We were tasked with delivering a highly durable, high-capacity environment that made absolutely no compromises on bespoke, luxurious design.

At 100 square meters, the room's sheer volume allows for an expansive, three-tiered seating arrangement. This ensures that whether the facility is hosting a packed wellness event or catering to a steady flow of daily members, every occupant enjoys a profound sense of personal space and uncrowded luxury.
The "Fire-Esque" Ceiling Masterpiece
To ensure the vast ceiling didn't feel flat or clinical, we engineered a breathtaking, custom architectural focal point. Integrated directly into the roof is an incredible, bespoke timber design inspired by the dynamic, warming movement of fire. This radiant, flowing centrepiece draws the eye upward, giving this enormous room a distinct, artistic soul that leaves a lasting impression on every guest.
Mastering the Woodwork: Fluted Elegance and Breathability
In high-traffic commercial saunas, the interior woodwork must be exceptionally durable while maintaining an elite, five-star aesthetic.
Dynamic Textures
Across the expansive back walls and beneath each tiered bench, we utilised refined, short-fluted panels. This intricate texture adds layers of visual depth and a modern, rhythmic elegance to the sweeping walls.
Ergonomic Breathability
For the seating surfaces, we adapted the design to feature a wider, fluted profile. This brilliant design choice not only creates a subtle visual contrast but also provides a highly breathable feel for the occupants. It allows heat to circulate freely around the body, ensuring maximum comfort even during extended, traditional Finnish sauna sessions.
Luxurious Support
To complement the expansive seating, we installed long, beautifully contoured backrests that provide unparalleled ergonomic support for guests, allowing them to sink into the experience fully.
The Atmosphere: A Warm, Immersive Glow
Lighting in a commercial wellness space dictates the entire mood. We integrated a sophisticated ambient LED lighting system that completely transforms the 100 m² room. Concealed behind the long, luxurious backrests and tucked beneath all three levels of the sweeping benches, the LEDs cast a soft, deeply warming glow. This deliberate, indirect lighting washes over the fluted wood, creating a cocoon of golden, therapeutic light that immediately calms the nervous system upon entering.

The Traditional Finnish Experience
By centralising these powerful units, we created a phenomenal, even heat distribution (the löyly pocket) across the entire room. Whenever an instructor or guest ladles water over the massive volume of stones, it produces a rich, soft, and enveloping traditional Finnish heat that reaches every corner of the grand space flawlessly.
