting: Equipped with an integrated RGBW LED light set recessed into the roof support rail, allowing you to tailor the ambiance of your session via color-therapy (chromotherapy) cues.
  • Safety & Airflow: Features a built-in ventilation slit for consistent oxygen flow and a dedicated heater protection grille (W 526 x D 455 x H 580 mm) for a safe, worry-free environment.

Buying Guide +

The Harvia Panorama S: Project Roadmap & Buying Guide

The Panorama S is defined by its striking full-glass frontage, designed to blur the line between your sanctuary and your surroundings. Because this model combines a high-output 9kW heater with a compact 5.66 m³ volume, precision in setup is vital for the best experience.

1. Order Confirmation & Timeline

  • The Process: Once your order is confirmed, your Panorama S is allocated for delivery.
  • The Installation Invoice: If you choose our Professional Service, we send the installation invoice closer to your arrival date once your site is confirmed as "ready."

2. Preparation Checklist: The Foundation

Even though the Panorama S has a compact footprint, the weight is concentrated.

  • The Calculation: The build weighs 323kg. With 4 occupants and a 9kW heater with stones, the base must support a "Live Load."
  • Our Recommendation: Your foundation (concrete, paving, or reinforced decking) must be able to withstand 1,000kg.
  • The Level Rule: Because of the massive glass front, the base must be perfectly level. Any slight tilt puts pressure on the glass panels and prevents the door from sealing properly.

3. Electrical Requirements (9.0kW Powerhouse)

The Panorama S uses a 9kW heater—extraordinarily powerful for this size—meaning it heats up in record time.

  • The Requirement: You must hire a qualified electrician.
  • The Brief: Your electrician will need to prepare a dedicated circuit (typically 40-Amp).
  • Professional Advice: Always consult with your electrician and defer to their judgement regarding your home’s load capacity and cable sizing.

4. Delivery and Inspection: What happens on the day

  • Palletised Arrival: Your sauna arrives securely palletised and weather-wrapped.
  • Integrated Assistance: We provide kerbside delivery, but our crew will assist you in manually carrying the components from the pallet to your designated site.
  • The 24-Hour Rule: Because this model contains large glass panels, inspection is critical. Please check all components carefully and report any issues within 24 hours to protect your warranty.

5. Installation Service & Warranty

  • Option A: Balance Recovery Professional Service
    • Warranty: 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty.
    • The Build: We handle the full assembly, including the delicate glass front and the 9kW heater/lamp installation.
  • Option B: Self-Assembly (Competent Carpenters Only)
    • Warranty: 1-Year Parts-Only Warranty.
    • The Build: Your chosen contractors handle the assembly using Harvia’s technical manuals.

6. Hardware & Electrical Warranty

We protect the "engine" of your sauna with specific coverage:

  • Heater & Controls (2 Years): Covers the heater body and the Fenix 110 Digital Hub (if selected).
  • Heating Elements (12 Months): Guaranteed for a full year of residential use.
  • The "Silicone" Rule: For any electrical warranty to be valid, your electrician must use SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cable. Standard PVC wiring will melt in this environment and voids all coverage.

7. Warranty Validation & Handover

  • The First Oil: You must apply a breathable wood oil to the Spruce timber within 7 days. This stops the wood from drying out too quickly under the intense 9kW heat.
  • Test Cycle: Once the electrician certifies the connection, run a full "test burn" for 60 minutes. This clears any manufacturing oils from the elements and sets the timber.

8. Enjoy Your Panorama S

  • Aftercare: Periodically check the timber and the door alignment. Re-apply breathable oil as needed to keep the Spruce looking fresh.
  • Ongoing Support: We are here for the long haul—whether you need new stones, accessories, or technical advice on your Fenix 110 controller.

