As these units are custom-built and then safely transported to the UK, our typical delivery window is 3to 5 weeks. We manage the entire logistics process to ensure your ice bath arrives in perfect condition, ready for installation.

No permanent plumbing is required. Balance Recovery Ice Baths can be filled using a standard garden hose. For drainage, most models feature a dedicated drain valve that can be connected to a hose to guide water to a suitable drainage point.

If you are choosing a model with an integrated water chiller and filtration system, you will need access to a standard UK 13-amp outdoor waterproof socket. We recommend having a qualified electrician ensure your power supply is safe and sufficient for the unit before delivery.

Absolutely. The materials used in the Balance Recovery collection, particularly the thermowood and fiberglass, are chosen specifically for their ability to withstand the UK's changing weather. We do recommend using an insulated cover (often available as an add-on) to keep debris out and maintain the water temperature efficiently.

For models with integrated filtration, the system works to keep water clear, but you will still need to perform basic maintenance. This includes rinsing the filter every 2–3 weeks and using mild sanitizers. For tubs without filtration, we recommend changing the water every 1-2 weeks depending on the frequency of use.
