• The Access Video: The Impulse is a circular spa with a 199cm diameter. Its major advantage is its low profile; at just 79cm high, it is the easiest model in our range to fit through standard gates. We require a video walk-through from the kerb to the base so we can plan the perfect route for your delivery.
• The Metrics: Because it is under 80cm high, it can often be moved on its side through routes that would be impossible for larger tubs.

2. Limited Access?

• Pathway Width: Minimum 840mm (79cm depth + 50mm buffer).
• Cornering: While it’s slim, it is still nearly 2 metres long when on its side. We will check your video for "pinch points" where the length might struggle with 90-degree corners.

3. Manufacture & Preparation

5. Site Preparation

IMPORTANT: PROPERTY REQUIREMENTS VARY. Domestic and commercial wiring standards differ across the UK. You must consult a qualified, registered electrician to conduct a site-specific assessment of your property’s load capacity.

1. Professional Responsibility & Boundaries

To ensure total transparency, please note the division of responsibility:

• OUR ROLE: We are professional spa technicians. We handle the physical placement of the spa and the final connection from your pre-installed isolator to the spa's internal control system.
• YOUR ROLE: You are responsible for the provision of the electrical supply. We are not domestic electricians and are not qualified or insured to install house wiring, breakers, or isolators. This infrastructure must be completed and tested by your electrician before we arrive.

2. The Specification (16 Amp Performance)

The Impulse is a high-performance, hardwired spa. Unlike lower-powered "Plug & Play" models, the 16 Amp supply ensures the 2kW heater remains active even when the 2-speed pump is on high, which is essential for maintaining temperature in rental environments.

3. Installation Mandatory Requirements

• Rotary Isolator: A waterproof IP65-rated rotary isolator must be installed. For safety compliance, this must be positioned between 2 and 3 metres from the spa.
• The "Tail" Cable: Your electrician must provide a length of 3-core SWA Armoured Cable connected to the load side of the isolator.
• Required Length: Please leave at least 5 metres of spare cable coiled at the isolator location. Our team will route this through the Impulse cabinet for the final connection.
• Prohibition of Extensions: This spa must never be connected via an extension lead or a standard 13A socket. This is a significant fire risk and will immediately void your warranty.

4. Arrival Readiness

Our delivery team is on a strict schedule to ensure all customers receive their "one hour before arrival" call and a professional setup. If we arrive and the electrical supply is not ready or is unsafe:

1. We will not make the electrical connection.
2. The spa will be left empty and cannot be commissioned or tested.

A Return Visit Fee will be charged to come back and complete the connection once your electrician has rectified the supply.

2. Precision Placement for Compliance

• Base Evaluation: We verify your base is level and structurally sound. For Holiday Let compliance (HSG282), the spa must be perfectly level to ensure accurate water displacement and effective surface skimming—key for bather safety.
• Orientation: We will consult with you on the best placement for the 4-button Topside Control Pad. For rental properties, we recommend positioning the controls where they are easily visible to guests but sheltered from high-traffic "splash zones."

• Supply-Related Damage: Any damage to the spa’s control board, heater, or pumps caused by an inadequate supply, "voltage drop," or incorrect wiring at the consumer unit is not covered. The use of extension leads or 13A "Plug & Play" conversions will immediately void all electrical warranties.

3. Commercial & Residential Maintenance

• Chemical Balance: In high-usage (HSG282) settings, water chemistry must be monitored strictly. Damage to pump seals or the heater element caused by imbalanced pH or excessive chlorine levels is not covered under the 3-year equipment tier.
• Winterization: Damage caused by frozen water in the plumbing lines is excluded. If the spa is not in use during winter, it must be professionally winterized or kept powered on to allow the frost-protection sensors to operate.

At Balance Recovery, we supply premium Cove spas. Because these are specialised wellness products, often prepared or configured to order, our returns and refunds policy reflects their nature. Your statutory rights are preserved in full throughout.

1. Eligibility — Special Orders and Hot Tubs

• Special Orders: Special orders are prepared specifically to your requirements and are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Hot Tubs: Cove hot tubs are non-returnable unless under warranty.
• Change of Mind: Because these items are specialised and, where applicable, configured to order, we cannot accept returns or refunds for a "change of mind".
• Accuracy: Please verify all site dimensions, specifications and technical requirements before finalising your order.

2. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend your order at any time before it is confirmed for production or dispatch.
• After Confirmation: Once a special order has been confirmed for manufacture or dispatch, cancellations and amendments may no longer be possible.
• Accuracy Check: Amendments after order placement are subject to confirmation and may not be possible once your specification has been released.

3. Reporting Transit Damage or Missing Items

• Inspect on Delivery: Check all items carefully as soon as they arrive, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
• Timeframe: Report any transit damage or missing parts promptly — within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Evidence: Email contact@balancerecovery.co.uk with clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or shortage, together with your order details.

4. Claim and Assessment Procedure

• Submission: Send your report, proof of purchase and delivery date, and supporting photographs or video to contact@balancerecovery.co.uk.
• Assessment: We assess each claim and, where required, liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the fault or shortage.
• Outcome: Once assessed, we coordinate the appropriate remedy — repair, replacement of parts, full replacement or refund — in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Refund and Replacement Conditions

• Covered Circumstances: Refunds or replacements are provided only where goods are defective, damaged in transit or not as described.
• Not Covered: Change of mind, incorrect measurement or specification supplied by the customer, and normal characteristics of natural materials are not grounds for return of special orders or hot tubs.
• Remedy: Where a valid fault is confirmed, we arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under your statutory rights.

6. Statutory Rights and Compliance

• Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: Bespoke and made-to-order goods are legally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance selling.
• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged-in-transit or misdescribed goods remain fully protected, regardless of the exemption above.