Electrical Supply Specification: Harvia Panorama Small

Notice to the Property Owner:

Technical Brief for 9.0kW Thermal Systems

This document is a technical specification for the use of your appointed electrician. You must always consult with a qualified, NICEIC-registered (or equivalent) professional and defer to their judgment regarding local wiring regulations, cable sizing, and property load capacity.

1. System Load & Power Profile

The Panorama S features a high-output 9.0kW heater. In a cabin of this volume, the power-to-space ratio is high, requiring a dedicated and stable radial circuit.

Component

Technical Specification

Heater Output

9.0 kW

Current Draw

Approximately 39.1 Amps (at 230V)

Phase Requirement

Single Phase (230V 1N~) or Three Phase (400V 3N~)

Circuit Protection

Typically a 40 Amp Type B RCBO

Lighting

230V Protective Lamp System

2. Control Pathway Configuration

Please identify which proposal has been selected, as the wiring topography differs:

  • Proposal 1: Harvia Xenio Fenix 110 (External Digital)
    • The Setup: A power unit is mounted externally (in a dry location).
    • Wiring: Requires data cable runs between the digital touch panel and the power unit, and high-temp silicone wiring from the power unit to the heater and sensors.
  • Proposal 2: Integrated Manual Control
    • The Setup: Controls are located on the heater unit itself.
    • Wiring: The mains power feed is wired directly into the heater’s internal terminal block.

3. Mandatory Material Standard: SiHF-JB

Because the Panorama S generates intense heat very quickly, standard PVC-insulated cabling is strictly prohibited.

  • The Requirement: All wiring entering the sauna (for the 9kW heater, sensors, and the protective lamp) must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone-insulated cable (rated to 180°C).
  • Compliance: Standard domestic wiring (e.g., Twin & Earth) will degrade and become unsafe under these thermal cycles. Failure to use silicone cabling voids the warranty of all electrical hardware.

4. Boundary of Responsibility (The "Hand-off")

  • The Installer: We physically mount the 9.0kW heater, the protective lamp, and the thermal sensors within the cabin.
  • The Electrician: Responsible for the final "live" termination into the heater/control unit, testing the circuit integrity, and issuing the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

5. Warranty Activation

The electrical warranty (2-Year Professional / 1-Year Parts) is conditional upon:

  1. Professional Certification: A valid EIC must be provided upon request.
  2. Cable Verification: The use of SiHF-JB silicone cabling must be verified for all internal connections.

Delivery & Installation Protocol: Harvia Panorama S

Technical Requirements & Site Readiness

The Panorama S is a precision-engineered sanctuary. Because this model features a high-output 9kW heater within a compact volume and a full-glass front, the following technical standards are mandatory to ensure safety, performance, and warranty validation.

1. The Foundation (Ground-Worker Brief)

The Panorama S requires a "Zero-Tolerance" level base. Because glass does not flex like timber, a perfectly level foundation is the only way to ensure the door seals correctly and the glass panels remain tension-free.

  • Load Rating: The base must support a "Live Load" of 1,000kg (323kg build weight + 4 occupants + 9kW heater and stones).
  • Levelling: The foundation must be perfectly level. We cannot "shim" the glass front; if the base is uneven, the door will not align, and heat will escape.
  • Surface Recommendation: Reinforced concrete pad, mortar-set paving, or heavy-duty structural decking.

2. Electrical Infrastructure (Electrician Brief)

The Panorama S utilises a 9.0kW Harvia system. This is a high-performance power requirement that must be handled by a qualified professional.

  • Power Profile: 9.0kW (Typical 40-Amp radial circuit).
  • Mandatory Cabling: All internal wiring for the heater and lamp must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cable. Standard PVC "Twin & Earth" cabling will fail under the thermal stress of this unit and will void the warranty.
  • Service Boundary: * Balance Recovery Team: We physically mount the heater and the protective lamp.
  • Your Electrician: Responsible for the final "live" connection to the consumer unit and issuing the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

3. Arrival & Inspection Protocol

  • Palletised Delivery: Your sauna arrives weather-wrapped. Due to the large glass panels, the pallet requires a clear, flat area for offloading.
  • Integrated Assistance: We provide kerbside delivery as standard. However, if access permits, our crew will assist you in manually carrying the individual components from the pallet to your installation site.
  • The 24-Hour Rule: You must inspect all glass panels and Spruce components upon arrival. Any transit damage must be reported to us within 24 hours to ensure a priority warranty replacement.

