How It Works

The Harvia Block range pairs a designer glass-front cabin kit with your choice of Harvia 9 kW heater package. Below is the step-by-step journey from order to your first session.

1. Choose Your Cabin, Heater Side & Package Select the Block Medium, your heater position (left or right), and either cabin-only or a 9 kW heater package (Virta, or Virta Combi steam — each with stones and a Fenix Wi-Fi control). Not sure which? Tell us your room and supply details and we'll recommend the right match. Complete your purchase and you'll receive an order confirmation.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch Your order is prepared and the cabin is supplied as a flat-packed element kit with assembly materials, product sheet and installation guide. Lead times are confirmed at order (some Harvia items ship from Finland).

3. Delivery to Your Address Free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The kit is large and heavy (~515 kg gross across multiple packages), so please ensure someone is available to receive it; you'll typically be contacted to arrange a convenient day.

4. Receipt & Inspection Inspect all packaging on arrival and check every element and component against the manual. Report anything missing or damaged straight away, and keep all packaging until the sauna is fully assembled and working.

5. Assembly The Block Medium is designed for straightforward assembly — the element/keyhole panels slot together with hidden fittings, and the adjustable legs make levelling simple. Two people and basic tools are recommended. Prefer not to build it yourself? We can arrange professional installation at additional cost.

6. Electrical Connection (Heater) A qualified electrician must connect your 9 kW heater and control to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply (typically three-phase for a 9 kW heater), in full compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). This is essential for safety and to maintain warranty cover.

7. Commissioning & First Use Add the sauna stones, pair the Fenix control and MyHarvia2 app (if fitted), run a first heat cycle, then set your temperature and lighting for your first authentic Finnish sauna.

8. Aftercare Keep the cabin ventilated, clean the timber and glass as advised, and periodically check the heater, control and lighting. Contact us anytime for stones, accessories or support.

The Harvia Sauna Experience Delivery & Installation

Delivery We offer free kerbside delivery across the UK mainland. The Block Medium is supplied as a flat-packed element kit with assembly materials and instructions; lead times are confirmed at order, as some Harvia products ship directly from Finland. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery (515 kg gross across multiple packages), and inspect all components on arrival.

Assembly The cabin is designed for straightforward DIY assembly — the element/keyhole panels slot together with hidden fittings and adjustable levelling legs, with two people and basic tools recommended. If you'd prefer, we can arrange professional installation at additional cost, quoted to your location and site conditions.

Electrical connection The Block Medium is a traditional electric sauna and requires a Harvia heater (7–9 kW, sold as a package) and control connected to a suitable hard-wired electrical supply by a qualified electrician, in line with UK regulations. A 9 kW heater is typically a three-phase connection. We'll confirm the exact supply requirement for your chosen package so it can be installed and certified ahead of first use.

Harvia Manufacturer's Warranty

The Harvia Block Medium comes with a Harvia manufacturer's warranty as standard, giving you long-term confidence in your purchase. 

Conditions & exclusions

• Cover applies to manufacturing and material defects under normal domestic use.
• The warranty does not cover damage from improper assembly, incorrect electrical installation, misuse, neglect or accidental damage, or natural timber characteristics (minor grain, colour and dimensional variation).
• Correct assembly per the manual and electrical connection by a qualified electrician are required to maintain cover.
• Keep your proof of purchase as evidence of warranty.

Harvia Saunas — Returns & Refunds Policy

At Balance Recovery, we supply premium Harvia products built to order. Because Harvia items are manufactured specifically to each customer's requirements, our returns and refunds policy reflects their specialised, made-to-order nature. Your statutory rights are preserved in full throughout.

1. Eligibility — The Made-to-Order Nature of Your Purchase

• Made to Order: Harvia products are made to order and enter production once your order is confirmed.
• Non-Refundable Once Production Begins: Because each item is commissioned specifically for you, orders are non-refundable once production has begun. We cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind" from that point.
• Special Orders, Saunas and Hot Tubs: Special orders, saunas and hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before production begins.
• Once Production Begins: After production has started, the order is non-refundable and cancellations cannot be facilitated.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released to manufacture.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the made-to-order exemption above.
