2. Humid Steam-Rich Sauna: Lower heat (45°C–60°C) with the air valve fully open for intense, soft steam.
3. Mild, Relaxing Sauna: Gentle heat (40°C–55°C) ideal for longer, restorative sessions.
4. Salt Ion Therapy: Active fan circulation to distribute Himalayan salt ions.

Installing a Saunum system requires a slightly different approach to a standard heater because you are powering two distinct components:

• The Heating Elements: Depending on the kilowatt size, this will require either a dedicated Single-Phase (230V) supply for domestic models up to 9kW, or a Three-Phase (400V) supply for larger commercial units.
• The Climate Device: The integrated fan system requires its own continuous Single-Phase connection to operate.
• Note: All electrical work must be carried out by a fully qualified electrician to ensure compliance with UK wiring regulations.

Absolutely. Upgrading to a Saunum heater is one of the most effective ways to fix poor ventilation or "cold feet" in an older sauna without rebuilding the entire room. However, because these heaters feature a tall vertical air-intake channel, you must check your cabin’s dimensions against the model's minimum ceiling height requirement (which generally ranges from 1800mm to 2100mm, depending on whether you choose an open or closed stone basket design).

 Saunum heaters are operated via a sleek, dedicated digital control panel (such as the highly-rated Leil system). These touchscreen interfaces are typically mounted outside the sauna room and allow you to precisely regulate the temperature, adjust the climate device's fan speed (usually 3 distinct levels), and manage lighting. Most modern Saunum control units are also Wi-Fi enabled, allowing you to pre-heat your sauna and set your preferred climate mode directly from your smartphone.

To ensure the patented air-blending system works efficiently, you must use high-quality, split-face sauna stones (such as Olivine Diabase) with a diameter of 5–10 cm. The stones must be placed carefully into the basket, leaving enough space for air to circulate freely. Depending on the model, a Saunum heater will hold between 40kg and 90kg of stones to guarantee a soft, long-lasting löyly (steam).
