Because each hot tub is made to order to your chosen specification, we follow a meticulous process to ensure your delivery and set-up are seamless and transparent. Below is the step-by-step journey from your initial order to your first soak.

1. Consultation, Place Your Order & Site Assessment Your journey begins with choosing your Benas EX — size (Ø 2 m or Ø 2.25 m), liner, exterior finish and accessories. We invite you to schedule a personalised consultation with our specialist team to discuss your project.

• Proactive Logistics: Before your hot tub enters production, we consult our "last-mile" delivery team to verify property access and site details, as the Benas EX is delivered fully assembled.
• Bespoke Confirmation: Once we're confident the site is accessible and the specification is correct, your order is officially logged.

2. Handcrafted Production Celsium hot tubs are handcrafted to order, not mass-produced.

• The Timeline: Due to the bespoke nature, the production lead time is approximately 6 weeks.
• Total Lead Time: With an additional ~2 weeks for secure transit and delivery coordination, the total journey from order to doorstep is approximately 8 weeks.

3. Delivery (Fully Pre-Assembled)

• Complimentary Delivery: Delivery to your kerbside is free of charge across UK Mainland.
• Pre-Assembled: Unlike our flat-pack saunas, the Benas EX arrives complete and ready to use — no on-site build required. A forklift or crane may be needed for unloading and positioning depending on access; we can help coordinate this.

4. Preparation Checklist (Pre-Delivery)

• The Foundation: Provide a solid, level base able to support the tub plus the "live load" of water and occupants, and a stable position for the external stove. Water alone adds roughly 1,000–1,400 kg depending on size, so a reinforced concrete pad, slab or structurally rated base is essential, and it must be perfectly level.
• No Electrical Supply Required to Heat: The Benas EX is wood-fired, so no mains hook-up is needed to warm the water. If you add optional RGB LED lighting, arrange a suitable low-voltage supply with a qualified electrician.
• Stove Clearances & Ventilation: Position the external stove with safe clearances and keep combustibles clear — we'll provide the guidance for your build.

5. Delivery & Inspection

• Palletised, Pre-Assembled Arrival: Your hot tub arrives securely palletised and weather-wrapped, fully assembled.
• Integrated Assistance: Kerbside delivery is standard; where access permits, our crew helps position the tub as close to its final location as possible.
• The 24-Hour Rule: On delivery, inspect the tub carefully. To maintain warranty eligibility, any damage must be reported within 24 hours.

6. Positioning, Filling & First Fire

• Position & Fill: Set the tub and external stove on the prepared, level base and fill with clean water.
• First Fire: Light the external stove; the water reaches a comfortable temperature in around 1.5–2 hours. Never light the stove without water circulating.
• Water Care: Maintain water quality with appropriate treatment, keep the optional cover on between soaks to retain heat, and drain down in hard frost if not in use.

7. Aftercare & Ongoing Support

• Aftercare: Periodically clean the liner and inspect the stove and timber exterior; re-treat natural timber as needed for your local climate.

Heater Information

The Benas EX is heated by an external, wood-fired premium stove, mounted outside the tub so the full interior stays free for bathers. It is built from AISI 304 stainless steel as standard, with an AISI 316 stainless steel upgrade available for enhanced corrosion resistance in salt, chlorine or coastal conditions. An optional 90° stove-connection (flue) kit is available to route the chimney to suit your installation. From a cold start, the stove warms the water to a comfortable soaking temperature in approximately 1.5–2 hours, depending on size, starting water temperature and conditions.

Safe Operation

• Never light the stove without water in the tub covering the heater — firing it dry can cause serious damage and is unsafe.
• Keep combustibles clear of the stove and flue at all times, and observe safe clearances from fences, structures and overhanging foliage.
• Set the external stove on a stable, non-combustible footing, and supervise it while lit; keep children and pets at a safe distance.
• Full operating and water-care guidance is supplied with your Benas EX .

Optional Electric Heating & Equipment

The Benas EX is wood-fired and needs no electricity to heat. For faster heating, or to top up the temperature without lighting the stove, Celsium offers an optional electric water heater in 3 kW, 6 kW or 9 kW ratings as an add-on to the wood stove (this requires a suitable mains supply — see Electrical Supply). Further optional, electrically powered equipment includes a hydro massage system (1.1 kW), an air bubble massage system (0.7 kW), an antibacterial UV lamp and water filtration (sand-filter options). These are configured at the time of order; none are fitted unless selected.

Electrical Supply & Installation Requirements — Celsium Benas X

 The external stove heats the water by wood fire alone, so there is no mains hook-up and no running cost to warm your hot tub.

If you add optional electrics, a suitable supply is required. Any of the optional, electrically powered features below need a suitable mains electrical supply, designed and installed by a qualified electrician to current UK standards — a dedicated circuit, RCD protection, and full compliance with BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations) — using outdoor-rated, weatherproof components appropriate to an outdoor installation.

Optional electrics that require a supply:

• RGB LED lighting (low-voltage)
• Optional electric water heater — 3 kW, 6 kW or 9 kW (add-on for faster or top-up heating)
• Hydro massage system (1.1 kW) and/or air bubble massage system (0.7 kW)

Celsium does not publish the voltage, phase, amperage or circuit rating for the optional electric water heater or the massage/UV/filtration equipment; the exact supply requirement should be confirmed with Celsium and specified by your electrician before installation. 

Please note: The Benas EX does not include or offer a heat pump or chiller. It is a wood-fired hot tub; where additional or electric heating is wanted, the options are the electric water heater (3 / 6 / 9 kW) and the massage, UV and filtration equipment listed above — not a heat pump or chiller. (Celsium's separate electric dual-temperature product is a different model and is not part of the Benas EX range.)

2. Natural Material Disclosure

• Crafted from sustainably sourced timber: Every unit shows distinct grain, knots and texture; final shading may vary slightly from images or samples; minor surface "shakes" (small cracks) may occur as the wood adapts — none of these are defects.

3. Order Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellation Window: You may cancel or amend within 24 hours of placing your order.
• Administration Fees: Cancellations after this window but before fabrication begins incur a 10% fee covering administration and material allocation.
• Post-Fabrication: Once production has begun, cancellations cannot be facilitated.
