Holl’s & France Sauna – How It Works Guide
Ensuring a Smooth, Safe, and Professional Sauna Delivery Experience
This guide outlines the complete process from placing your order to installation, safety checks, and aftercare. Following these steps will help ensure a seamless delivery and setup of your Holl’s Sauna or France Sauna, whether you are installing it at home or in a professional wellness environment.
1. Place Your Order
Choose your preferred Holl’s Sauna or France Sauna model — whether infrared, traditional indoor, hybrid, or outdoor. Complete your purchase through our website, providing your delivery address.
The price listed includes delivery within mainland UK (exclusions include the Channel Islands, areas of Scotland, and Ireland).
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately with your order details, estimated delivery timeframe, and next steps.
To ensure smooth access on the day of delivery, we may request photos or a short video of the delivery area, access routes, or surrounding space. This helps our logistics team confirm delivery feasibility and kerbside unloading requirements.
All saunas are held in our UK warehouse and prepared for dispatch once your order is confirmed. Kerbside delivery and unloading are included at no additional cost.
2. Order Processing & Preparation
Once your order is confirmed, your sauna is scheduled for preparation and dispatch.
Our saunas are crafted from premium-grade wood, selected for durability, insulation, and aesthetic quality.
All components — including the cabin structure, benches, glazing, and heating elements — are prepared, quality checked, and securely packaged for shipment.
3. Delivery Organisation
When your sauna is ready, we organise pallet delivery of the flat-pack components to your address (kerbside).
You will be notified of:
Delivery date
Estimated time window
Any access requirements (e.g., suitable driveway space for pallet trucks)
Your sauna is dispatched directly from our UK warehouse, and unloading is included at no additional charge.
4. Pre-Installation Preparation
Before delivery, please ensure:
A suitable foundation
The base must be level, stable, and capable of supporting the sauna’s full weight, including that of its occupants.
Clear access
Access routes should be unobstructed to facilitate the movement of pallets and components.
Electrical Preparation (Customer’s Responsibility)
All electrical work is entirely the customer’s responsibility.
Requirements vary depending on the model and the layout of your property. You must:
Arrange for a qualified electrician prior to installation.
Check the electrical specifications listed on the product page.
Ensure correct cable sizing, breakers, isolators, and compliance with UK electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
Provide your electrician with the manufacturer’s electrical manual in advance.
Where possible, have the electrician present on installation day.
Important: Failure to use a qualified electrician or failure to meet the required electrical standards may void the warranty.
Each product page includes an Electrical Supply section for further clarification.
If self-assembling
Review the assembly manual provided with your order.
Prepare the necessary tools and sufficient manpower in advance.
5. Delivery & Unloading
On the scheduled delivery day:
Your sauna arrives on a pallet
Our delivery team unloads the pallet (via pump truck/trolley where possible)
Components are placed at your designated kerbside or base area
Once delivered, please:
Unpack all components
Check for missing or damaged parts
Report any issues within 24 hours to maintain warranty eligibility

Installation quotes can be requested directly from the product page. Pricing varies by your distance from our warehouse.
Self-Assembly (Flat-Pack)
If you prefer to self-assemble:
Follow the detailed instruction manual
Assembly usually takes 1–2 days, depending on experience
Electrical Connection (Customer’s Responsibility)
All wiring, final electrical connection, and compliance with UK standards must be carried out by a qualified electrician appointed by the customer.
This includes:
Correct cable sizing
Safe heater connection
Isolation switch requirements
Certification of the installation
Incorrect or uncertified electrical work will void the warranty.
7. Finishing Touches & Safety Check
Once assembled:
Apply a breathable oil-based finish to interior and exterior wood surfaces (required for warranty validity)
Confirm the structure is level and stable
Check all doors, glazing, and ventilation
After wiring is complete, perform a first heat-up test
Obtain any required electrical certification from your electrician
