Cube Sauna (2m) | 6.8kW Harvia® Modern Architectural Outdoor Retreat

The Cube Sauna (2m Edition) is a masterclass in contemporary wellness design, moving away from rustic curves toward a bold, architectural statement. Engineered with 42mm thick premium timber walls, this 2m x 2m sanctuary provides a superior thermal envelope, locking in the intense heat generated by the Harvia PC70 Cilindro heater. Unlike barrel models, the Cube’s vertical walls and higher ceiling height allow for enhanced air circulation and a more spacious, non-restrictive bather experience.

Equipped with a towering Harvia PC70 (6.8kW) heater, this unit holds up to 80kg of stones, delivering a massive reservoir of thermal energy. This "Stone Pillar" design ensures that even after the heater is turned off, the Alder wood interior remains at therapeutic temperatures. Finished with a 1910mm high Bronze Safety Glass door and available in designer stains like Charcoal and Light Oak, the Cube is the gold standard for the modern 2026 garden suite.

Why the Cube 2m is the 2026 Architectural Benchmark:

1. The "Stone Tower" Thermal Engine

In 2026, buyers prioritise "Steam Quality" (Löyly). The Cube 2m utilises the Harvia PC70:

  • 80kg Stone Reservoir: The vertical Cilindro heater allows you to direct steam by throwing water on the side (for soft, humid heat) or the top (for an intense thermal blast).
  • High-Efficiency 6.8kW Output: Specifically calibrated for the 2m cubic volume, reaching 80–90°C in just 20–30 minutes, even in exposed outdoor environments.
  • 32-Amp Performance: This is a professional-grade hardwired system, ensuring the heater and lighting operate at peak capacity without the limitations of standard plug-and-play units.

2. Cubic Volume & Ergonomics

The Cube design solves the "headroom" issues of traditional barrel saunas:

  • Vertical Wall Advantage: Full-height walls allow for higher Alder wood terrace benches, placing bathers in the "Optimal Heat Zone" near the ceiling where the best steam accumulates.
  • 42mm Thermal Mass: The extra-thick timber construction acts as a natural battery, absorbing heat and radiating it back into the cabin for a deep, "soft" heat that penetrates the muscles.
  • Premium Alder Interior: Chosen for its low thermal conductivity, the Alder benches and floor grates remain cool to the touch while providing a luxurious, splinter-free finish.

3. Designer Aesthetics & 2026 Tech

  • Architectural Glazing: The tall, 1910mm Bronze Safety Glass door provides a grand entrance and a warm, private tint that reduces glare while maintaining a connection to the garden.
  • Integrated "Smart-Flow" Ventilation: Strategically placed ventilation holes prevent air stagnation, ensuring a fresh oxygen supply even during the highest-intensity sessions.
  • Designer Finish Options: Available in Charcoal, Woodland Red, and Light Oak stains, allowing the sauna to serve as a visual anchor in modern landscape projects.

Buying Guide +

Buying Guide: Cube Sauna (2m)

Model: The Cube | 2m Architectural Outdoor Sanctuary

1. Place Your Order

  • Choose the Cube Sauna (2m), our premier contemporary 4-person outdoor model.
  • This unit comes as a high-performance kit including the Harvia PC70 (6.8kW) heater, Alder terrace benches, and a choice of premium 2026 stains (Light Oak, Woodland Red, or Charcoal).
  • Complete your order online to receive your immediate confirmation and delivery window.
  • To ensure a flawless installation, you are welcome to send us a detailed video of your garden. The Cube’s 2040mm width requires clear access. The delivery is kerbside delivery only.

2. Order Processing & Manufacturing

  • Your Cube is engineered with 42mm heavy-duty timber walls for elite thermal retention. Your order includes:

    • Modern Cube Structure: 2000mm (L) x 2040mm (W) x 2140mm (H).
    • Thermal Engine: Harvia PC70 6.8kW Electric Pillar Heater (Includes stones).
    • Glazing: Extra-tall 1910mm Bronze Safety Glass door (8mm).
    • Interior: Two-tier Alder wood terrace benches and matching floor grates.
    • Protection: Integrated ventilation system and built-in drain tap.

