A 32-amp hot tub is a high-performance spa designed for users who want a professional hydrotherapy experience without compromise. Unlike "Plug and Play" models, a 32-amp supply allows the 3kW heater and multiple high-power jet pumps to run at the same time. This means the water stays at your perfect temperature even during long winter sessions with all the massage jets on full power.

Because of the high power draw, these tubs cannot be plugged into a standard socket. Under UK Building Regulations (Part P), they must be hard-wired:

• Dedicated Circuit: A dedicated line must be run from your home's consumer unit (fuse box) on its own 32-amp breaker.
• Armoured Cable: We recommend using 6mm² 3-core SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable to protect against garden tools and weather.
• Rotary Isolator: An IP65-rated waterproof isolator switch must be installed at least 2 metres away from the tub for safety and maintenance.

Note: All electrical work must be completed and certified by a qualified electrician.

No. Attempting to run a 32-amp spa on a standard domestic socket will trip your breakers and potentially damage the internal control board (e.g., Balboa or Gecko systems). If you do not have a 32-amp supply yet but want a high-end tub, we recommend having the electrics installed first to unlock the full performance of your spa.
