How It Works

The Harvia Lindea View pairs a premium glass-front element cabin with your choice of Harvia Concept R heater. Below is the step-by-step journey from order to your first session.

1. Choose Your Cabin, Lighting & Heater Select the Lindea View Small (left or right assembly), standard or RGBW lighting, and either sauna-only or a Concept R heater package (electric or with integrated steamer, each with a Fenix Wi-Fi control). Not sure which? Tell us your room and supply details and we'll recommend the right match. Complete your purchase and you'll receive an order confirmation.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch Your order is prepared and the cabin is supplied as a flat-packed insulated element kit with assembly materials and instructions. Lead times are confirmed at order (some Harvia items ship from Finland).

3. Delivery to Your Address Free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The cabin is large and heavy (~646 kg gross across multiple packages), so please ensure someone is available to receive it; you'll typically be contacted to arrange a convenient day.

4. Receipt & Inspection Inspect all packaging on arrival and check every element and component against the manual. Report anything missing or damaged straight away, and keep all packaging until the sauna is fully assembled and working.

5. Assembly The Lindea View is designed for straightforward assembly — the insulated element panels slot together, and you choose the door hinge side. Two people and basic tools are recommended. Prefer not to build it yourself? We can arrange professional installation at additional cost.

6. Electrical Connection (Heater) A qualified electrician must connect your Concept R heater and Fenix control to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply (the 5 × 2.5 mm² cable indicates a three-phase connection), in full compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). This is essential for safety and to maintain warranty cover.

7. Commissioning & First Use Add the sauna stones, pair the Fenix control and MyHarvia2 app, run a first heat cycle (and set the steamer if fitted), then enjoy your first premium Finnish sauna.

Technical Brief for the Concept R Mini 6–7.5 kW Heating System

This document is a technical specification for the use of your appointed electrician. You must always consult with a qualified, NICEIC-registered (or equivalent) professional and defer to their judgment regarding local wiring regulations (BS 7671), cable sizing, and property load capacity. The Lindea View Small is supplied as a hard-wired appliance; there is no plug and socket.

1. System Load & Power Profile

The Lindea View Small is a 5.367 m³ cabin rated for a 6–7.5 kW heater. It is supplied with a 4 m, 5 × 2.5 mm² high-temperature silicone heater cable, indicating a three-phase 400 V (3N~) connection. Each Concept R Mini option requires a dedicated, stable radial circuit. Confirm the exact figures against the heater you select:

Note on sizing: Harvia rates the 6 kW Concept R Mini for 5–8 m³, which is the on-specification match for this 5.367 m³ cabin. The 7.5 kW versions are rated for 7–11 m³; if you choose 7.5 kW, confirm suitability with your installer. The Combi models add a manual-fill steam evaporator (no plumbed water supply is required). Harvia does not publish a minimum mains-cable cross-section — your electrician will size the supply cable and protective device to the final load and cable run under BS 7671.

2. Control Pathway Configuration — Harvia Fenix Wi-Fi

All Concept R Mini options on this cabin use the Harvia Fenix Wi-Fi control with the MyHarvia2 app:

• The setup: the Fenix power/control unit is mounted externally in a dry, ventilated location; the heater and temperature sensor sit inside the cabin.
• Wiring: a low-voltage data cable runs between the touch panel/power unit, and high-temperature silicone wiring runs from the power unit to the heater and sensor. The Fenix control is fed from the same supply as the heater — it does not require its own separate mains circuit.

3. Mandatory Material Standard: SiHF-JB

Because the heater generates intense heat quickly, standard PVC-insulated cabling is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.

• The requirement: all wiring entering the sauna (heater, sensor and lighting) must be SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone-insulated cable (rated to 180°C). The supplied 4 m, 5 × 2.5 mm² heater cable is this silicone type.
• Compliance: standard domestic wiring (e.g. Twin & Earth) will degrade and become unsafe under these thermal cycles. Failure to use silicone cabling voids the warranty of all electrical hardware.

4. Isolation & Circuit

• The heater must be supplied from a dedicated radial circuit with the protective device shown above; do not share the circuit with other appliances.
• A local isolator switch should be fitted within a safe, accessible distance of the sauna to allow maintenance and emergency shut-off.
• Protection and RCD/RCBO arrangement are the electrician's determination in accordance with BS 7671.

5. Boundary of Responsibility (The "Hand-off")

• The installer: we physically mount the heater, the lighting and the thermal sensor within the cabin and leave the high-temperature silicone cable "tails".
• The electrician: responsible for the dedicated circuit, the final "live" termination into the heater/Fenix control unit, testing the circuit integrity, and issuing the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).

6. Warranty Activation

The manufacturer's electrical warranty is conditional upon:

1. Professional certification: a valid EIC must be provided upon request.
2. Cable verification: the use of SiHF-JB high-temperature silicone cabling must be verified for all internal connections.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery (646 kg gross across multiple packages), and inspect all components on arrival.

Assembly The cabin is designed for straightforward DIY assembly — the insulated element panels slot together with a selectable door hinge, with two people and basic tools recommended. If you'd prefer, we can arrange professional installation at additional cost, quoted to your location and site conditions.

Electrical connection The Lindea View is a traditional electric sauna and requires a Harvia Concept R heater (6–7.5 kW, sold as a package) and Fenix control connected to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply by a qualified electrician, in line with UK regulations. The supplied 5 × 2.5 mm² cable indicates a three-phase connection. We'll confirm the exact supply requirement for your chosen package so it can be installed and certified ahead of first use.

Harvia 2-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

The Harvia Lindea View Small comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty as standard, giving you long-term confidence in your purchase.

Conditions & exclusions

• Cover applies to manufacturing and material defects under normal domestic use (light commercial use may carry different terms — confirm at order).
• The warranty does not cover damage from improper assembly, incorrect electrical installation, misuse, neglect or accidental damage, or natural timber characteristics (minor grain, colour and dimensional variation).
• Correct assembly per the manual and electrical connection by a qualified electrician are required to maintain cover.
• Keep your proof of purchase as evidence of warranty.

At Balance Recovery, we supply premium Harvia products built to order. Because Harvia items are manufactured specifically to each customer's requirements, our returns and refunds policy reflects their specialised, made-to-order nature. Your statutory rights are preserved in full throughout.

1. Eligibility — The Made-to-Order Nature of Your Purchase

• Made to Order: Harvia products are made to order and enter production once your order is confirmed.
• Non-Refundable Once Production Begins: Because each item is commissioned specifically for you, orders are non-refundable once production has begun. We cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind" from that point.
• Special Orders, Saunas and Hot Tubs: Special orders, saunas and hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before production begins.
• Once Production Begins: After production has started, the order is non-refundable and cancellations cannot be facilitated.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released to manufacture.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the made-to-order exemption above.