3. Delivery Organisation – FREE Kerbside Delivery & Unloading

  • The Logistics: Your sauna is delivered palletised. Our team will unload the unit at the nearest safe kerbside point.
  • The Weight: At approximately 750kg, the Cube is a substantial structural unit.
  • Note: Ensure you have a plan to move the components from the kerbside to your garden. Given the contemporary flat-panel design, the panels are large and require 2–3 people for safe transit.

4. Pre-Installation Preparation

  • Foundation: A perfectly level, solid base is required (Concrete, stone, or heavy-duty decking). The base must support nearly 1 tonne of static weight once the heater is loaded with stones.
  • Electrical Preparation: The Harvia PC70 is a 6.8kW heater.
    • Requirement: A dedicated 32-Amp single-phase supply (hardwired).
    • Consultation: You must engage a qualified electrician to prepare a dedicated circuit from your consumer unit to the sauna site.

5. Delivery Day & Unloading

  • Your sauna arrives via specialized transport.
  • Your Responsibility: Inspect the 8mm Bronze Safety Glass and the 42mm timber panels upon unloading.
  • Inspection Rule: Report any transit issues within 24 hours to protect your warranty.

6. Installation Options

  • Self-Assembly: The Cube uses a precision-fit system. Due to the vertical wall height, this requires 2 people and approximately 4–6 hours. Includes a 1-year warranty.
  • Professional Installation: Price Available on Request. Our team handles the structural assembly and ensures the door and ventilation are perfectly calibrated. Includes a 2-year structural warranty.

7. Finishing Touches & Safety Check

  • Stain Selection: Your Cube arrives in your chosen 2026 stain (Light Oak, Woodland Red, or Charcoal). To maintain the warranty, we recommend a refresh of the exterior oil every 12–18 months.
  • Stone Loading: The PC70 is a "Cilindro" style pillar. Ensure stones are placed loosely to allow the 6.8kW elements to breathe and distribute heat evenly.
  • Airflow: Open the integrated ventilation holes fully during your first "heat-up" to season the timber.

8. Enjoy Your Sauna & Ongoing Support

  • The Experience: Traditional steam in a modern architectural frame. Perfect for 4 adults.
  • Maintenance: Wipe down the Alder benches post-session and check the drain tap is clear of debris.
  • Support: Our 2026 technical team is on hand for Harvia heater support and timber care advice.
  • Important notes: 32A hardwiring is mandatory. Non-refundable once production commences.
Electrical Supply - IMPORTANT +

Electrical Supply Specification: Cube Sauna (2m)

Model: The Cube | 6.8kW Harvia PC70 Series

⚠️ Mandatory Electrical Disclaimer & Responsibility

The Cube Sauna is a high-load architectural appliance. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to consult and engage a qualified, Part P registered electrician to design, install, and certify the electrical supply.

1. Core Electrical Requirements

The Cube (2m) utilises the Harvia PC70 traditional pillar heater. This engine is designed for rapid heat-up times (20–30 mins) in 42mm timber structures, requiring the following supply:

  • Heater Output: 6.8 kW
  • Power Supply: Single Phase 230V / 50Hz
  • Amperage Draw: Approximately 29.6 Amps
  • Supply Type: Dedicated 32-Amp or 40-Amp Circuit (Hardwired).

2. Customer’s Responsibility: The Electrician’s Brief

You must provide the following information to your electrician before the sauna arrives:

  • Dedicated Breaker: The sauna must be on its own dedicated radial circuit. We recommend a 40A Type B MCB (or RCBO) to account for potential "nuisance tripping" during high-load thermal expansion.
  • RCD Protection: Under Section 703 of the wiring regulations, the circuit must be protected by a 30mA Residual Current Device (RCD).
  • Local Isolation: A waterproof (IP66-rated) double-pole rotary isolator switch must be installed externally, within sight of the sauna, for safety and maintenance.

3. Cable Specification

Your electrician will determine the exact cable gauge based on the "voltage drop" over the distance from your consumer unit to the garden.

  • Standard Requirement: Typically involves 6mm² or 10mm² 3-core SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable.
  • Final Connection: The Cube is supplied with internal pre-wiring for integrated lighting. Your electrician must perform the final termination of your SWA cable into the Harvia PC70 heater terminals.

4. Integrated Technology

  • Lighting: The LED system is pre-wired to the internal junction box.
  • Heater Controls: The PC70 features integrated manual dials for temperature and timing. If you have opted for a Wi-Fi-enabled upgrade, your electrician will also need to commission the door sensor and control module.

