4. Preparation Checklist (Pre-Delivery) Two areas of preparation are essential:

• The Foundation: Provide a solid, level base engineered to support the structure plus the "live load" of water and users. The Taurus Grand weighs approximately 1,300 kg empty; once the integrated hot tub is filled and occupied, the loaded weight is considerably higher, so your base (reinforced concrete, slab or structurally rated alternative) must be rated well above the dry weight and be perfectly level.
• Electrical Requirements: Electrical installation is the customer's responsibility, and the Taurus Classic requires a three-phase supply. Consult a qualified electrician before ordering. We provide the specific wiring and heater manuals in advance so they can prepare the correct armoured cabling and RCD protection.

5. Delivery & Inspection

• Palletised Arrival: Your sauna arrives securely palletised and weather-wrapped to protect the timber.
• Integrated Assistance: Kerbside delivery is standard; where access permits, our crew gets the pallet as close to position as possible and assists in carrying the individual components to your installation site.
• The 24-Hour Rule: Once unpacked, check all components carefully. To maintain warranty eligibility, any missing or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours.

6. Installation Pathways

• Option A — Internal Installation Team: We deploy 2–3 qualified carpenters to assemble on-site, with most builds completed in one working day (larger bespoke structures may take longer). The fee covers the build; travel is free within Mainland UK (England). Channel Islands, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Wight and Guernsey are quoted separately. For the Taurus Grand, the hot tub is positioned and connected as part of installation.
• Option B — Independent Carpenter: If you don't use our team, we strongly recommend a qualified carpenter handles assembly to factory specification.

7. Warranty Validation & Handover

• Essential Wood Treatment: Immediately apply a breathable wood oil to the interior and exterior to protect the timber from moisture and UV damage while letting it "breathe" through heat cycles.

The Taurus Grand is made to order, and the sauna heater is selected as part of your configuration. Because the Grand is a large cabin, Celsium offers a focused set of higher-output heaters suited to its volume — you choose electric, wood-burning or a hybrid infrared set-up. Electric Heaters

• Harvia Cilindro (Steel) — 10.8 kW · recommended room volume approx. 9–18 m³. Cylindrical stainless-steel heater with a tall, generous stone column for soft, enveloping steam.
• Harvia Legend (Black LCD, Wi-Fi) — 10.8 kW · recommended room volume ~9–18 m³  — exact Legend 10.8 kW figure). Premium pillar-style heater with a large stone mass and app/Wi-Fi control for a powerful, traditional heat.
• HUUM HIVE Mini — 10.5 kW · recommended room volume approx. 10–16 m³. Minimalist basket design with a large visible stone volume and optional Wi-Fi control.
• Tulikivi Halla E — 9 kW · recommended room volume ~5–15 m³ — comparable Tulikivi 9 kW figure). Sleek Finnish design heater with soft, rounded lines and optional Wi-Fi control.

Wood-Burning Heater

• Harvia Legend 150 — 16 kW (internal or external loading) · recommended room volume approx. 6–13 m³. Traditional wood-fired stove for authentic löyly and off-grid heat; needs no electrical connection to the heater (a flue/chimney and building-control sign-off apply instead). Choose internal loading (feed from inside the sauna) or external loading (feed from outside the cabin).

Hybrid Infrared (Optional)

Electrical Supply & Installation Of Celsium Taurus Grand

There is no single electrical requirement for the Taurus Grand — it depends entirely on the heater you configure. Most of the Grand's electric options are higher-output units (10.5–10.8 kW), and heaters at this rating — together with all HUUM electric heaters — are wired as a dedicated three-phase 400 V (3N~) hard-wired supply. A wood-burning Taurus Grand needs no electrical supply to the heater at all (only a flue and building-control sign-off). The optional hybrid infrared radiators run on a 230 V supply.

Figures are quoted from the manufacturers' official datasheets/installation manuals for the model or its closest comparable, and are indicative. The exact fuse, cable, RCD/earth-leakage and clearance requirements for your unit are given in the chosen heater's own manual (see Heater Information) — always follow that document. Celsium does not publish a single supply spec for the Taurus Grand.

How to Read the Supply

As a rough guide, current (amps) = power (watts) ÷ voltage (volts). A 10.8 kW heater on a single 230 V line would draw roughly 47 A (10,800 ÷ 230) — impractical for a domestic radial — which is why 10.5–10.8 kW heaters run on a three-phase 400 V supply, spreading the load across three lines to about 15–16 A per phase (hence the 3 × 16 A fuse). Lower-output 6–9 kW heaters can sometimes run single-phase, but the Grand's electric options are higher-output.

Installation Requirements (customer's responsibility)

• All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician and certified to BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• The heater must be on its own dedicated radial circuit, hard-wired (not a plug-and-socket connection).
• Provide appropriate RCD/RCBO protection and a local isolator switch at the heater, as specified in the heater manual.
• Use heat-resistant cable as specified by the manufacturer — HUUM requires heat-resistant rubber cable (e.g. SIHF); PVC is not permitted.
• If a hot-tub heat pump / water heater or whirlpool pump is fitted, add those loads when sizing the incoming supply — size for the whole installation.
• Electrical supply provision and installation are the customer's responsibility; we provide the relevant heater manuals in advance so your electrician can prepare the correct cabling and protection.

• Site Preparation: Must be placed on a level, solid foundation to prevent warping or moisture ingress.
• Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including wood treatment and cleaning per the manual, is required for continued validity.

4. General Exclusions

• Natural Wood Characteristics: Minor discolouration, dimensional change or small cracks from humidity are not defects.
• Environmental Damage: Damage from extreme weather, or improper storage of unassembled units left over 1 year.
• Improper Use: Operating above recommended temperatures or use other than intended.
• Unauthorised Repairs: Any modification or attempted repair by non-authorised personnel voids the warranty.

3. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend within 24 hours of placing your order.
• Administration Fees: Cancellations after this window but before fabrication begins incur a 10% fee covering administration and material allocation.
• Post-Fabrication: Once production has begun, cancellations cannot be facilitated.