4. Installation Service Pathways

Please follow the protocol for your chosen service level:

Pathway A: Balance Recovery Professional Service

  • Our Responsibility: We handle the full structural build, the precision fitting of the glass front, and the mounting of the 9kW heater and protective lamp.

  • Warranty: Includes a 2-Year Comprehensive Warranty (Parts & Structural Labour).

Pathway B: Self-Assembly (Independent Contractors)

  • Your Contractor's Responsibility: Your team handles the assembly using the provided Harvia technical manuals.
  • Warranty: Includes a 1-Year Parts-Only Warranty. Your contractor is responsible for the structural alignment and labour.

5. Mandatory Post-Install Steps (Warranty Activation)

To validate your warranty for either pathway, two steps must be completed:

  1. The 7-Day Preservation Seal: You must apply a high-quality breathable wood oil to all Spruce surfaces within 7 days. This prevents the timber from drying out or warping under the intense heat of the 9kW system.
  2. The Test Burn: Once your electrician certifies the connection, run the sauna for 60 minutes at full temperature to cure the heating elements and "set" the cabin.

Harvia Panorama Small Warranty

Harvia Panorama S

We want you to spend your time enjoying the view from your Panorama S, not worrying about "what ifs." This document clearly outlines how we protect your investment and what we need from you to keep your 9kW sanctuary in peak condition.

1. Two Levels of Protection

  • Professional Tier (2-Year Comprehensive): Valid when the Balance Recovery Team performs the installation. This covers the structural alignment of the glass and timber, the hardware mounting, and the Harvia electrical suite.
  • Self-Assembly Tier (1-Year Parts-Only): Valid for independent builds. We guarantee the quality of every Harvia component and Spruce timber panel we ship. Your chosen contractor is responsible for the build quality and alignment.

2. The Harvia 9.0kW Heating System

As the heart of your sauna, the Harvia heater is built to world-class standards. We break the warranty down into two parts:

  • The Heater & Control Hub (2 Years): We guarantee the heater’s stainless steel body, the internal circuitry, and the Fenix 110 Digital Hub (if selected) against manufacturing defects.
  • The Heating Elements (12 Months): These are the core components that generate the heat. They are guaranteed for 12 months of residential use.
  • The "Stone Rule": For the elements to stay healthy, you must use the provided Finnish sauna stones and stack them loosely according to the manual. Packing stones too tightly restricts airflow and causes elements to overheat, which can void this portion of the cover.

3. The Panorama Glass & Spruce Timber

  • Glass Alignment: Because the Panorama S features a full-glass front, the warranty on the door seal and glass tension is tied directly to the Level Foundation requirement.
  • The Nature of Spruce: Solid Spruce is a living material. Under the intense heat of a 9kW heater, you may notice minor surface cracks or resin beads. These are not defects; they are the "fingerprints" of an authentic timber sauna.
  • Preservation: You must apply a breathable wood oil within 7 days to lock in your timber warranty.

4. Electrical Compliance

To protect the Harvia hardware and your home, the electrical warranty is only active if:

  1. Your electrician provides an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

  2. Your electrician uses SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cable. (Standard PVC wiring will degrade under 9kW heat cycles and voids all electrical coverage).

5. Simple Claims Process

If something doesn't feel right, just reach out. We don’t do complicated forms—send us a photo of the issue and your order number, and our technical team will troubleshoot it with you immediately.

  • Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
  • Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

  • Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
  • Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
  • Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.