Final Instruction for the Homeowner:

Please ensure your electrician is briefed prior to the sauna's delivery to verify your consumer unit has the capacity for a 6.8kW load. You must obtain an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) from your electrician upon completion. This document is required to validate your product warranty.

Delivery & Installation +

Delivery & Installation Guide Cube Sauna (2m)

Model: The Cube | 6.8kW Modern Outdoor Sanctuary

1. Site Foundation & Preparation

The Cube Sauna requires a high-specification foundation to support its substantial weight and modern silhouette.

  • The Base: A perfectly level, non-combustible solid base is mandatory (e.g., concrete pad or heavy-duty stone paving).
  • Weight Factor: With a dry weight of 750kg plus an additional 80kg of stones, the foundation must be rated for a static load of approximately 1,000kg.
  • Clearance: To preserve the contemporary finish, ensure a minimum of 500mm clearance around the entire structure. This allows for annual timber staining and ensures the integrated ventilation holes can draw air effectively.

2. Delivery & Logistical Access

  • Standard FREE Delivery: This is a kerbside delivery. The Cube is delivered palletised and will be unloaded at the nearest safe kerbside point.
  • Access Requirements: The largest panels are 2000mm in length. Verify that your garden access (gates, side paths, or alleyways) is wide enough to accommodate these flat-pack sections.
  • Lifting Service (Upon Request): * If manual handling is not possible, we can arrange a HIAB (crane truck) to lift the components over obstacles.
    • Please provide a site video for a bespoke lifting quote.

3. The "Cube" Structural Assembly

  • Panel Thickness: Unlike standard 28mm saunas, the Cube uses 42mm thick-wall construction. These panels are heavy and require at least 2-3 capable adults to maneuver and align.
  • Glass Safety: The 8mm Bronze Safety Glass door is extra-tall (1910mm). Handle with extreme care and avoid placing the glass edges directly on hard surfaces.
  • Inspection: Check all timber panels and glass upon delivery. Report any transit damage within 24 hours.

4. Electrical Supply (Customer Responsibility)

The Harvia PC70 is a professional-tier tower heater.

  • The Requirement: A dedicated 32-Amp single-phase supply is mandatory.
  • Electrician’s Role: It is the customer's sole responsibility to engage a qualified, Part P registered electrician to run the SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable to the site.
  • Warranty Note: We are not responsible for the on-site electrical installation. Ensure your electrician provides an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) to validate your warranty.

5. Installation Options

  • Professional Installation: Price Available on Request.
    • Recommended for the Cube model. Our team handles the heavy-panel alignment, door calibration, and roof sealing.
    • Includes a 2-year structural warranty.
  • Self-Assembly:
    • Requires advanced DIY skill. Pay close attention to the integrated ventilation alignment.
    • Includes a 1-year structural warranty.

6. Commissioning & First Heat

  • Stone Management: The PC70 holds 80kg of stones. Place them loosely to prevent restricted airflow, which can damage the elements or trip the safety sensors.
  • The "First Burn": Once the heater is commissioned by your electrician, run it at maximum heat for 1 hour with the door open. This seasons the 42mm timber and clears manufacturing residues from the stones and heater.
  • Drainage: Ensure the built-in drain tap is clear of sawdust/debris after assembly to allow for easy cleaning.

Oasis Outdoor Sauna Range — Manufacturer's Warranty

This manufacturer's warranty is provided by Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd (the manufacturer). Balance Recovery is your authorised retailer for the Woodchop Outdoor Sauna range and your first point of contact for any warranty claim.

Every sauna in the Woodchop Outdoor Sauna range has been crafted from premium thermowood and timber to deliver exceptional performance, reliability and years of authentic sauna enjoyment. To reflect our confidence in the quality of every cabin, Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd provides the following manufacturer's warranty for saunas installed for private domestic use within the United Kingdom. This warranty applies across the sauna range and, where relevant, references your Harvia heater and control unit.

1 Year Warranty on the Timber & Cabin Structure

The timber cabin structure, supporting framework, benches, door and glazing frames are warranted by Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd against defects in materials or workmanship that affect the structural integrity of the sauna under normal residential use. Timber is a natural material: normal movement, expansion and contraction, colour change, resin bleed and weathering are inherent characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.

