Owner’s Brief for the Harvia Fenix FX110 WiFi Control Unit
CRITICAL NOTICE: The information below is for your project planning and budget estimation. You must consult a Registered Electrician to carry out this installation. The Fenix FX110 manages high-voltage loads and safety-critical sensors; you must always defer to your electrician’s professional judgment regarding the safety and capacity of your property's electrical system.

Note: Accessories include items like sauna lights and ventilation fans, which are also wired directly into the Fenix Power Unit.
2. Infrastructure Requirements
As the owner, you need to ensure your electrician has considered the following:

The Power Unit Location: This box needs a permanent home. It is IPX5 rated, but it still requires air circulation. Discuss with your electrician whether it should be mounted on the sauna roof or in a nearby service cupboard.

Data Cable Paths: There is a low-voltage data cable that runs from the Power Unit to the Touch Panel. This needs to be chased into the wall or hidden behind cladding before the sauna is finished.

WiFi Signal: For the "Smart" features to work, the Power Unit must be within range of your home WiFi. Your electrician may need to install an external antenna or a WiFi extender if the signal is blocked by the sauna's insulation/foil.
3. Mandatory Installation Standards
Ensure your electrician adheres to these standards to maintain safety and warranty:

Heat-Rated Wiring: While the Fenix sits outside the hot zone, any cables passing through or into the sauna (to the heater or sensors) must be SiHF-JB Silicone Cable (rated to 180°C).

Dedicated Circuit: The Fenix system must be on its own dedicated circuit, protected by an appropriately rated RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection).
4. Final Safety Certification
Once the Fenix system is live and the app is paired, your electrician is legally required to provide you with an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
