The information provided below is for guidance purposes only to assist in planning. You must consult a qualified, registered electrician to carry out all works. You must always defer to your electrician’s professional judgment regarding local wiring regulations, cable sizing, and your property’s total electrical load capacity.

1. Choose Your Power Profile

The electrician must identify which heating system has been selected, as the infrastructure requirements differ significantly.

Option A: 11.0kW Electric System (Cilindro 110E)

This is a high-demand industrial-grade load.

• Total Load: Approx. 47.8 Amps (Single Phase).
• Protection: Typically a dedicated 50-Amp Type B RCBO.
• Control Suite: Harvia Xenio Fenix 100 Power Unit & Digital Touch Panel.
• Electrician Note: Please perform a Domestic Load Audit. Ensure the property’s main service fuse (e.g., 60A/80A/100A) can accommodate this 11kW load alongside existing household appliances.

Option B: Wood-Burning System (Linear 18)

This is a low-demand lighting-only load.

• Total Load: < 1.0 Amp.
• Protection: Typically a 6-Amp or 10-Amp lighting circuit.
• Purpose: Powers the internal LED Atmosphere Lighting and sensors only.

2. External Infrastructure (Outdoor Standards)

Because the Alpina is an outdoor structure, the feed from the property must be engineered for the environment:

• Voltage Drop: For 11kW systems, your electrician must calculate the correct cable cross-section relative to the distance from the consumer unit to ensure full power delivery to the heater.

Site Readiness & Structural Standards

The Alpina Panorama Medium is a high-specification outdoor structure. Because it combines a 1,229 kg spruce frame with a precision-engineered glass facade, the following site standards are mandatory to protect the structural integrity and your warranty.

1. Foundation & Engineering (The "Zero-Tolerance" Rule)

The Panorama glass frontage requires a foundation that will not shift or settle.

• Total Static Load: Approx. 1,850 kg (Structure + Heater + Stones + 5 Occupants).
• The Base: A reinforced concrete pad (min. 100mm) or structural steel frame is required.
• Levelling: The base must be perfectly level. Any slope will put uneven pressure on the panoramic glass panels, leading to seal failure or potential glass stress fractures. This is the #1 cause of installation delays.

2. Logistics & Access (The "1.3 Tonne" Pallet)

• The Arrival: The unit arrives as a single, weather-wrapped pallet weighing 1,344 kg.

1. The Coverage Tiers

Your warranty is determined by the installation pathway selected:

• Pathway A: Professional Installation Service
• 2-Year Comprehensive Structural Warranty: Covers the integrity of the spruce frame, glass seating, and assembly labor.
• 2-Year Harvia Hardware Warranty: Covers the 11kW heater or wood-burning stove components and digital control hubs.
• Pathway B: Independent Contractor / Self-Assembly
• 1-Year Parts-Only Warranty: Covers Harvia hardware.
• Note: Structural alignment, weather-sealing, and glass integrity are the responsibility of the third-party installer.

2. Mandatory Warranty Activation (The "7-Day Rule")

Due to the nature of 40mm solid spruce in an outdoor environment, the structural warranty is contingent upon two critical actions being completed within 7 days of the build:

• The External Seal: All exterior timber must be treated with a high-quality UV-resistant wood oil or preservative.
• The Weatherproof Cap: A professional roofing membrane (EPDM or Bitumen) must be fully installed and secured.

Failure to protect the timber from moisture ingress within this window will void claims related to timber "checking," warping, or joint separation.

3. Electrical Compliance & Safety

The electrical supply is the customer's responsibility. To maintain the warranty on the 11kW Cilindro heater, Fenix 100 hub, and LED lighting:

4. The Panorama Glass Clause

• Leveling: The structural warranty is only valid if the sauna is installed on a perfectly level, non-subsiding foundation (Concrete or Structural Steel). Ground movement that causes the glass to pinch or stress is not covered.
• Inspection: Any transit-related glass imperfections must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

5. Proper Usage & Maintenance (Stewardship)

To keep your Alpina Panorama in peak condition, the following "Sauna Physics" must be observed:

• Sauna Stones: Only genuine Finnish igneous stones may be used. Stones must be "piled" loosely to allow airflow; "packing" stones too tightly causes element burnout and is not covered.

• Natural variations in wood color or grain (it is a living material).
• Small surface "checking" (minor cracks) that do not affect structural integrity.
• Damage caused by extreme weather events (storms/floods) where a professional roof was not maintained.

1. Eligibility — The Made-to-Order Nature of Your Purchase

• Made to Order: Harvia products are made to order and enter production once your order is confirmed.
• Non-Refundable Once Production Begins: Because each item is commissioned specifically for you, orders are non-refundable once production has begun. We cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind" from that point.
• Special Orders, Saunas and Hot Tubs: Special orders, saunas and hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before production begins.
• Once Production Begins: After production has started, the order is non-refundable and cancellations cannot be facilitated.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released to manufacture.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return once production has begun.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the made-to-order exemption above.