2 Year Warranty on the Harvia Heater & Control Unit

Your Harvia heater and control unit carry the Harvia manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 2 years. This cover is conditional on the heater being installed and connected by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations). Arranging this installation is the responsibility of the customer, and a valid Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) may be required to support any warranty claim relating to the heater, control unit or electrical connection.

Warranty Registration

To receive the full benefits of this warranty, your sauna should be registered within 14 days of delivery. Failure to register within this period will reduce the timber and cabin structure warranty to the statutory minimum from the original date of delivery. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Please retain your Harvia documentation and your Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), as these may be required to support a heater or electrical warranty claim.

Reporting Transit Damage

Any missing, damaged or incorrect parts should be reported to your authorised retailer within 3 days of delivery. Failure to report transit damage within this period may affect your entitlement to a warranty claim relating to those items.

Making a Warranty Claim

Please contact the authorised retailer from whom your sauna was purchased — Balance Recovery (contact@balancerecovery.co.uk). If you are unable to obtain assistance from your retailer, please contact:

Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd Unit 9 Albert Martin Business Park Kirkby Road Sutton-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire NG17 1GZ

Warranty claims should be submitted within 30 days of discovering the fault and should include:

  • Proof of purchase.
  • Product serial number (or photograph of the product identification label) and, for heater claims, the Harvia model and serial number.
  • A description of the fault.
  • Photographs or videos showing the issue.
  • Installation photographs where requested.
  • For any heater, control unit or electrical claim, a copy of the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) confirming installation by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671.

Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd reserves the right to inspect the product or request additional information before approving any warranty claim. Claims relating to the Harvia heater and control unit are assessed under the Harvia manufacturer's warranty. Where a warranty claim is accepted, Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd may authorise a repair or replacement of the defective component at its discretion. Customer-replaceable components may be supplied directly where appropriate. Replacement warranty parts are normally dispatched within 48 hours of an approved claim, subject to stock availability.

Where additional investigation is required, Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd reserves the right to appoint an authorised representative or independent inspector to assess the product. Travel or call-out charges may apply where the installation falls outside an authorised retailer's normal service area or where the reported fault is found not to be covered by this warranty.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only while the sauna remains installed at its original domestic installation address within the United Kingdom. The warranty period begins on the original date of delivery. The sauna must be installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the installation, operating and maintenance instructions supplied with the product.

This warranty does not cover defects, failures or damage resulting from:

  1. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic ageing, fading or surface marks.
  2. Natural timber movement, expansion, contraction, splitting, warping, resin bleed, colour change or weathering inherent to a natural material used outdoors.
  3. Failure to treat, seal, oil or otherwise maintain the timber as recommended in the supplied instructions.
  4. Improper installation, relocation or transportation.
  5. Installation or electrical connection of the Harvia heater or control unit by anyone other than a qualified electrician working in accordance with BS 7671, or the absence of a valid Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
  6. Misuse, abuse, negligence or accidental damage.
  7. Commercial, rental or public use.
  8. Failure to follow the installation, operating or maintenance instructions.
  9. Exposure to extreme weather, standing water, flooding, freezing, power surges or other events beyond reasonable control.
  10. Repairs or servicing carried out by anyone other than Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd, Harvia, or an authorised service representative.
  11. Unauthorised alterations or modifications.
  12. Continued use of the sauna or heater after a fault has become apparent.
  13. The use of non-approved replacement parts or accessories.
  14. Damage occurring during transportation by anyone other than Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd or an authorised retailer.

This warranty is limited to defects arising from manufacturing or material faults and does not include labour charges, transportation, crane hire, removal, reinstallation or consequential losses unless required by applicable law. Replacement components supplied under this warranty remain covered only for the unexpired balance of the original warranty period.

Genuine Parts & Accessories

To ensure optimum safety, reliability and long-term performance, only genuine replacement parts and Oasis Outdoor Living approved accessories should be used, and only genuine Harvia parts should be fitted to the Harvia heater and control unit. The use of non-approved replacement parts or accessories may invalidate this warranty where they are found to have contributed to the failure.

Service Commitment

Upon receipt of all required warranty information and supporting documentation, Oasis Outdoor Living UK Ltd aims to acknowledge warranty claims within two working days. Our experienced after-sales team will keep customers informed throughout the warranty process and work to resolve approved warranty claims as quickly as possible.
