A hybrid sauna is a sophisticated wellness solution that integrates two distinct heating technologies: Infrared Radiant Heat and Traditional Steam. This allows you to choose your experience based on your recovery goals. You can enjoy the dry, targeted warmth of infrared panels for deep muscle penetration or switch to the high-heat, humid environment of a traditional Finnish steam session using a classic heater and stones.

Most hybrid systems are designed for sequential use.

• Infrared Mode: Operates at lower ambient temperatures (45°C–60°C), allowing radiant waves to penetrate the skin effectively.
• Traditional Mode: Operates at much higher temperatures (70°C–90°C+). We recommend choosing one mode per session to ensure the most effective therapeutic outcome and to protect the longevity of the heating components.

The hybrid advantage allows for a broader spectrum of wellness outcomes in one unit:

• Deep Tissue Recovery: Infrared wavelengths target joints and muscle fibres to reduce inflammation and DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness).

• Expert Connection: While we handle the physical build of the sauna, the final electrical connection of the heaters and control panels must be completed by a qualified Part P electrician hired by the customer.

• Important: Please note that our installation service is for the physical structure only; we do not provide electrical wiring or heater commissioning.

Maintenance is straightforward but essential for longevity:

• Internal Timber: Keep the wood dry and untreated. We recommend wiping down the benches after each session.
• Heater Stones: Periodically check the stones in the traditional heater; they should be rearranged or replaced every 1–2 years to ensure optimal airflow.
• Infrared Panels: These are solid-state and virtually maintenance-free, only requiring a light dusting occasionally.
