The Harvia Sauna Experience Buying Guide
How It Works
The Harvia Lindea View pairs a premium glazed-corner element cabin with your choice of Harvia Virta heater. Below is the step-by-step journey from order to your first session.
1. Choose Your Cabin, Heater & Control Select the Lindea View Large (left or right assembly), standard or RGBW lighting, and either sauna-only or a Virta heater package (7, 9 or 11 kW) with a Xenio Wi-Fi or C-Series control. Not sure which? Tell us your room and supply details and we'll recommend the right match. Complete your purchase and you'll receive an order confirmation.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch Your order is prepared and the cabin is supplied as a flat-packed insulated element kit with assembly materials and instructions. Lead times are confirmed at order (some Harvia items ship from Finland).
3. Delivery to Your Address Free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The cabin is large and heavy (~820 kg across multiple packages), so please ensure help is available to receive it; you'll typically be contacted to arrange a convenient day.
4. Receipt & Inspection Inspect all packaging on arrival and check every element and component against the manual. Report anything missing or damaged straight away, and keep all packaging until the sauna is fully assembled and working.
5. Assembly The Lindea View is designed for straightforward assembly — the insulated element panels slot together, and you choose the door hinge side. Two people and basic tools are recommended (more help is sensible given the size and weight). Prefer not to build it yourself? We can arrange professional installation at additional cost.
6. Electrical Connection (Heater) A qualified electrician must connect your Virta heater and control to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply (the 5 × 2.5 mm² cable and 7–11 kW output indicate a three-phase connection), in full compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). This is essential for safety and to maintain warranty cover.
7. Commissioning & First Use Add the sauna stones, set the control (pair the Wi-Fi app if fitted), run a first heat cycle, then enjoy your first premium Finnish sauna.
8. Aftercare Keep the cabin ventilated, clean the linden and glass as advised, and periodically check the heater, control and lighting. Contact us anytime for stones, accessories or support.
