2. Navigating Your Property

• Pathway Width: Minimum 900mm (85cm height + 50mm buffer).
• Clearance: If your gate has a top bar, ensure it is at least 2250mm high to allow the tub to pass through on its side (215cm width + 100mm for the dolly).

• YOUR ROLE: You are responsible for providing the appropriate electrical supply. We are not domestic electricians and are not qualified or insured to install house wiring, circuit breakers, or rotary isolators. This work must be completed and tested by your electrician before we arrive.

2. The Specification (16 Amp Performance)

While some entry-level spas use a standard plug, the 536L features a high-output 3HP double-speed pump and a 2kW heater. A dedicated 16 Amp hardwired supply is required to ensure these components can run simultaneously without overloading your home's circuits.

3. Installation Mandatory Requirements

• Rotary Isolator: A waterproof IP65-rated rotary isolator must be installed. For safety and compliance, this must be positioned between 2 and 3 metres from the spa.
• The "Tail" Cable: Your electrician must provide a length of 3-core SWA Armoured Cable connected to the load side of the isolator.

4. Arrival Readiness

• Supply-Related Damage: Any damage to the control board, heater, or the 3HP pump caused by an inadequate supply, "voltage drop," or incorrect wiring at the property is not covered. The use of extension leads, or 13A "Plug & Play" conversion,s will immediately void the 2-year equipment guarantee.

3. Owner Maintenance & Exclusions

• Surface Care: The 5-year acrylic warranty does not cover damage caused by leaving the spa empty in direct sunlight (UV degradation) or using abrasive cleaning agents.
• Chemical Balance: Imbalanced water (incorrect pH or excessive sanitisers) can corrode the 2kW heater and pump seals. Maintain a pH of 7.2 to 7.6 to safeguard your 2-year equipment cover.
• Winterisation: Damage caused by frozen water in the plumbing lines is considered a maintenance failure and is excluded from the plumbing warranty. The spa should remain powered on or be professionally winterised during freezing months.

1. Eligibility — Special Orders and Hot Tubs

• Special Orders: Weekend range hot tubs are prepared specifically to your order and are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Hot Tubs: As large, made-to-order spa units, Weekend range hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Change of Mind: Because these items are specialised and configured, wet-tested and commissioned to order, we cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind".
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, access routes, electrical supply requirements and technical specifications before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before it is confirmed for preparation, wet-testing or dispatch.
• After Confirmation: Once your hot tub has been confirmed for preparation or dispatch, cancellations and amendments may no longer be possible.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check the unit and all accessories carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, unsuitable site or access, and damage arising from installation conditions outside our control are not grounds for return of a made-to-order hot tub.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
