The Harvia Sauna Experience Buying Guide
How It Works
The Harvia Olympus pairs a spacious glass-front cabin kit with your choice of Harvia 9 kW heater. Below is the step-by-step journey from order to your first session.
1. Choose Your Cabin, Heater & Control Select the Olympus and a suitable Harvia 9 kW heater (Cilindro for single-phase / Virta for three-phase), sauna stones and a control unit. Not sure which? Tell us your supply details and we'll recommend the right match. Complete your purchase and you'll receive an order confirmation.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch Your order is prepared and the cabin is supplied as a flat-packed tongue-and-groove kit with assembly materials and instructions. Lead times are confirmed at order (some Harvia items ship from Finland).
3. Delivery to Your Address Free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The kit is large and heavy (520 kg across multiple packages), so please ensure someone is available to receive it; you'll typically be contacted to arrange a convenient day.
4. Receipt & Inspection Inspect all packaging on arrival and check every panel and component against the manual. Report anything missing or damaged straight away, and keep all packaging until the sauna is fully assembled and working.
5. Assembly The Olympus is designed for straightforward assembly — the tongue-and-groove panels slot together, and two people and basic tools are recommended. Prefer not to build it yourself? We can arrange professional installation at additional cost, quoted to your location.
6. Electrical Connection A qualified electrician must connect your 9 kW heater and control unit to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply (single- or three-phase to match the heater), in full compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). This is essential for safety and to maintain warranty cover.
7. Commissioning & First Use Add the sauna stones, set your control, run a first heat cycle, then set your temperature and lighting for your first authentic Finnish sauna.
8. Aftercare Keep the cabin ventilated, clean the timber as advised, and periodically check the heater, control and lighting. Contact us anytime for stones, accessories or support.
