Owner’s Brief for the Harvia Fenix Combi FX110C WiFi

The Fenix FX110C manages dual loads (Heating + Steaming) and complex humidity sensors; you must always defer to your electrician’s professional judgment regarding the safety and capacity of your property's electrical system.
1. System Load & Dual-Function Capacity
The FX110C is a specialised Combi controller. It manages two separate power outputs: one for the sauna heating elements and one for the steamer (evaporator).

The Combi Load: Your electrician must ensure your circuit is rated for the combined load if both the heater and steamer are intended to run simultaneously (Soft Sauna mode).
2. Infrastructure & Component Placement
As the owner, you must coordinate the location of these three core points with your electrician:

The Power Unit: This relay box manages the switching between dry heat and steam. It must be mounted in a ventilated, accessible location (e.g., a service cupboard or on the sauna roof).

The Dual-Sensor: Unlike standard heaters, this unit uses a specialised Temperature & Humidity sensor. It must be ceiling-mounted directly above the Combi heater to accurately regulate steam levels.

Network Access: The "Smart" features (adjusting humidity via your phone) require a stable 2.4 GHz WiFi signal at the Power Unit.
3. Mandatory Installation Standards
To protect your property and ensure warranty compliance, your electrician must follow these standards:

Silicone Cabling: All cables entering the sauna (to the heater, the steamer, and the sensors) must be SiHF-JB Silicone Cable (rated to 180°C). Standard PVC cabling will degrade rapidly in a high-humidity steam environment.

Dedicated Protection: The system must be installed on a dedicated circuit with an appropriately rated RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection).

Earthing: Given the presence of water/steam in a Combi system, correct earthing of both the heater chassis and the Fenix power unit is a critical safety requirement.
4. Final Safety & Warranty Documentation
Upon completion of the installation and testing of the "Drying Cycle," your electrician is legally required to provide you with an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
