Product Description -

Balance Recovery Aurora Outdoor Sauna — Thermowood Cabin, Full Glass Front, Curved Shingle Roof

The Balance Recovery Aurora is a premium outdoor cabin sauna for 4–6 people, designed to bring spa-grade sauna bathing into the garden. Built as a single, generous steam room behind a full-height glazed front, it combines a bold, contemporary silhouette with the warm, natural character of thermally-modified Thermowood.

The rounded cube form is finished with a curved black bitumen-shingle roof and measures approximately 300 × 240 × 200 cm (L × W × H), with 40 mm / 28 mm Thermowood walls and a build weight of around 850 kg. The full footprint is the sauna room — there is no separate porch, canopy or changing area.

Inside, two-tier benches run down both long sides, facing each other, for a sociable layout at your preferred height. The interior showcases the Aurora's signature juniper log-end detailing — densely-packed cross-cut juniper rounds to the bench fronts and a wall band — while integrated RGB LED mood lighting tunes the atmosphere from bright and fresh to deep and relaxing.

The Aurora is supplied as a complete kit with a Harvia heater included as standard. Sized to the cabin's glazed volume, a Harvia Cilindro PC90 9kW heater is supplied with sauna stones included, delivering a clean, thermostat-controlled dry heat — please read the Heater Information and Electrical Supply tabs before installation.

Shipped flat-pack as a palletised complete kit, the Aurora can be self-assembled or fitted by our professional installation team. Made to order, with free kerbside UK delivery and unloading included.

Safety & Usage

Sauna bathing is a wellness activity for healthy adults. Stay hydrated, limit each session to what is comfortable for you, and allow time to cool down afterwards. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical concern, please consult your GP before use. The heater and stones get very hot (burn risk) — keep children clear and never place combustible materials on or near the heater. Supervise children at all times, keep the cabin ventilated, and site it on a firm, level base able to take the weight.

Buying Guide +

Balance Recovery Aurora Outdoor Sauna — 4–6 Person Cabin

Who it's for & sizing. The Aurora suits households and groups that want a design-led, year-round garden sauna with room to share. Its single steam room and facing two-tier benches are sized for 4–6 people allow space around the external footprint of approximately 300 × 240 cm for clearance, ventilation and safe access, plus room to prepare a firm, level base.

1. Place your order

Choose your Aurora and complete your order; you will receive a confirmation with your order details and reference number. The estimated delivery time is typically 6–8 weeks. You are welcome to send us a short video or photos of your access route in advance, as the Aurora is delivered kerbside.

2. Order processing & manufacturing

Each Aurora is handcrafted to order from premium Thermowood and shipped as a palletised flat-pack complete kit. Your kit includes the cabin components, curved shingle roof covering, full-height glazed front and glass door, two-tier benches, signature juniper log-end detailing, RGB LED lighting, the Harvia Cilindro PC90 9kW heater with sauna stones, 2× headrests, and a bucket, ladle & thermometer set, together with fixings and the illustrated assembly manual.

3. Delivery organisation – FREE kerbside delivery & unloading

Your Aurora is delivered on a pallet with free kerbside delivery and unloading included. The delivery team unloads the pallet from the vehicle to the nearest safe kerbside point at your property, with the date and time confirmed in advance. Kerbside delivery does not include moving components beyond the kerbside or positioning the sauna on its base.

4. Pre-installation preparation

Prepare a level, solid foundation able to support the assembled cabin (build weight approx. 850 kg) — for example a concrete pad or suitably-bearing slabs — with clearance and ventilation around the unit. Arrange a dedicated single-phase electrical supply for the heater, with correct cable sizing and a suitably-rated isolator, ready for a qualified electrician (see the Electrical Supply tab).

5. Delivery day & unloading

On delivery day the team unloads the pallet at the kerbside. You are responsible for moving the components from the kerbside to the installation area and positioning them on the prepared base. Please inspect everything on arrival and report any missing or damaged items within 24 hours.

6. Installation options

The Aurora is supplied as a complete flat-pack kit for self-assembly, typically a 1–3 day job for two people using the illustrated manual. Alternatively, choose our professional installation service at a fixed price of £[CONFIRM] + VAT, covering mainland UK (England); surcharges apply to certain outlying areas. Electrical connection is not included and must be completed by a qualified electrician.

7. Finishing touches & safety check

Once assembled, treat the timber inside and out with an appropriate breathable, oil-based wood treatment — this is mandatory to validate your warranty. Complete the electrical connection with a qualified electrician, then run a first warm-up to around 80 °C to check the heater and lighting before your first session.

8. Enjoy your sauna & ongoing support

Your Aurora is ready to deliver a premium outdoor wellness experience for up to six people. Professionally installed saunas carry a 2-year warranty; self-assembled saunas include a 1-year warranty (provided all installation and finishing guidelines are followed). As a made-to-order item it is non-refundable once production begins — please see the Return & Refund Policy tab. Our UK team is on hand for ongoing support and aftercare.

Heater Information +

Balance Recovery Aurora Outdoor Sauna Heater Information

The Balance Recovery Aurora is supplied with a Harvia heater included as standard, matched to the cabin and supplied with sauna stones. Because the Aurora is a large, fully glazed-front cabin — and glass loses more heat than a solid timber wall — it is fitted with a heater from the top of the range to ensure a fast, even heat-up.

Harvia Cilindro PC90 (9 kW)

The Aurora comes with a Harvia Cilindro PC90 9kW electric heater — a floor-standing cylindrical stainless-steel column packed with sauna stones — an ideal and well-matched choice for a cabin of this size and glazing. It offers reliable, even performance while remaining efficient for the Aurora's volume.

With a heating range suited to larger cabins, the Cilindro PC90 is perfectly sized for the Aurora's glazed steam room of approximately 8.5 m³. For a full-glass front, the 9kW output strikes an excellent balance between heat-up time and efficiency, giving a clean, thermostat-controlled dry heat.

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician before your sauna arrives to ensure the electrical supply, cable sizing and isolator meet requirements (see the Electrical Supply tab). All Harvia Cilindro 90 heaters are supplied with stones included.

Electrical Supply - IMPORTANT +

The Balance Recovery Aurora Outdoor Sauna Electrical Supply

The electrical supply required will depend on the kW rating of your sauna heater. The Aurora is supplied with a Harvia Cilindro PC90 9kW heater, and we strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician before any installation.

Typically, a dedicated supply is required — similar to those used for electric showers or cookers. Most domestic sauna heaters in the UK are connected to a single-phase 230V supply, and the Amps can be calculated using: Watts ÷ Volts = Amps.

For example: a 9kW (9000W) heater ÷ 230V = approximately 40 Amps.

Heater Power (kW)

Current Draw (Amps)

Suggested Cable Size (Single-Phase)

10 Amps

26 Amps

4.0 mm²

8.0 kW

35 Amps

6.0 mm²

9.0 kW

40 Amps

6.0 mm² (or higher, depending on cable run)

Cable size depends on cable length, installation method, and other on-site factors. Always defer to your electrician's judgment. We strongly advise that installation is carried out by a fully qualified electrician using a dedicated single-phase supply, correct cable sizing and a suitably-rated isolator switch, and that all work complies with current wiring regulations (e.g. BS 7671 in the UK). Completing the installation correctly also helps maintain your warranty protection.

The Aurora's Harvia Cilindro PC90 9kW heater is supplied with stones included and is connected on a dedicated circuit by a qualified electrician.
