ATA stands for Atmospheres Absolute. A 1.5 ATA chamber creates an internal environment where the pressure is 50% higher than standard sea-level pressure.

• The Sweet Spot: It is often called this because it bridges the gap between "mild" wellness chambers (1.3 ATA) and "clinical" hospital units (2.0 ATA+). It offers a significantly deeper level of oxygen saturation for athletic recovery and chronic management while remaining safe and affordable enough for home use without medical supervision.

The difference lies in oxygen saturation. According to Henry's Law, as pressure increases, more gas dissolves into a liquid.

• 1.3 ATA: Excellent for general wellbeing, relaxation, and mild anti-ageing.
• 1.5 ATA: Drives oxygen much deeper into the blood plasma, tissues, and lymph fluid. This higher pressure is often preferred by athletes for flushing out lactic acid, accelerating muscle repair, and managing deep-seated inflammation that mild pressure may not reach.

Yes. While standard soft chambers are limited to 1.3 ATA, our 1.5 ATA Soft Shell collection features "Elite" or "Pro" models. These are constructed from reinforced, heavy-duty TPU with external expansion belts or a thicker nylon outer jacket to safely withstand the higher internal pressure. They offer the performance of a higher-pressure unit with the portability of a soft shell.

• Durability: A hard shell chamber (stainless steel or polycarbonate) is rigid and does not expand. It reaches 1.5 ATA effortlessly and can often go higher (up to 2.0 ATA) if you wish to "future-proof" your investment.
• Comfort: Hard shells are generally easier to enter (via sliding doors) and often feature superior temperature control, which can be beneficial as 1.5 ATA sessions generate slightly more heat than 1.3 ATA sessions.

Yes, 1.5 ATA is widely considered safe for private use. However, the physical sensation is more pronounced than in mild chambers.

• Ear Clearing: You will feel a stronger "ear popping" sensation (similar to a plane landing) during pressurisation. You must be comfortable clearing your ears.
• Protocols: Because the pressure is higher, we recommend strictly adhering to the recommended session durations (typically 60–90 minutes) to prevent oxygen toxicity, although this risk remains extremely low at 1.5 ATA compared to clinical pressures.

To maximise the benefits of 1.5 ATA, you breathe concentrated oxygen (93%–96%) through a face mask or headset.

• The Concentrator: Your chamber must be paired with a high-performance 10L Oxygen Concentrator. This ensures that even at higher pressures, you receive a consistent flow of high-purity oxygen to breathe, while the chamber itself is pressurised with standard filtered air.

 For optimal therapeutic results at this pressure:

• Duration: A standard session is usually 60 to 90 minutes.
• Frequency: Users typically start with 4–5 sessions a week for an initial "loading phase" of 4 weeks, before dropping down to 2–3 maintenance sessions per week.
